Arizer Solo

Krizzle

Hi Very high
Very nice , Krizzle .
I've been wanting to try the ABV too , but wasn't sure if it will be worth it tho .
I forgot to mention earlier , the reason why I'll be making more qwiso .
It's because it's more potent , it's like concentrated THC in a drop , I'm guessing .

I use a flat head screwdriver as my dabbing tool for now . ( as shown in my pics )
Get some goo on the end , heat up the stem part of the screwdriver to conduct the heat down
to the goo . And watch it drip onto the pile of herb , that way , you don't actually set flame to the oil .
Then I wipe the rest off on another pile .

It's the Solo's version of a ' double decker ' ...

I have a dab picker tool thing that came with the green containers. Didn't think of heating it up to get the oil moving however :) great idea will try that later as I am struggling to get the stuff into my GonG adapters. So you just drop the goo onto some herb then sort of roll it together with your fingers before putting it into a bowl? I need more practice with this oil :smug:

Ya , you can roll it with your fingers if you want to , it can get sticky tho .
But I prefer to grab a pinch of herb and put it on top of the drip to cover it .
Then I inhale it up with the stem . I always try to make sure the oil drip is closer to the stem part
than the heating chamber . So once the oil starts to melt and soak into the herbs , it won't stain
the chamber .

Having said that , I still have to clean the chamber with iso/qtip+screen scrubbing , to keep it
shiny clean . Place a screen inside the chamber , get a qtip/iso , and use the qtip/iso as a stir stick
and swirl and scrub the heating chamber with the screen . It works like a Charm .

So I got the vapecase with extra storage. Unfortunately, the foam is not glued all the way on the top tray, and I have emailed the vendor.

Note this is not the standard vapecase, it has two trays... and I found it by accident at amazon. Can't seem to find it anywhere else...

Otherwise, while its a bit snug, it can hold my fbomb, extra stems, screens and o rings in the bottom tray, the top is the standard tray of solo vape cases. Very snug on the compartment of the stock charger. It since I don't use it, I squeezed it in there and will only use if needed...

I will use a bag for Pipe's AIO when traveling.

I've been putting a single serving size on a razor blade and popping it in the freezer for a few minutes. Easy to drop in to a prepared GONG and keeps the glass clean. ABV gets saturated with oil and popped in the ABV jar. Easy-peasy. :2c:

I'm not a fan of the silent mode personally. I always need a second session with the solo but find by the end of the first 12 minutes I sometimes drift off and forget what I was doing so the beep is a great reminder for me.
I do kind of feel like Pavlov's dogs though, I was watching a YouTube video the other day and heard the beep in the video and instinctually reached for my solo even though I didn't have it out

Anyone else use their solo with silicone tubing? I attached my 3ft mflb whip to the stem (fits perfectly) last week and haven't used it without since.

On a side note me and my buddy did a kief, hash and oil sandwhich with a small layer of herb on the bottom to keep it all together, lasted 4 sessions before I turned it off, and today the whip reeks so bad, time for an ISO wash

Only problem I had was that he used a 2nd rate carrier (lasershipping..guess that's why it was free shipping?) they delivered it to my neighbors house across the lake. Luckily they called me and I picked it up. Unit was flawless though.
Shipping to one of my neighbors could definitely pose a problem for me. My cover would be blown;-)

that's where I got mine, no issues at all, quick shipping but I haven't had any warranty issues (bad charger but I just replaced it myself) so I can't say if he will actually honor the warranty like he says.
Claiming to honor the manuf. warranty on his auctions, then refusing to do so, would be stupid for a dedicated eBay seller. He claims over 700 Solos sold and has very good feedback. He's clearly interested in being a long term reputable seller, vs. ripping a few people off.

The eBay seller I'd avoid is 'myrubberneck'. This guy has claimed to be an authorized seller for various models in the past when he wasn't, and in at least one case, he claimed to be an authorized seller and was advertising a model for sale that hadn't been released to any distributors yet.

I did not know that it was a Manufacturer's Life time warranty on the heater itself .
But still only 1 year on the battery , and without the battery , you just have a dead unit . ( room decor )
2 years on Parts & Labor ? After 1 year what parts would you be sending in to fix , if you have a dead Solo ?

What am I missing here ?
Are batteries covered for 2 years now ?
Can someone clarify the reason for the 2 year warranty ?

Solo Vaporizer Warranty
The Solo features a two year manufacturer’s warranty, restricted to normal use. Due to quality craftsmanship, the Solo’s Heating Element is backed by a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty and the lithium battery is covered by a one year warranty.

I see that ,
Did you see the guy in the vid inhale from the bottom end to take a hit ?
How would that work in the Solo inserted ?
Wouldn't the oils drip thru the opening ?
the vid you were watching was just the top of the microdab. Any normal oil jar will fit directly into your solo and that is what the microdabber bottom is. I believe it is like that white one.

Quite a few vape makers have a lifetime warranty on the heater (only). That's because ceramic elements are extremely long lasting and reliable.

But still only 1 year on the battery
That's actually pretty good. I've seen 6 months for some other models.

If my battery is giving me less and less of a working charge as time goes on, to the point where eventually it's not long enough to be of practical use, I'm going to get a battery replacement if I like using the vape. If it's within a year it's covered. If not, I'd contact the manuf. and find out how much they charge for a new bat, and decide then whether I want to pay for a replacement bat or not. If it quits working and you're not sure it's the battery's fault, and you send it in, and the battery is the issue, they'll either replace the bat, if it's within one yr. of purchase, or let you know it needs a new bat and you'll have to pay for it because it's over a year old and no longer covered. If it's not the battery and still within the 2 yr. warranty, you get a warranty repair and the parts and labor are both covered.

There's nothing weird about these warranty terms, either in the vaporizer or electronics industry.

Right so as I understand it most newer solos lose charge slowly when in pa mode but so far I am yet to lose a light on my m1a had my pa for 3 or 4 days now I think and put my dB away soon as I go the pa also am I ok to just pull the solo out from the pa or wait for the solo to tern off

Guys can anyone tell me the technique to collect the resin from my stems...also how do u guys use it..do u jus smoke it or use it back in Solo
My favorite way is to make a cup of coffee and drink through the stem using extra cream and milk (body can absorb the MJ goodies better).

I dont like extracting with iso since its more tedious and I dont like the idea of introducing iso to my MJ.

Do most Solos form a vacuum making it hard to draw? I have to struggle to sip enough vapor to blow a cloud, is that the MO of this vape? It's very efficient due to the restricted airflow and it does produce clouds. Using about 1/4 of my typical VXC ELB, maybe .1 or .2 grams. Any technique to increase airflow producing heavier hits?

Its possible your used to inhaling at a higher rate due to your other units? With the solo I (and many others) have found that its best to take a very slow mellow inhale. The restriction almost tells you that you are trying to inhale too quickly.

I had to get a new scale to weigh solo bowl. For me a normal filled to the top unpacked grinded bowl weighs ~.06g. Most scales only go to .1 so it was not even registering with my old scale.

Still digging the MK tube btw
