Discontinued The Sublimator

I just got my short tube...what a cute little guy. Parts are solid and well built. My only suggestion for @Enrico, would be to consider a stronger material for the threads...the aluminium threads look too easily damaged if taken apart too often.

Other than that, it looks like it will be alot of fun!

I hit a different vape last night and must have tickled some ignored receptors. Very enriching experience. Dusted off my Hammer, btw.

I'm far from the first to say to so, but mixing up vapes can be enlightening. I love my Sub, but I think hitting the same notes with the same vape always can fatigue the same tickle spots. (did I mix enough metaphors for one post?)

Being an early adopter of ecigs, I used paraffin (uncolored candle), and just twirled the alumn threads against the candle enough to 'wax' them. Did the same with my kit I also received today, and it made the threading much easier. I also found (and in the past) that with assembling a 'new' alumn threaded piece to first clean the threads with ISO, then wax the threads, then gradually seat them via turn a little on, back off, a little more, until it fully seats, unscrew, ISO and wax once more, then seat & have at her ;)

Have a video with herb yet? Or was their herb in that chamber as well?

No herbs in it. its high up in function but worst by the tiniest bit than the original. I could take a vid but I need to pick up an iolite screen. (Daryl left mine in the old atomizer and its stuck tight bro. Ripped the screen part off but not the metal)

Why thank you sir. I will give that a go one of these days when I not subli-smashed :ko: That shorty gets my seal of approval. Next time @Enrico is Toronto, he has to find some time to hit the shorty with ole Tweek.

Daryl! :disgust:

That was herb and oil:ko:

And no combusting yet? That's pretty sweet...have you tried the regular sublimator yet? Would be curious for a taste/effect comparison.

Nope haven't tried the sub. Taste is pretty neutral, compared to other vapes. But potency is up there with the cloud. I'd say I'm getting the same sub experience as you guys by looking at vids and such. I just have to pick my sessions more carefully because of the torch.

Initial heat up of the UFO is crucial. I may try stove top later..... Once heated up this can medicate FAST.
If you don't mind torches this is a very great device. Have yet to combust and I have heated the shit out of this thing. Oil needs less heating then herb as well. The tip is very thin and goes red hot fast. The sublimator gives a very different high, and my herbs aren't even that dark, but after trying for a 3rd heat up on one bowl it tastes very cooked. That's another nice thing. One heat up= 2 good hits. Great with a buddy. You an kill a bowl In one heat up essentially. Subbed....:peace:

Edit: My subbd weed smells different then my vaped......weird...smells like its been hit with really high temps but the herbs are still pretty green.

What site do you guys recommend ordering from? I know sublimator.ca is doing their grand opening Sputnik promo but I'm not sure how much I would really use it. Planet vape seems like their customer service would be more consistent but I have no experience with them.

go with planetvape, they're authorized Sublimator sellers on the internet. So Enrico trusts them 100% to deliver the best service.

Tommii,

Over the horizon u can see the edges of the Earth
I get so stoned off so little herb than I used to before with the Volcano. I really like how I'm getting the amber red oil at the end of the tube. Guess I'll buy mine in another two weeks from now.:\

hey there,

finally and with direct advice of enrico himself, ufo and mercury kit (small tube) gave me 3 wonderfull sessions yesterday. it cooked my very small pinch of flower like a charm. the effect is clearly very strong and different.

he gave me also a serious plumber torch and now the heating is another world it works well. big and large brush style blue flame applied on all the ufo (not just the niddle).

The advice i took from hime was:
-never torch during hitting
-torch evenly for 2 min

the fact from session 1.5 : i torched it while inserted in the bowl, i did not have the chain because the nioddle i used did not have a hole of attachement. so i was maneouvering the ufo with leathermann. I torched the ufo for too long i think and the ufo was stuck on bowl, when i lifted it the niddle was not rigid anymore, so an immediate plasticity appeared and the threadings of niddle appeared broken.

Then i finished the job by pulling out all threading of niddle and i took the niddle of the minitube (that i replaced by teflon HA stem) to have an ufo back. What a feature of conception!

the advice i give by experience is :
now, when cold i torch the ufo not properly seated on the bowl, so no more stucking situation.
i am not sure by the effect of the same situation by pulling on ufo by the chain making efforts more axial.

Anyway there is a point where too much torching is too much.

Well folks mercury kit is a real sturdy dabbing station and flower power instant extraction. I cant wait for an appolo of my own.

congrats enrico. great products and customer service.
