Discontinued Inhalater XP

I lost the little screen in mine when I was trying it when I was out and about. I tried to give it another chance and took it out for a night on the town. I had one bowl and when I pulled the capsule out it pulled the screen with it and fell on the ground of a dark parking lot. Now I'll have to use one from a different capsule.

VapeNStone,
@Inhalater any advice? My unit isn't charging at all.

I think my unit might be dying... I've had a perfect unit since I got it many months ago. Unfortunately now half the time I turn it on it doesn't do anything. I have to go back to primitive methods of (lightly) banging it against my hand to get it to work. Also I hold it straight up and down and then bring the bottom down on my hand for it to work. I think like the battery or something is pulling away and that pushes all the parts back into place. :(

I feel like lately my XP's ability to charge has just tanked. I leave it plugged in for for long periods of time and it never reaches full. And when I try to use it while its low power and on usb it doesn't let me. I'll let it sit for an hour or so before I use it and it still dies after twoish hits. Its supposed to at least charge faster than it takes the charge from usage :/

@Inhalater, hey when is a tool coming out for the chamber screen removal.. Id like to give it a try lol. I've tried using a bent paper clip but the screen wouldn't budge. I heard using a PIN works but do I bend that a little bit to hook the screen or something? Just having a hard time cause it seems like its really gunked up and stuck down there.

So far I've only been wiping the chamber down with a tiny bit of iso and scraping the bottom screen with plastic straw or wooden pick.. but I want to fully replace the screen.

I used a bent paperclip or a toothpick, I don't remember which one but it did take a few minutes to get it out. Just had to work it slowly.

Maybe I should have done a bit more research before purchasing one. I wasn't aware they had to be handled with such care when plugging/unplugging the usb, but I wouldn't really say I mistreated it in any way.. I didn't really have time to.

Having said that, I'll definitely be taking extra special care and precautions if/when @Inhalater comes through with a timely replacement. I really enjoyed the experience, and would love for it to work.
It is with extreme reservation that I will respond as I am concerned that I may further upset my relationship with this vape vendor....I was also going to IM with you but after seeing that other members feel it is all about the inserting of the cable....when really the concern is not exactly apparent or noticeable to all of us because it is hidden within....and the concern is in the twisting or more accurately in the hard stops of the switch itself.....here is why;
The cap with numbers on it pops into a slot at the bottom of the body and once in place can freely spin 360 degrees and what stops it from doing so....in other words gives it a stop...to the left it has a click stop that turns the unit on and off...and to the right it has a hard stop where Auto is..... the answer is our concern and is why we need to be extra careful with and why I have said "DO NOT" let friends cycle it on & off at all.....and when we do....gentle should be our focus....especially when using Auto.....

Now I'm not looking to make an issue of this as I have already exchanged emails with this vendor and they are confident that the USB and LED can handle the twisting motion that we humans might apply. {I'd of course love to introduce them to a few construction buddies of mine} The importance here I feel is that we the consumers are informed so that we can take precautions that might prolong operability time.....
as I stated mine died this way {USB falling out} so we learned quickly and were able to get much more operation time with GF's unit but then we had the ICU deal eventually catch up with her's.....

I'm hoping this information can be received in the constructive informational fashion in which it was intended / meant to be delivered.....

The ICU issue I believe they have resolved but this USB thing is possibly a different scenario...bit unclear IMO

Finally got my screen out with a tooth pick, I pushed down a bit and pulled up..pretty simple.

Would any screen do fine in there?

Does anyone know if the persei bender WT would work with the INH with minimal accessories?

@Inhalater Thanks so much for my replacement vape, just received it this morning! However I do have a couple of quick questions as to it's version.

My replacement has no 'adults only' bit at the bottom, I thought the latest version was supposed to have this?

Also, my serial number is XPB1309, which is very similar to my previous one that broke. I was under the impression that newest versions had Q3 in the serial.

I am having an internal debate with myself as to whether to keep the vape or not, as I really don't want it breaking on me a few weeks down the line.

Yeah, I got an xpb13xx also. I ordered at the end of September from kushparadise. Inhalater had said everything was q3 at that point. KP had said they were only sending the newest units. It really appears as if this might be untrue. So far, this has gone unanswered. Pretty weird that I got one like this, then many others got a q3, then your return is an xpb much later. Having received my unit weeks ago, it only varies from yours by a couple of digits.

I see INH has posted another obscure message since I started. So jj, I guess you can use it and see if it breaks - hope that helps. Did that answer clarify for you whether you received a q3 or not? If so, please let me know. I really don't understand what is meant by 'decal batches overlap'. It kinda seems like what is overlapping is sales not production runs.

Inh: Are you saying that even though you told everyone that they would be getting q3 units at this point, that you decided to give some of us an older version?

