Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

this cloud looks epic, gonna buy one, but i guess ill wait for the evo eh? can anyone tell me if the evo is supposed to be any lighter than the old model? I'm searching the thread of course, but its 700+ posts..
haven't seen anything official on the EVOs weight, but considering that it is to employ some polycarbonate-type enclosure instead of an aluminum one like the older models, I think it should be noticeably lighter, if not considerably so.

Is it a secret? I wasn't aware. Considering that the Beta Testing and the shipping date of the Beta units was announced here, I figured we were all privy to information.

Yeah there are details that we are unsure that the VXL team wants to share publicly. That's why fanatics have gone quiet.

We still love chatting in here and sharing all the details we can... but we don't want to cross any lines accidentally. The VXL team is super busy and we don't want to constantly bother them about what's okay to share and what isn't, so I guess no one ends up really saying anything.

That said, things are going really good and I was amazed at how hard they are working for quality - a detail we can probably spill the beans on later.

I decided to make this post because I feel like people in this thread need to have some kind of understanding about why no one is really talking. It's because it's not in our place to give out the limited details we currently know; it's up to the VXL team.

Just know that things are looking good, IMO, and I'm sure lots of other fanatics would agree.

oh yeah, been lookin at the website. I notice the only one of the hydratubes they offer with an ice pinch is that ssfg hydraline, but i dislike that long breakable part on it. Anybody have any experience with any other hydratubes with a pinch? or what's the best hydratube? i have plenty of normal tubes to use, just want a nice hydratube to go with my cloud with an ice pinch

Hey,

Despites the fact my Straight HT won't fit, i took the fancy custom pelican STYLE case because it's chrismas everyday.

I almost pulled the trigger thinking I may get a bent-neck HT someday, but I love my straight HTs and will likely wait or make my own case.

fwiw . . . I use the HydraLine almost daily, and have had friends use it many times. The vapor return line is I suppose a vulnerability, but the entire piece is strong and I see that only breaking if the piece were dropped on a hard surface (which admittedly disqualifies it for the stoned-butterfingers among us). Even so, it has wonderful inline action, fits 3 ice cubes, and has no drag. My favorite HT. :2c:

I sent an email reply as well. No response yet. I do want their case, it would be nice to have something safe to transport it in. I like the idea of having a branded case. lol

If not I guess I could get gun case and convert it..

Read back a page or two and someone said there is a Pelican case that'll work that's cheaper than that gun one. Pelican is a good brand too.

Anyway as far as hydratubes go, I think they're like Pokemon. Gotta catch 'em all! Different ones serve different purposes.

It really is a problem...none of my friends understand my glass/ vape - buying problem!

My cousin got a DaVinci and is set until he can get a small bubbler to use it.

In comparison, from the time he got the DaVinci, I did IndieGoGo for a Vapexhale EVO, bought a HI, bought 2 pieces of glass, 2 grinders, a bunch of adapters and small toys for my vapes, and am currently looking at a 3rd piece of glass.

This website always makes me feel good that I'm not the only one like that, haha. Most of my hobbies have minimal financial commitment, so I blow the rest on pretty glass :)

Awesome man thats just the type of review I was hopin for. That one looked the best to me after knowing what I like in a tube, someone offered me one via pm though, so I'm gonna take a look at that one before i pull the trigger on either. :p

You sir, are not alone. People tell me I'm insane all the time for the money I spend on smoking related products.. Sometimes I literally put new pieces away and don't show anyone because I'm sick of hearing, "Dude you got ANOTHER piece??" or, "How much did you spend on THAT thing??" But hey, it's my money, I do what I want :] As should you.

