I think that post of mine was before he said it wasn't really FC doing this. Would have to read back a bit though.

Anyway, to make this post somewhat relevant to the thread, I think tomorrow we will hit 9 days til betas are shipped off. We'll be out of the double digit days.

We can all sit back and relax for a while as it'll be here in no time. :cool:

they can simply relieve their opinion here calmly and I think I've not yet seen VapeXhale not to resolve any complaint there.
I think it can be the only HT yet with that logo, a prototype. And I believe the final ones are going to be as awesome as people want.
Sadly the FC is on the internet, a public place, where everyone can view a new photo and non-fc igg contributors can go rant on email then.

While I would like to agree with you about FC members not being a part of the emails, from what I have seen in this thread and other unrelated threads, I do not believe that to be the case. I am not speaking from direct knowledge, just from what I have seen exhibited in the past. I wish that was a fact, but I have suspicion that is not. There has been a hell of a lot of emotional attachment going on this release, especially with contributers, since day one. Completely understandable, and I see that as a good thing. But also, along with opinions and wishes, there have also been a lot of demands made. Many here, and I'm sure by email. Guess that's the nature of the "online" beast. Some just cannot refrain from making their desires known in inapproprite ways. Happens all the time. If it happens here on threads, so be it. If it carries over, not so appropriate.
I have always appreciated your posts, so I hope this does not get taken wrongly. I just saw a particular portion of your post that I felt stongly about, and wanted to add comment on it. You seem to look for the best in everyone. Unfortunately, this is not always the case. This IS coming from a contributor to VXL that feels so strongly about what they are doing and accomplishing, I just had to reply.
I have my own, often strong, opinions about what they are doing, but I often stay silent. (Except for requesting wild option shit trying to make a point to others, and have some fun). I do not expect others to do the same. I prefer to have confidence in what VXL are doing, even if it conflicts with some of my own ideas. I DO NOT fault any others from their opinions ON THE BOARDS. If it does cross over to demanding emails directly to VXL, I have issue. I believe that may have occurred, and I completely understand the attitude they MAY cop as a result of that. But, I do think they will see through the shit.
Folks, express your opinions and desires freely on the thread. It has been a huge part of the development of the product, and is watched closely even when VXL are not posting. DO NOT email demands and such directly, as it is truly a futile effort and only serves to piss people off. If you have to vent, vent your ass on the thread. It will be seen. Tying up their email/phones is not only fruitless, it only causes wasted time that would be better served taking care truly appreciative customers and getting the actual product out.

Sorry, guess that was my first vent on FC! (And, thanks Seek, for being you!)

Anyone, anyway to contact mods other than reporting a post? Recently back, and my only two posts attributed incorrectly (one above), another one a reply to an different thread post, wound up in thread I hadn't even been to.....? (Just found it by luck). And, no.... nothing to do with medicating :shrug:

Now I understand why we always saw them pull it at full speed, that's how fast you can hit it! I've been using the pax and the solo, and they just bubble when you hit them, you can't really have fun until you clear a piece... but oh man this is going to cut my hit time in half!

I wouldn't say "a lot", but on the taste/smoothness tradeoff spectrum, it's high on the smoothness and low on the taste. I'd say the taste spectrum goes something like this:

Dry stem > Showercap HT > circ & tree HTs > double chamber HT > Devastator.

Invert that list for the smoothest hit scale.

@stonemonkey55 what temp was that? If that's 12, it looks like it accumulates vapor slightly faster than the cloud, however that's possible.

Nevertheless, dude you and the team have done tremendous work and all I really wanted to say is hats off to the chef!! We can be a finicky crowd at times and I appreciate the continuous updates, even when we are unappreciative.

I find the inline has close to showercap taste but with at least circ smoothness. Also, I have been comparing a fritted disc to the Devastator this afternoon, and they are close. The fritt seems to be "airier" with the vapors slightly more concentrated on the Devastator . . .
