Thought I would give the Supreme a run effeciency wise with a small amount.

Measured out 3 PD stems and packed that up, did 2 heatups (315, 330), got 4 hits in total in the vaporbong... seems to work good :D I find that it's producing an equivalent high.

Time wise, from unpacking/heating up from cold/having a bowl/packing up = 4.5 minutes, I find despite needing a butane torch... this vape is quite easy for an at home style vape.
Now youre getting it!!!!! Thats exactly what I do for efficiency....I load up MZ stems, then blow em out into the SV. I must say though....this lil HDVape is kicking my ass left, right & center! :o

When I was sending him emails, it seems like he takes weekends off... so if you sent it on late Friday or Saturday I wouldn't expect a reply till Monday.

Otherwise, all my emails were replied to in 24 hours.

I'm happy to say I'll be joining the club. I traded my Launch Box to a friend of mine for his supreme... a good deal if you ask me! It's coming in the mail and should be here by tomorrow or maybe the day after.

The thought of being able to use my glass again and take some serious bong rips has me all giddy!

My supreme came a few days ago and I've been loving it. I wish I found this bad boy a few years ago. This thing pumps out big hits, as big as any home unit I've tried.

The taste is good, similar to the PD, with the initial woody taste that disappears after a bit of use. I find I get the best vapor quality between 275 and 310. Once I go over 310, there can be some popcorn taste, and over 320, it gets real popcorn tasting. Those hits around 300 are crazy huge with a super high vapor/air ratio.

The vape hits pretty smooth dry, but it really shines when you run it through some water. For such a little piece, it's capable of producing serious milk in large tubes.

If you pick up a decent micro-torch you can easily cut the heat-up time in half, takes me less than a min to reach vape temps. Blazer is definately the brand of torch to go for, but any half decent micro-torch will kill the stock torch.

:peace:

Ok, I finally bit the bullet and after a morning of searching around online in Australia I've ordered a Blazer GB2001 :ninja: ($105 AUD :o:o:o)

The problem is though for the life of me I can't find Blazer butane... I have a can of Bernzomatic butane here that costed a fair bit... does it REALLY matter? I don't know if I'll be able to find Blazer butane at all.

So far Ive been using Zippo without any issues or clogging. Its considered a premium fuel, but I dont know how many refinements its been thru.

I thought my Bernzomatic torches (which I have 2 of now) were doing a bang up job... then I saw your heatup with your Blazer knockoff FEAR and felt bad :(

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cROcxyiWOXs

Mine jumps up by 6-7 degrees a second, yours is jumping by ~20 :o If the Blazer GB2001 works as well as the torch in your video, I'll be a happy man.

anz and other Blazer users should be able to confirm the heatup time?

My boilermaker brother popped in before and said "brand does not matter, butane is butane and only the quality matters... so regardless of the brand just buy the highest quality butane... any talk about especially designed for is bullshit". So now the question, is bernzomatic butane quality :uhoh:

Anything that is 4 or 5 times refined should be fine. The marketing term i've seen used is Near Zero Impurities if you can find one of the brands listed there you should be good. This thread might help you out it's about Australian butane recommendations. It does mentions Dunhill and that's on the previous list so it should be good if you can find it.

Butane brands are usually pretty country specific. Even being next to the US i've never seen Vector or Blazer butane available. Up here Colibri is where it's at.

My torch is merely a knockoff of the Blazer...if youre getting the real deal Id expect a slightly better heat up time with even better fuel consumption.

Wow, thanks for the link Skunky... I can see one of the cans I have (Ventti) is not recommended.

Time to search for some of this 5x Wallaby ;)

Personally I'm a big fan of leaning over and heating the block on an electric burner. The gas hissing noise just irritates me. The only problem with this is it is easy to forget, overheat and burn. I have damaged several Supremes this way, and basically even if the wood isn't charred, the aluminum tube gets loose in the wood and you get air leaks.

This wouldn't be nearly so annoying if the replacement blocks weren't over $40 and Ed didn't insist on shipping them so that I have to drive to the post office and sign in person every time! Seriously, I asked and he wouldn't ship it so they'd leave the damn thing on the doorstep (hopefully he's loosened this policy since last year).

At some point I need to post a couple of my mods. In particular I think some people would dig my "wand" (inspired by the MyrtleZap) I made from the same size tube as the supreme uses + a slightly smaller tube + some screen jammed in-between.

Most torches recomend only using triple refined because the 4x and 5x actually are really hard on the seals inside the torch. You really only need triple for torches. The blazer brand butane is only triple. The higher stuff is what most people are using for bho. This is what multiple blazer owners have said atleast. Its the torch i use and love it. Im heatin ti though... You guys just got all your torch talk in here. I still need to have a sesh with no smoke to see what this thing can do.

Wtf... just recieved my "Blazer", it says it's a "Prince"

Wtf... a "Prince GB-2001" that looks like this

prince-gb2001.jpg

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, Japanese made...

The flame is FUCKING MASSIVE as and works good so its no biggie, I just feel like I was ripped off as the ebay ad says "The original Blazer microtorch".

EDIT: Fuck yeah, my heatup time is now a 1/3rd of what it was previously :ninja:

I've had the Supreme a couple of days now. The way it plugs right into your glass pieces is awesome! Being a portable is also a big plus for me. You guys are right about using a good quality, powerful torch, I use a creme brulee torch, Makes a HUGE difference! This thing really rips and performs great at home or on the go. I highly recommend the Supreme!:D

Id be upset but no that upset. Granted, its NOT a blazer, but it does look like a damn nice piece of kit. Im happy to hear the heatup time has been drastically reduced with it. It really would be nice if Ed decided to step the torches up and offer the larger HONEST/Blazer style while adding the cost to the price....At $188 with the new torch,Id still buy 2 of em!!!!

hmm it looks exactly like the blazer , only difference is the sticker. They could very well be the same torch , just branded for different markets. That's ebay for you.

That seems to be the case.

http://www.google.com/search?q=blazer+prince+torch

I sent an email to the company and subsequently had an excellent series of correspondences with a Blazer Products representative.

Since the "Blazer" torch name is a trademark wholly owned by Blazer Products Inc., they are the sole manufacturers of the torch and, by confidential agreement, EXCLUSIVELY distribute it OUTSIDE OF ASIA. The PB207 is marketed only in Japan and Asia under the "Prince" brand name.
The Blazer gb200 is a no-nonsense tool for sure, it's not even supposed to be sold to consumers. The design hasn't changed for like 10 years or something and many people report that theirs is still going strong after years of use and abuse.

Burn shit, yeah!

Got a chance to use a friend's BonJour creme brulee torch, it does NOT compare to the blazer GB2001. The flame is just too "rough", you can't focus the flame like on the GB2001. And nice detective work tac... I figured as much, just was too lazy to look into it lol.
