Hey there, I love the Hammer matches my UD quite well, I don't know if you looked at nylon stems or old school zap stems but they seemed to be very well liked.
But silicone, In the long run I don't think many users will be interested as t smells, the colors get orange, and it smells. Also silicone stems attract every particle.
I use my silicone everyday, but that is because it locks on to my UD, I prefer and normally choose my Glow in the dark chillum on my Hammer then my UD to finish.
But I do think wood with silicone would be nice.

functional cheap, won't break, and won't feel bad if it gets lost

I could have silicone stems like that on the website tomorrow. It would certainly do the job and definitely wont break.

I think i would go for a substantial solution such as teflon or nylon or SS or Ti. Some molded or machined.
Silicon seems atractive and is working for sure but overtime would take some unremovable odor and color. Making this beautifull convection device taste the same no matter strain?

so sad today i am...my customer stem was laying on my bathroom counter and rolled to the floor and broke. I am stemless...do you have any of the stems they were talking about above??
