Discontinued The Sublimator

Anyone care to answer what is the bare minimum equipment required to purchase to work with my current glass pieces(18.8mm)? I am not concerned with the reclaim portion at the moment nor for using flowers, just concentrates. Thank you for your time.

If you are heavy on concentrates use, not flowers, then the adapt-a-NAIL kit is what would work best for you... http://www.planetvape.ca/sublimator-adapt-a-nail-kit.html

the apollo adaptabong works with oils, but isn't meant for heavy oil use only.

Just noticed my unit only heats up to 48 watts max now. Not a big deal, if it is settling at this point, but will keep everyone updated if I notice it dropping again.

From what I recall, originally these were rated to run at 45watts, so I am guessing too low wattage is if it runs below performance level.

And you are correct !! I'm loving the short tube much more :ko:

Awesome  Are you using the original tubing? I swapped mine out for a length of silicone I had laying around...found the stock tubing didn't taste that great, even after cleaning. Only downside, is the silicone tends to crimp at the neck.

Originally my Sublimator was pulling 63 watts max. Last night it was pulling about 52 watts. Today it is maxing out at 43 watts. Hope she climbs back...

I hope that your sublimator is still running strong!

My Apollo slowly died, took 1 hour and 30 mins to heat up, half a week later, it took its own life ):

i like that adapter @kingtut106. let us know how ya like it!

I actually decided to go with a custom piece instead of that one, so I don't have to use an extender for the atomizer to fit in the reclaimer. Sam from directglassblowers is hooking me up for something similar to the grav labs reclaimer on PV except with female joints and no drip jar that detaches. I will be able to use it with my vertigo pillar recycler. Video will come immediately after receiving it haha

Add some more room for the reclaim and I think it will be great!

I feel as tho my medication time is way less throughout the day with the UFO. I hit 2-4 bowls depending on my mood and sometimes throw in a double decker. Takes me 10 min usually and im beyond good. Just sendin out the sub love and a plus for anyone torching it!

My sub's running great. I was developing a bit of trouble clearing the bigger tube recently, but not anymore. If the draw is good I have no issue with it at all. Recently the mouthpiece was all gunked up and I didn't realize it, cleaning it really made a difference. That short ufo tube sure is cute though.

The little tube is awesome. I wish they used a stronger plastic...something solvent and scratch resistant would be nice, but I am not sure what the cost would be like. Would also love a little window on the downstem, if that were possible...makes it easier to see how much oil is in there.

+++++ on the down stem. That's why my jar is the only uncoloured part of my reclaim piece!
