Sad news ... JJ Cale passed away at 74 ... Heart attack

A musician I truly admired ... Saw him at a small venue in Toronto (at the Pheonix) about a decade ago ... One of the best concerts I've been to (mind you I was like a kid in a candy store I was so excited to be getting to see him!)

Damn. Sorry to hear that. I was on a JJ Cale kick yesterday oddly enough. I'd just added "Delbert McClinton" to my Pandora, and I got a bunch of great JJ Cale tunes. He will be missed.

This was super sad news indeed. I was seeing Phish at the Gorge when I heard the news. Everyone there knew that there'd be a fantastic 'after midnight' at some point in the evening...

Very cool vid. He was a great artist and I'm sure will be missed.
