if that is not mj being vaped and just some 'energy blend' then that is impressive. i have not been able to produce vapor like that with other herbs sans mj. if it is just the 'energy blend' then the EVO sure looks like a lot of cloud-making fun.

It is probably mj, they are just cautious. In the past they got shut down just because they confirmed mj being used in their vids.
We all know what is loaded there. Its dense, has expectorant effects, what else could that be?
(I can think of few other vaporizables that can make even thicker vapor, but none of these makes you cough.)
They just can't say what it is directly. I think they shouldn't mention it at all if they want to remain safe.

Seriously, I don't think so.

They are developing herbal blends that do not contain mj, but which do offer health benefits. If SM says that is what he is testing with the EVO, then I think that's all it is.

And anything can make you cough, if it irritates your lungs sufficiently.

Anyone here have any experience vaping any botanicals like that? I tried smoking some of those herbal blends many years ago but i dont recall if I was able to notice any effect.

They don't tend to have drastic effects like MJ but I find if you vape herbals while pretty sober, you can get noticeable effects of stimulation, relaxation, etc.

It's a great way to lower your MJ tolerance and stretch out your stash ;)
(and get some tasty flavors!)

That looks like it might be similar to the idgg Ice Pinch HT? That 1 handed use is pretty slick and I'm also no longer concerned that I should have gone bent neck. Looks smooth and sweet.

Logo seems smaller and less of an issue on the straight tube vid on IG http://instagram.com/p/e70x-FFS0K/# today than it did last week. Funny how a Miley Cyrus hosted shift-fest of an SNL can totally mellow one out like that :) It's like I don't even see the logo anymore. All I can see, whenever I close my eyes, is Miley with that stupid Gwen Steffani clone haircut and that tongue. And oh gawd, I can hear her voice when it's quiet. Ugh her fucking annoying voice!

Hope I'm wrong, but seeing as that is the old swagger logo. It's possible that was a prototype made before they fully adopted the new labels. So that could mean there is some stock of early bird HTs without the new labels, but I wouldn't get your hopes too high. You guys are just going to have to wait and see.

The cloud certainly has really low drag compared to most, if not all other vapes. But that isn't to say it doesn't add significant resistance to your draw, bc it does, as expected. I'm not saying this is a flaw, quite the opposite, the cloud is non-restrictive for a vape. However, it still takes quite some effort to manage draw speeds at that rate through a cloud. While totally possible, it is not comfortable or enjoyable to do regularly, at least for me. So while you can hit it that fast, no doubt, you may not not find yourself doing so too often. Additionally, this is precisely why I'm not a fan of the turbines. Unless hit at that uncomfortably high draw speed, all they are doing is adding drag, not peculation. Again this is just my two cents...

That's awesome! I wish all their blends weren't still at the sold out status on the site. I'd get each and everyone of the blends in a second :D.

The Cloud and EVO truly seem to deliver every thing I truly desire in a Vaporizer: great pairing with water pieces, quick full thick clouds, and the use with multiple botanicals!!

i have tried some other herbs - lemon balm, damiana, basil, blue lotus etc but in my limited experience i have not come across any that have cloud-like vapor of mj. (i bought the dried herbs, maybe they were too dry???) can you list what other herbs "that can make even thicker vapor". thanks.

nice. if it is non-mj vapor, it sure looks great. would love to see the EVO cloud production power when vaporizing other non-mj herbs.

Anyway, that vid of the early bird tube is great. Nice to see a tube version and it makes me wonder when the final fanatic glass will be revealed, and if it'll come with the beta package or if a glass mouthpiece will arrive instead.

I'm happy to wait and be surprised by whatever glass arrives. Next Tuesday they'll be shipped out and we'll find out shortly. Just finish up this week, enjoy the weekend, and then before you know it beta units will be shipping out.

I know about that Clarksville. It probably pre-dates most FC members, but recall that I'm :myday: . Ugh, it's burned in my memory (along with hits by the Archies).

But these days I can also be a little slow on the uptake. Is there some significance re Clarksville and the first EVO shipments that I'm missing?

I agree with the frit being airy, I find that the frit keep's my mouth moistest as well. I think what keeps the inline so flavorful may be due to the fact with that type of perc it's restricted as far as stacking. Because of the shape of those pieces (an upside down cross)the diffusion is concentrated into the cross point where the vapor goes vertical. It's almost like an upside down drain flushing maximum flavor. This is also why inline's rarely need a splash guard, the water is already redistricted from rising.

BTW - this is my own theory, I could totally be wrong. Shit, if you were my wife I would always be wrong. :disgust:

I am excited to test the EVO through my different glass pieces. I would expect a frit with a decent volume of water to take away a bit of flavor.

T-dub, mvapes, have you tried a waterless hit to see how the frit works as a diffuser on its own? I would think it would still smooth out the hit some, but retain most of the flavor.

The fritt scrubs dry pretty well . . . even though, I still prefer moisture with less scrubbing if you will? Thats why the Devastator is so awesome. Its really smooth but the flavors still come through with the way the liquid/gas volumes are calculated in the piece and the design of the showerheads.
