I think I need some tips using this thing.

Compared to the SSV, I find it very hard to draw through. I have never tried the Solo, but I can't imagine it being any worse than this and still being usable..

How much flowers are you using? I have tried between .1 and .2, but it seems to be even harder to draw through with more material, not even packing it down.

After two sessions on a bullet, I turned it up to 5 to try to finish it off (I was able to put an SSV tube on the mp), hit it a few more time until there was no vapor. abv came out nice and brown, but I put it in the SSV and got 3 more good rips(set to ~2:00)... I have to be doing something wrong. Or am I expecting too much having only ever used the SSV?

Probably both. It's possible you have a defective unit, but because you are getting brown abv, I think it's user error. first off, don't compare any portable to the ssv. It's not fair and there isn't a portable on the market that will hit like it. That being said, the PNPro should still get you hi. My best guess is that you are drawing too fast. You know how you can pull too hard on the ssv and get weaker vapor? It's like that to a greater degree with most portables. Try packing the bullet full, tamping it down a little and packing it some more. Then start on setting 3, giving it a good minute after it says it is ready before hitting it. Then take a nice, slow draw (especially if using the WT) and see how it goes...if done correctly you should get a nice big hit. If this works even a little bit, then you can start playing with your technique, which mostly will consist of nothing more than how you pack it and how hard you draw. good luck!

Dear TheRealVaporBlunt,

You brilliant bastards!!! The Pro is a work of art and everything I've always wanted in a portable vape. I got home from work and there she was in a box on my porch. The yoyokid is good, it shipped very quickly. I plugged it in, went for sushi, then came back to full blue bars. I started on level 2 and got light, visible vapor. Nicely medicated. Second round was on 3 and this is where it's at for me. Nice thick clouds. One session on 2, then 2 sessions on 3, and I only lost 2 bars of battery. I didn't get the WT so I was just using the mouthpiece.

One thing I really love about the Pro is the ergonomics. It feels so damn good in my hand and the flat mouthpiece is a joy to wrap my lips around. This is as close to a functional pen vape for flowers as you can get these days. Everyone needs one of these.

I don't know if it's just because it's new, but I wait for the bullet to cool, blow on the screen, and the avb pops out like a cork leaving the bullet nice and shiny. So easy.

I'm gonna do a comparison between the Pro and the original DV soon. I just wanted to give TheRealVaporBlunt props for a beautiful piece of machinery.

Someones asked for pics of the wt so here you go:

And here is the PonG. Not sure if it was melted or dirty but I can't clean it. Hopefully really dirty.
And here is the inside of the PnP chamber where the bullet goes.
Looks like its time to start cleaning that chamber. I'm not sure what I'm doing differently, but my chamber still looks new and I haven't cleaned it once? Have you tried w/ o using the bullet a few times?

Wow they updated that tube, I bet the lower splashguard helps keep your mouth dry even if you rip it like a madman!

Must be a few versions/variants to the wt cause my splash guard is real high like JoeKs is, looking flat across the guard the corner of the "P" is the only thing above the top of the splash guard. I also noticed that sometimes more water will lay up in the splash area then other times, can't quite get it figured, I do get sprinkles on my lips now and then.

Had a sitter lastnight so it was bong and sofa time, I kindly request again that you guys make a watertool that works in a more Iaidback position. Having to hover over it has me checking out other options and I'd rather not. Is everyones wt like that, works best perfectly vertical and really suffers at like tv watching angle.

Been swabbing the chamber with a q-tip lightly moistened with iso. Never used it without a bullet. Only thing I can think of is my herb is super good and I put my toys to the test.

The welds on yours are way cleaner! Looks more professional.

Me too.

Been trying the wt more and more with herb on setting 3 and must say it is nice. It cools the vapor down to the point I can get big, easy rips without hurting.

On another note, is it possible that my PonG (the black one) melted a little?

pack it tight and wait one minute after it heats up to the temp you want then hit it. can get clouds if you pull hard and slow. on setting 1 with the WT is very flavorful, light but clouds if drawing long enough.

has anyone found something to put the spare bullet in so flowers wont spill out so you can put it in your pocket or something? Too medicated from using my pn pro with my new worked simba matrix mini tube to think of a fix

I just purchased one of the hydra tubes. Has anyone ever had water leak out the bottom joint? I just want to make sure normal draws wont cause ANY water to leave from the bottom.

Help! My PNPro stopped working last night, it won't heat up. When I press the button, sometimes it starts like it will heat up but then the lights flash amber and it shuts off. Tried it both plugged in and cordless, left it to charge overnight to see if it would reset, but this am same problem. It's acting very funny and I suspect it may be the battery. The blue lights lit up to full, but when I just tried it, it doesn't operate, I pulled the plug, it started to warm up for a minute then the flashing amber and auto shutoff. Now when I plug it back in it goes through an odd flashing light cycle before it shows the blue charging bars and now it only has 3 bars and a blinking 4th bar like it is charging but it was just at 5 full bars.

I'm a little confused and now worried I may have to send this back to TRVB under the warranty. Sucks, I really like this thing. The only thing I've been doing differently since Friday is use it upside down now that my PonG arrived.

Anyone have any help/advice for a new user?

I took my Pro out on the town last night for the first time. Was at a friend's 30 birthday party and we went bar hopping. It worked flawlessly! My wife's best friend tried it as well and she thought it tasted delicious and definitely got the job done quickly and discretely. I really like the piece of mind that I get knowing that it won't turn on in my pocket because of the recessed button. Still lovin it!