How is your XP Snake? I just tried out mine and I got to say, it's like a different vape to my previous one. I don't know how but it's pretty bad. Can't remember what the rules say so I'll say no more about it. I am now in a dilemma about what to do next.

I never had a previous version to compare mine w/, but it is nothing like the early reviews or videos (which I assume are all q2's). There seems to be some disparity between how many intake holes are on the units. Mine had 4, which was way too many for me. The unit couldn't maintain heat and there was way too much air to ever get a real satisfying pull. The led would constantly be flickering, and the (loss of) vapor production was apparent when this was going on.

I plugged 3 of the 4 holes and used a grommet on the capsule where the top of the oven was exposed. Since doing this, my led rarely ever flickers, and the heat is way more contained. I am unable to detect any real convection action at all - as is still apparent w/ needing to wait 30-60 seconds between pulls. I also have to turn the heat up to about 7, wait 30 seconds then turn it back down to get productive vapor. I will get about 3-5 good pulls @5, turn it up to 7/then down to 6 - getting another 5-10 good pulls, then finish it off at 7. Vapor production is way more apparent @ 7, but not very smooth.

That being said, others have had different results. Some have 2 intake holes, others have 4. Some received xpb's, others received xpq3's.

Great mods. I like to play around temperature looking for taste and effect. I find that if I turn it at max and then down taste is way more dense. Effect is very uplifting with the high temperature medication up to a point. Then if I take too much i kind of get couch locked.

XPQ31"404" not found :D

I do have 2 holes and I play with my hand to limit the air by putting my hand on the hole while I inhale.
I don't know if it really change something but i feel like it's better to do this for half the session and sometime letting the air come as it should come give me a good hit but some time later i've got to play again with the hole if I want some more vapor and a good feeling hot air in my mouth

I have used my INH04 for almost a year. The only issues I've had with the function is the capsules do not seem to last very long. I've used this vape about 100 times, and have gone through 7-8 capsules (some were my fault, but 3 of them broke upon first use.

I get huge clouds when I want, though I find the taste lacking in comparison to my other vapes. The unit seems to work well except the biggest problem is the effects. It takes 2-3 capsules for me to feel even slight effects, and have never felt anything more than slight effects. I'm a medical patient, and have always gotten very high grade meds from my caregiver. I originally thought the problem was with the meds. So I pulled out my MFLB, and my Vapezilla (from 2004), and both of them gave me great effects from the equivalent of half of one capsule.

Has anyone else noticed a lack of effect? My vaped weed looks dark brown/black when finished, and actually the edibles from the AVB are very good too, for some reason I'm just not getting effects from using the INH.

I don't access to high grade buds but my Xp medicate me very good with a half capsule(sandwiched between two little piece of cotton) with or without clouds, with or without water

I think it's not efficiency issue but sometimes I don't feel medication because I don't keep quiet enough time, because stress, because many reasons... and if use it on the go it's not the better rime to feel effect. Your VZ need to be sit inside of it and the mflb session need lot of time and it's a different story for the Xp, perhaps this is the reason....I don't know....

This thread has quieted down a lot since the Q3 XP units were sent out. Does this mean everyone is satisfied? ...

I have noticed my USB port seems to be loosening up a good bit, makes me get worried. When plugged in, the cable wiggles the entire usb port.
There's also the vapor quality issue, whats the update with that?

Overall my unit is still working great and hasn't failed me yet. I still get medicated great off of it, but I do notice the lower vapor production and now the USB port has me a little worried. Stiil a great product, but if I can get more out of my 250$ investment I'll definitely go for it.

i have been watching the thread, but when units started getting shipped, they looked seriously "fuck off". misalgined graphics, clearly rushed, left a really bad taste in my mouth overall.

and it looks like more or less the same thing is happening now, i saw the Inh XP new models for preorder on PV, i would be very mad if I was using one from the last batch of XP's for sure. i'm glad i rid myself of it.

for now I think Inh has a while to go and win back a lot their crowd who now, for good reason, are very untrustworthy of the company

the xp did hit very well for the few days i used it but the build quality was just so atrocious i know i had to give it up or regret not doing so later.

I'm hoping that is the case for most...we've already heard from a couple and I think they were at least satisfied maybe a couple weren't...but I trust if something was going on they would be posting up a storm so its the old no news is good news.....
I am sorry to hear about your USB port.....and I can so feel for your concern.... all I can offer is again be very gentle when turning on and off....do not twist firmly...use your finger tips...like a gal would softly adjust her lipstick back in the day.....
.....if I remember correctly you were the member that was extra extra careful when inserting and reinserting your cable....
anyway the good news is that if it does continue and eventually fail they will honor their warranty....
gentle twisting is the key to getting more time with her......

GrassHopper is on the way....;)

OK I've so enjoyed most all of your pots so I'll bite.....whats a GrassHopper a new vape or a Kufu reference..?
