That's what I'm hoping. I'm just worried because both pieces of glass I had were too tight and broke (I had a 14mm gong too). Seemed like a heck of a coincidence.

I guess I'll find out as soon as the new ones ship.

No intent to insult you, however since I own an e-Nano, your comment about "never used a log vape before" begs me to ask: which end of the glass wands were you trying to place over the metal stem?

The ends on an individual stem are of slightly different diameters, and the end you should be sliding over the metal heating tube is the one where the screen is closest to it; the glass has been worked and reinforced... the loading end, as it were. The long, open end that you put in your mouth, while it visually looks the same, will not fit over the metal piece.

Just to add another voice here: I had the exact same thing happen to me with the first screenless stem I ordered. The bowl end (and yes, I was using the correct end) seemed to be slightly out of round or something, and I would have to roll the wand in my fingers and apply slight pressure to seat it on the stem. Then I would have to gently shimmy the wand to get it to release. This worked for about a week, and then the head of the bowl cracked and broke, despite my trying to be very gentle with it. So I'm wondering if this is what has happened with 2 Paces.

Incidentally, I took pictures of the broken wand and emailed the Nano folks. They sent me a new stem no charge, and it has worked just fine. No problems with this one at all.

I'm not insulted, but I definitely wasn't using the wrong end. The stem was one with the built in glass screen so it was very obvious which was the 'bowl' end. The other piece was a gong. Again, very obvious which end is the bowl end.

This is EXACTLY how both of mine acted.

Another cool new positive I discovered about my E-Nano no one seems to be talking about...

The resin is fucking awesome! And on the 18mm GonG attachment, it's really easy to reclaim and use. Thank you, E-Nano! :spliff:

2 Paces... glad you took that the right way. Hopefully those pieces were the exception, as I own five (including a 14mm GonG which is a tad snug compared to the four wands) that all have a "jiggle" fit on the heat tube. Why so many?... let's just say "my friends" are accident prone and backups are a necessity.

I hear you on the backups. I ordered 2 new stems, and as soon as I know they fit correctly I will probably order more just to be safe.

It's so sad to look at the Nano and not have any glass to use it with :ugh:

Ahh this is why I have silicone, always got something to lean back on.

Forgive my ignorance, but how do you use silicone with the Nano?

I thought it was glass stem only. I would love to be able to use this before my new stems arrive.

Andy sells some but I just use UD silicone. All you need is 3/8ths inner diameter so it fits the heater core. I have many different silicone bowls because they are so interchangeable! Glass is good for taste but silicone lasts forever, until you feel it's too stained I guess, but I've never com across that.

Ahh, silicone bowls. I don't have any.

I thought you meant there was a way to use silicone tubing (like whips). I have some of that.

Is the clear stuff used for whips also ok to use, or does it have to be that more rigid cloudy colored stuff they show on that site?

I figured out how to do it earlier, but I didn't know if it is ok to put the softer stuff on the hot tube...

Thanks for the help.

It has to be high temp silicone, normal whip silicone doesn't work, unless it is rated.

My problem was that I couldn't get the stem on at all without some force. Once they were on there was some play (like the GIF you showed), but what broke both pieces was the force required to get them on the stem. The metal tube was bigger than the opening in the glass (from what I could tell).

I ordered 2 new stems from Epicvape. I'm really hoping the glass I had was the problem, and the new stems will have me up and running soon.

Hi, just a thought, were you putting herb in the correct end of the stem and trying to put it on?
When I first got my nano I really wasn't sure which end of the stem I needed to load and had to check with Andy that I should use the end of the stem with a lip aroun the edge for loading.
I found I could get the other end of my glass on but it was tricky and at least I didn't try when the unit was on.
Anyway was just a thought to check your using the right end of the stem for loading.

Someone else asked me that above. I definitely wasn't using the wrong end. The stem I had was with a glass screen, so it was obvious to me which end to use. Also, neither end fit on my tube (I checked out of curiosity). The gong that broke was also obvious to me which end was the 'bowl'.

I just hope Andy starts shipping stems soon. I'm really anxious to see if new ones fit without breaking. So far I'm 0 for 2, and my Nano just sits there unused...

On the same boat here. Both the upgraded all glass stem and the GonG stem broke the same way.....
Fitting tolerance between the rim and heating core is pretty tight and the Nano is a heating beast :)
Tight plus hot= broken stems :(

Before I got my Gong, I would just hold my glass stem to the heater, I would not really try to work it onto the heater. Sometimes it would slip on, but while I was still in hyper learning phase, I didn't really try to.

Now, the GonG I have no trouble with at all... it sits in the bubbler, and I invert the Nano onto it.

When the glass gets hot, it may expand a tiny little bit, and slip easier. Not for sure, but that's how it feels to me when I use the stems.

There seems to be some people having problems with the glass. Anybody who has had a problem recently, Email me a pic of your broken glass with your name and address and I'll send replacements.

This forum rocks. Because of the above suggestions, I ended up getting some hi-temp silicone tubing and fashioned a bowl for the Nano.

I've been hitting the Nano for a couple hours, and it is absolutely killer. I cannot believe how much vapor this pulls out of such a small amount. It is smooth & tasty even with a silicone tube and metal screen and no glass.

Thanks to everyone here for the high praise & recommendations you have given this device. The Nano definitely deserves it.

So I'm hanging out marveling at how well this thing hits with a makeshift bowl, and looking forward to using it with glass. Then I get an e-mail from Andy saying my stems are in the mail

My night just went from great to EPIC.

Almost there...
@ataxian

I have regressed and found something awesome!!!
I said earlier to never grind for the nano... That worked really well till now but i have a better technique!! It also saves herb and stretches that one nug further!

Set the Nano to 6,5 and let it heat up really well, if the outside is not nice and warm it is not ready.
I grind using my free Storz&Bickel orange grinder.
So instead of using a nug, grind it up to a medium grind and dump on paper or glass.
Vacuum up about 3mm of material into a glass screen stem with an extra mesh screen.
Place on heater tube and inhale.
The flavour is awesome and yo should get a good 4 hits out of that bit of bud.

I usually get 2 to 3 sessions from the same nug that i would have done in one stem!
Pairing it with my Pinnacle WT does a fantastic job! Especially with hot water.

This vape is really an amazing tool!!!
Very versatile and can be used in so many ways!

I've been mixing it up.

Some loads whole nugs.
Some loads medium grind. (glass daisy screen)

6.5 - 7.0

Getting some new glass for this thing as well.
My glass works well however I get bored.

What strain are you vaporizing?

I have a few however the WHITE WIDOW taste amazing in the NANO!

Originally I had this strain in the early 90's at a coffee shop in HOLLAND.