I had to send my first unit back because it was malfunctioning. I had to order through the Ebay seller though, as TRVB doesn't ship to my state. I'd say just bite the bullet and send it back. It was a very painless experience and you deserve to have a 100% functioning unit. Good luck!

I'm finding the tighter you pack the bullets the better this vape performs, what do you guys think?

I agree. I actually prefer the bit of draw restriction it adds when you pack it tighter (though its still very easy to draw). Not only do you get to pack more herb in the bullet, I feel like you get bigger hits with a tighter pack. I pack the shit out of my Extreme Q elbows, so I guess its just what I prefer with all my vapes.

always use to pack the solo tight as hell, just pack the PN pro as tightly as you can and youll be just on cloud 9 before you know it.

Not sure if anyone out there is comparing this with the Pax, so I figured I would give my thoughts since I have both.

A bit of background-- Pax was my first vape, got it about a year ago now. It's been used daily since then (until now that its been replaced by this PN Pro and the Ascent).

1. Both are super easy to use. But I gotta break up "easy to use" into different sections. First off, ease of loading. I find the Pax easier to load... Just dump a buncha herb into the oven and use the oven lid to pack it tight. Packing a PN Pro bullet isn't the same. Much harder to do while driving. It requires an extra tool that isn't part of the device in order to pack. Not to mention carrying around another pre-packed bullet without it spilling isn't easy.

Second on the "ease of use" list is ease of vaping. The draw on the PN Pro is much better than the Pax. So much better. With the herb heating up right below the mouthpiece, the PN Pro vapor is nice and warm when it hits the mouth. The temp buttons are SUPER easy to use, compared to having to remove the mouthpiece on the Pax in order to change temps.

Last on the "ease of use" is cleaning and maintenance. Here the PN Pro really sets itself apart from the Pax. Cleaning is simple. And because it is so easy to clean, there is no real maintenance needed... completely opposite of the Pax (which I've had to send back to Ploom 3x, and still suffer from stuck mouthpieces, temp light stuck, etc). The ease of use for the Pax can be VERY hard if the Pax isn't 100% clean and happy. This is the #1 reason why I was looking for a new vape.

2. Taste. The first three hits on the Pax (especially on the low Green temp setting) are great. The rest of the hits, not so much. The PN Pro is better, still on Temp 1, keeping the good taste longer than just 3 hits... but it still falls short on taste at higher temps. Just not as burnt-popcorny as the Pax.

3. Efficiency seems to be close to the same on both. 1 bullet holds about the same as a Pax oven. I can get 2-3 sessions on 1 bullet, and could get about the same from the Pax. One big difference is you have to STIR the Pax to get the most out of an oven... but never with the PN Pro. It cooks perfectly even throughout.

4. Size and durability... They're about the same size, but the Pax being a little smaller. I haven't dropped my PN Pro yet, and hope to never do so, but I have dropped the Pax a couple of times and it has held up to the abuse well. It's a lot lighter than the Pax, making me think a drop on concrete would damage it... but that remains to be seen.

5. Heat. The whole Pax gets hot after a while, even on a low temp. I much prefer the feel of the PN Pro, which gets warm near the top by the bullet, but certainly not too hot to hold (which has happened with the Pax several times), and I usually grip it around the temp buttons anyway, which don't even get a little warm.

6. Battery life. I'm not one to go without charging for a while, but my wife took the Pax on a girl's trip and didn't bring a charger. She lasted 3 or 4 days, with just nightly use on the Pax. Don't know if the PN Pro could do the same. But I like the plugin charger for the PN Pro better than the Pax stand... plus you can use the PN Pro while its charging... no can do on the Pax.

7. I wasn't excited about the 8-minute shutoff, but now that I've seen it in action, it's no biggie. I find that I get more medicated in 8 minutes with this PN Pro vape than 8 mins with the Pax or the Ascent. That being said, I usually find myself turning the PN Pro back on for another 8 minutes at a higher temp setting. The Pax goes into standby mode sometimes DURING a long 30-second draw, which is much more annoying than the 8-min shutoff.

I did not buy the WT when I ordered, but now due to the sale, I might. My problem with it is that I mainly vape in 2 scenarios-- in the car during travel, and lying down on the couch/bed. I know the WT would be nice, but it may not fit in with my vaping habits.

Because the maintenance and cleanliness of the PN Pro are so MUCH better than the Pax, the PN Pro becomes so much easier to use and completely hassle-free. It's stealthy, portable as hell, works like a champ, and versatile enough to make those who want to use oils or a WT very happy. So far, I'm incredibly happy with this PN Pro. The wife has claimed the Ascent (she's a flavor chaser and loves the easy draw). And the Pax now sits in a drawer, only to be used for emergencies from now on.

@TherealVaporblunt and @Engineering I'm having a giant concern tonight. I was using some shatter in my fmj with my pinpro on the highest setting. Well this is what I saw after finishing the session. This was after one 8 minute session.
QHdr47m.jpg

At first I thought it was oil build up but, upon further inspection I realized it's not. It is however a perfect melted groove in my pong creating a lip now trapping my screen in the pong. All I can figure is that the lip of the fmj either sits that tight to the pong or it's pulled up to the pong when being hit. Either way it's absolutely unacceptable to be inhaling melted plastic. Please look into this immediately.

Edit: see the spot where it isn't melted on the right side of my pic? That's where the notch is on the fmj for airflow.

maybe your just letting it sit too long in between hits. try hitting it more often then you usually do.

Cleaning my bullets and PonG piece for the first time by boiling in water.

I am boiling in a small pot of water. Do people just dump them into the pot. Is it possible to overdo it by boiling too long?
