This is the paradigm MTV and the like have been operating under for quite some time now. "I love this music (er, I mean video)!" :disgust:

Allow me to step in and (most likely) introduce to you a band I really like, they go by the name of Chinese Man.

They mix different influences such as trip hop, dub, down-tempo, drum n' bass, jazz or hip hop, but not only. And if it's your kind of sound I really recommend seeing them live (even though they're mainly touring in France, they travel at times and have had gigs in quite a few countries and on several continents) as they're not the kind to play their songs exactly like the studio versions and they also get some pretty good additions on stage.

Instead of posting a wall of videos here are some links of songs I like (most of them are part of playlists), I'll still post a video because some people might not wanna adventure themselves outside of FC and also cause I like it!

^^^ Loving Miss Chang & Skank in the Air in particular :) ^^^ - this band kind of reminds me of the Gorillaz and Parov Stelar rolled into one.

I haven't listened to the Gorillaz in a while, nor this band (one of my fav's as a teen):

glad you like it, I bet you're not too much fan of the miss Chang remix :lol:, can't say it's my favorite but I wanted to show their diversity. I realize I haven't really posted my favorite tracks from CM but well most of their work is listed with grooveshark links so you guys can decide for your own and if you want some recommendations just ask.

Regardless of how much influence the imagery has/had on the soundexperience,if it hadn't been a good piece of music on it's own,i would not have posted it in this thread.;)
