Tobacco and oils in the same pen?

Hey guys,

I'm looking to get a vaporizer gift for a loved one who smokes both tobacco and medical flowers. From the reviews here, it seems like the pens that use flowers aren't as reliable or stealth looking, so I'm fine sticking to concentrates.

That being said, which portable pen would be the best pick for both tobacco oil and dabs/concentrates? I'd like to keep it under $150, and the "stealthier" looking the better.

I'd say a Persei and Hercules combo but that's well over budget. I'm not sure how well the v1 Hercules works with tobacco (@THC SCIENTIFIC ), but assuming it has the same vaporizing criteria as bud, this would work nicely:

Get a pack of 2.4 ohm Omicron carts with that for concentrates and your friend will be able to do loose leaf tobacco, flowers, and concentrates. Should also be within budget and the unit can be upgraded later.

Also I'd pay the extra five bucks for the upgrade to the v2.5 top. That's selectable under the color option.

Edit: I forgot the unit also comes with a 2.4 ohm concentrate cart too. No need to buy extras unless you are feeling generous.

I've never heard of tobacco oil. I do know that vaping tobacco will gunk up any vape with residue and make it nasty for vaping mj, so I would never use the same unit for both.

If you mean e-juice not tobacco oil then I would just get an ego style battery with clearomizers, a 510 to 601 adapter and some omicron carts. You should be able to get everything for under $100 and that includes $50 for a five pack of omicron carts

Hey, I haven't seen a portable pen that you can put both oil & concentrate in?? I use the blaze twin vaporizer and its a oil vaporizer that comes with two in a box for like $95.00. Look at http://www.vaporizerusa.net/blaze-twin-oil-liquid-vaporizer.html. I love mine!

thats just an ego battery with a ce4 tank, you can get the same thing on eBay or Amazon without the Dragon sticker for about $15

Wow! $15 is dirt cheap! is the unit just as cheap as the price?

all the ego batteries are pretty much identical. it is really common practice to buy them in bulk slap some labels on them to brand them then mark them up tenfold. there are a few cart brands out there that are better than the cheap Chinese ones but the ce4 carts are all disposable anyway and even the quality ones go for like $8 at a LHS
