Is theyoyokid1 offering the $50 special? The price they have showing is $117. Is there a code to give them, or do you just ask for Vapor Blunt's current special price?

Use the "Make Offer" button.

It sucks to pay more than the real postage cost (if that actually is the case here) but $80 is still a damned sight better than full price. Shipping for a F-Bomb from Planet Vape to Australia would be $25 though, so I'm not sure that $30 is out of this world.

That's odd. I lined up an experimental order as a quote recently with PV. I added a Solo GOnG and a J-hook and some GonG adapters, and it offered me "Small Packet International Air (8-20 Business Days* no tracking) - $9.97". That's significantly more mass and volume of glass pieces than an F-Bomb, so don't know what's up there if they charge $25 to send that. (F-Bomb has oversized packaging, maybe?)

TRVB said they'd extend the offer to their retailers, but so far it seems yoyokid1 is the only one of them?

Quick question... I'm looking at cases for this unit. I found the vapecase, and that looks good but I'd really also like too fit a watertool (fbomb or similar). Any ideas? Needs to be low profile (ideally I'd like someone to see it and not want to ask me about it) and keep smell in.

Also anyone see these cases before? I'm afraid they will be cheaply made... but i like the idea.

I have the vapecase and it's working out well for me I store my Solo, 3 stems, misc caps and stir sticks, a grinder and two vials of herb as well as my Dabbler pen vape. It's compact yet quite roomy for its size. Actually, it's fairly inconspicuous as it looks like a case for a small socket set or something. IDK, but I think there would be room for either a Pinnacle WT or an F-Bomb.. Those things are very small....

I haven't seen that other case, but it looks kind of bulky to me. I just looked at the picture. Couldn't find the dimensions......

I think @PlanetVape have changed the international shipping prices. Shipping for my recent stem order was more than usual.

Wasnt sure where to ask this, so Ill post here too... Im 99.9% decided on a Solo (was thinking about a PNP), but I also want to order the "small" stuff with it to eliminate shipping costs. Other than the AC adapter and and the high flow stem (from PV), is there anything else PV carries that I should be looking at picking up? I will most likely end up getting the Pinnicle WT as well, Im assuming I need some sort of adapter for this? Is that the "gong" @ataxian was talking about above? I'm assuming PV also offers these?

You're gonna want one of the 14mm ones to use with the PNWT. The 'shortys' have a smaller bowl head. I like the shorties when I'm at home, at friends... (where I don't mind packing more often) because I would rather have more 'fresh' hits. But if I'm on the road, or at the beach say and packing would be annoying, the reg ones are the choice.

I like both so I can mix the experience!
ebay is were I get the glass screens
Try both or just one type.
If I go too hot I get headaches.
Maybe that's why I chase flavor and not clouds?

Thanks for reply @ataxian!
I have not found thin daisy screen like yours, but only those with the stem for glass pipe.
However i find 3 place on the web where i can buy the Honeycomb screens. Can you advise me on what is the best choice and which measures (in mm) should I buy? thank you very much.

Glass is all over the place concerning size.
I can only use 75% of them as some are too big.
Thank GOD their cheap!

3/8" to 1/2" is the range I look for to fit my gear.

I will check with my calipers when I officially wake up to verify.

I paid $10.00 for 10. (honeycomb)
$6.00 for 12. (Daisy)

Good deal!

Thanks man! But I have noticed that the site does not report the measures:doh:
I looked elsewhere and found this too.

Otherwise I'd take those to PUFFITUP on ebay

What do you think!? Thanks a lot

I would suggest @Pipes accessories. The AIO charger + the resin stand (1st gen pictured) is amazing IMO.

It's been many days since I've had to actually charge my Solo. The convenience factor is off the charts when combined with the stand, which allows you to save so much time and wasted movement, like I didn't realize how much time wasting and fiddling was going on with the solo before I could just plug it in, set it and forget it.

Combine that with the micro-bubbler stand he made... it's just very nice having these convenient, hand crafted by FC member, functional, durable, SOLO specific accessories.

Unlike 90% of iPhone accessories which do nothing, the @Pipes stuff has completely changed how I look at the SOLO now. Especially when water-tooling for cloudy sessions on temp 7. (99% of the time for me now)

The plugging in/charging, unplugging, powering up, powering down, finding a place to charge it without worrying about it laying on its side etc... all of those ticky tac worries are solved with 1 small densely packed envelop shipped from north of the border.

This one does charging or PA in the car or house in one unit! I'm not sure but it might be able to do both at the same time (with 2 solos) Plus it has that handy stand all for roughly the same price (think it maybe like $10 more) as the stock PA.

Thanks Hexi, great you like the stuff. IMHO, I agree...:D

Aside from offering a wider base, how is this different from the ac adapter that PV offers?

The AIO has advantages like being able to PA in the car which the OEM PA can not. It uses a single supply for both charging and PA operation. Does this by using a step down voltage regulator to drop the beefed up 12 volt supply to 8 volt.

Here are some posts for your viewing pleasure:

Making the Step Down unit
Adding an addition heatsink
Some technical Stuff
Cradle is born

And only available to FC members via PMs.

And NOW also taking adopters for the OEM 1.7 mm version as many have requested. These are the same as in my signature. Have basic black for $20 or "glow" versions of either green or orange for addition $5 or $25. They have the manufacturers plug size so will work with all their power accessories with NO need for adapters.

Edit:

When purchasing an AIO the stand is 2.1 mm to fit AIO power options and is $5 cheaper plus the shipping savings.

Hope this helps,

I just received my first Solo! It's my first vape, me and my girlfriend were worried about whether or not we would get as high as with joints.

I feel like lucky charms.

This should summarize my feelings about my new vape, and my vaping experience. I never been as high as I am right now, pulling on it gave me a headache though but that might be me being noob with it.

I like 5-6 as my temperature. I tried 4-5-6 so far, I heard 7 could combust my herbs so I didn't tried it.

It's really great, I love it!

Also PV doesn't sell stands or bundles. A PA is fantastic, but a PA that works with a stand designed for the SOLO and allows you to stand the SOLO upright while plugged in + the functionality @Pipes describes etc... the OEM PA doesn't have anything for that.

Congrats TB. Step 7 won't combust your herbs as the temperature does not go high enough for combustion + there is no flame source.
Welcome to vaping brah

Setting 7 will not combust your herbs. I have never had this happen or heard of it occurring to someone else.