Yeah it's a weird hobby to have, i feel like no one really gets it.
My parents will NEVER get it and neither will my girlfriend and even my stoner friends
don't really understand. They opt to use plastic bottles and garden hoses due to 'convenience'.
Whilst for now i think i may start to be more relaxed on my glass spending ways. Every now and then i'll see a piece that i'll absolutely crave for. I've been looking at some gridded inline recycles and circs to turbines that just make my mouth water. In the end i think we all have hobbies. Mine happens to be drug paraphernalia :p. I like collecting things that are kinda taboo in society.
I guess my main legitimate argument for buying all the stuff i buy is because i care about my HEALTH.
That's why i bought a santa cruz shredder (cause my other grinder was starting to leave pieces of aluminum in my mix... not cool)
That's why i bought a vapexhale cloud (Cause it's better for your lungs, and also tastier and gets me higher than smoking)
That's why i bought a herb iron (Cause butane ruins the taste of your herb and isn't really that good for you)
Why i bought in a Highly Educated V3 Ti Nail (Because of the companies rep with high grade titanium insuring that you wont be inhaling any weird metals or whatever found in lower grade titanium)
And why i bought multiple glass pieces (Because i like having variety and i can't stand smoking out of a bottle, it's simply unhealthy.. But i also do find it fun to collect various pieces and i like the different feeling in the pull and the diffusion and the taste. Like sometimes if i want to have a fat hit then i'd find the mobius 60t i have is better cause it's smoother, or if i want to have a small tasty hit then maybe i'd try my vertigo piece or my tykler or mobius reti (though i'm thinking about selling my mobius reti cause i find the chamber a bit too big for my liking).

Anyways that was a long ramble...

I get how you feel though, i don't think anyone i hang around with will really be as weirdly as obsessive as i am.

I think a lot of us can relate to the last few posts, I know I sure can, weed nerds rule!!!

I think my personal journey had to include glass with at least one type of each perc out there so I could experience and decide for myself what kind of diffusion I want/need for maintaining my health and personal well being. Being sick and disabled for me the Cloud is a serious tool, but trying to convey that to a healthy person is really hard, I agree, no one gets it, which is why my friends are here.

Read back a page or two and someone said there is a Pelican case that'll work that's cheaper than that gun one. Pelican is a good brand too.

A bit of additional info re the cases . . .

There is no exact size equivalent of the branded VXL case to a Pelican case, but the closest is the 1450, which costs ~$100. (I have a Nanuk 930, equiv to a Pelican 1520 - for using 2 HT's) The 1400 is smaller, but is also only ~$75.

The Pelican (and Nanuk) is heavier and designed for serious exposure and abuse. The VXL is described as plenty sturdy but lighter-weight and very easy to handle. IMO looks a bit more like a gun case. I take the VXL case as great for example for a playdate session over a friend's or at the beach. Or it is small enough to fit inside a larger, checked luggage piece. And of course it has the VXL branding logo. On the other hand, the Pelican goes out on the boat or on your next trip to Syria.

As far as using a gun case, the above linked is the size of a Pelican 1520 and costs every bit as much. I also have the much less expensive Plano 1404 (only $20), which works fine for visiting your squeeze, etc.

I can soooooo relate to this. I was the king of making beer can pipes. I had (have?) a great technique and have made hundreds of these.

I'm almost ashamed to admit that I once used the same beer can for about a year before making a replacement one. :puke:

Of course that was BFC (before FC).

Not to derail . . . but my brother had a bong he had made out of a gallon Cribari wine jug like the one below. You couldn't change the water in it and after a couple years someone broke it on one of my mother's priceless oriental rugs while my parents were out of town.

"Hello, ServiceMaster? . . . we need help . . ." :o

It's because here at FC, we are the connoisseurs of marijuana. No more dirty grav bongs for me! (though back in the day...I was the MacGyver of Grav Bongs.)

Not to get too far off topic but back in the day we used a 5 gal polar water bottle topped with a giant foil bowl packed with about an 1/8 of schwag in an above ground swimming pool....light with a blow torch and whoever was hitting it would go under water, let all their air out, then come up with their head inside the bottle, take a giant breath, then go back under water and try to come up without coughing it out. Fucking chaos lol.

Oh how far we've come.

BTW, Ol' Ticky Tickerson is still pumping out silly clouds. Cant wait for the new version tho!!!

I think it's time to start posting here..
Mainly to ask if anyone else hears the clicks like I do :D
I love the cloud, I'm actually using less herb than with my lsv. Unfortunately it doesn't mate well with the mobius matrix :\
The apix showerhead is another deal.. MILKY:tup:
Not to derail it either but those cans are bad business , I've used a couple but vaporizing has pushed me far far away from all of that
