That's the one, they don't sell the tubing/mouthpiece anymore. It says less than a week wait, they were going to have their glass guy make some when the vapor bros minis ran out. Looks like you'll have to wait a week or so!

I also thought it would be a week wait til they came in, but then, I read in the description:

"This is the final batch of the Vaporbrothers "mini-whip" made exclusively for the Vapor Brothers vaporizer. Once they are gone, they are gone."

So I'm confused on whether they will re-stock. Tried shooting them an email twice so I could clarify but I don't know if their contact page was working correctly.

I did snag one and she's a beauty.

Vbeazy, can we get your review of the mini? Check that link, less than a week wait. I love my mini, I fill it about 1/2 way loosely and it vapes down to less than 1/4.

Thnx Cluffy :)
Just spoke vaporwarehouse and made an order. They said the $9.99 wands were from their own blower , they have them but discontinued them as they are getting the VaporBrothers ones in tmoro which they are selling for $12.99.
They could not have been more helpfull either they ship to UK with no problem and was very polite even though i got the time zones wrong and phoned him at 8am :)

That's nice to know they're re-stocking! I was cheap and wish I bought a spare or two.

Cluffy I wish I could review it - and I will soon, right when I receive my SSV. My order was delayed quite some time on it (I think they were testing products very thoroughly at 7th Floor ;) ) and I got the wand before the vape. The vape should be mailed today.

I would test it on the VB, but she is a hands free. Hopefully I receive the standard SSV and not hands free - otherwise I'll have to order a heater cover and wait to try it out!

At a glance the wand looks great though. It will likely become my go-to when vaping alone. I like to conserve and while vapes do that well, a whip isn't as conserving as say a log vape. It looks like it can hold just the right amount, or more than you need, without any trouble.

VES: I've always had great service with VB, they're top notch in that department!

I was hard pressed to decide where to post this... The DBV thread would have been good....
The LSV thread also was a good place, but I am so at home here in this thread.....
ssvlsv.jpg

Parts needed- LSV HC & transfer wand(long or short)
Here is my SSV.
You can see it has it's Spherical HC removed, and on table next to it.
All glass vapor path! ;)

Hh, nice picture Vito...
I have been there but came back to traditional HC quite fast cause I don't like dealing with a double screen setting to make sure nothing falls on the heater and the position for my living room was not the best!

What I still do from time to time:
When I lay down on my sofa in front of the TV...I put my SSV on my plexus... Use the long transfer wand as a standard SSV wand...it works like a champ, it "respects" gravity, no need to change the HC and is easily stirable+ you can move it like the traditional wand on the standard HC...the seal is respected and it works perfectly!!!

Another thing I have been considering: put the LSV's HC again, put a screen in the male end of one of my Tamers (to use it as a bowl) and use it as the LSV's transfer wand, directly hooked to your modified SSV...isn't that a badass 100% glass & cooled air path?? :D

I put my hot aroma top down on a wet counter, after almost two years of being careful with it... and it did crack.
They used to cost more but 7th Floor lowered the price, and came out with a new kind also. The new ones are $19.99, and are taller to accommodate more easily the custom HCs and spherical connections.
The Old type are on sale for 5.95.. a price right up my alley, and I use the standard HC anyway.
Since they were cheap, and I only had to pay shipping once, I bought 2!

As always the service was fast (48 hours).
I am glad to have my "olfactory game" back!

Daaang $6!? That's crazy. I've been waiting to get one of those until i have an extra $70 so I can get a new base also. What are some of your guys favorite scents?

Also, ocean blue is dark blue base, right? I noticed there's blue and ocean blue. I'd feel like a huge jackass if I ended up buying the wrong one.

I don't use the wax melts. I know people like them, but I use essential oils.
Lavender is wonderful to use by itself, as is lemon.
I mix alot also...
patchouli, , cedar, and some of the thicker oils... even myrh.

Whats up SSV dudes!

I just got mine in the mail and can't wait to try it.

One question... before first use should I heat it up for 30 mins on max temp to get rid of some of the "chemical" stuff from production?

Hey :), Im decided for the SSV. I have read good reviews about this vaporizer and users from this forum recommended me this unit. The only one bad thing that I have read about the SSV is that for small amounts of Cannabis the SSV is not very efficient because the wand is big and is good for big amounts but not for small. I think I have read that you can use a Mini Wand with the SSV to get a similar Log Vape efficiency rate. What do you think about that? Thank you in advance ;)

I Have never had any problem due to the SSV wand size... I can use tiny pinches in it as well...
I did try the mini wand, and I loved it!
Cluffy had been talking about the mini whip (actually mainly the mini wand) from Vapor Warehouse. Mini Whip/VaporWarehouse
DSC00461.jpg

The mini wand does allow even tinier hits to go a good long way.
This wand is only about as fat around (inner diameter) as a cigarette.. and it has a good draw!
I think it is worth trying, and the guys at Vapor Warehouse are very cool!

So I ended up with a spherical connection SSV. I can't use the Mini VB wand yet. That's okay, I'll be ordering the standard HC soon! It turns out the mini wand works okay on the hands free VB despite what they claim, so I did get a taste of it, and I can't wait!

Anyway let's see some more porn surfin'!

It's got a red theme that's growing on me, but time to customize!

I'll tell you the spherical has grown on me, it's mainly the look that I wasn't fond of. There was more of a learning curve then expected.

Questions.. does the oil diffuser really keep the unit hotter? So approx what temp do you use your unit at with it on? The book says it gets hotter but I find it hasn't after a day or two of use.

Can I put room temp oil in the hot tray while it's on the vape? They say not to.

Turn the SSV down over night?

I have found that I can keep my dial set to noon when the aromatop is on... with it off, I gravitate to 12:30. so I would believe that the aroma top potentially could keeping the heat in at least a bit.
I found that the "draw" sound is muffled with the top on as well.
My aroma top is on 24/7. I drip room temp oils directly in regularly and have for over a year.
I recently broke an aroma top that had been on and heating for 18 months... stupidity on my part.
I was going to clean it so I removed it. I was on my way to get alcohol, and when the phone rang I set the top down on the counter into a puddle of ice water. I heard the crack... it stayed solid, but I could see the line of fracture deep within... so I ordered new.
I turn mine to low but not OFF when I go to bed. I crank it to noon when I wake up (dial settings may vary).
In a couple of days you won't remember the learning curve.
Very nice looking unit too!

Thanks Vito, I'm comfortable dripping oils on it now. I'm sorry you cracked a dish., luckily it wasn't a big loss.
I'm going to turn it down at night, I do that with my VB also.

I'll get used to the temps soon and forget all about it!

The oil dish pictured is the old style discounted $6 version. I figured why pay for the new one. I got clear so I could see the heater cover.. it was a toss up with black!

I'm glad you like the colors but it's a little bold for me. I'm ordering a black base. Even a custom knob!

Hi all! Just registered and wanted to thank everyone for the amazing information here on FC. I think this may be the most civilized and intelligent forum I've found on the web (on any topic!)

Anyway, I'm up to page 73 of the SSV thread--skipped just a few pages here and there but reading everything for the most part.

I just recently decided on the SSV over the Extreme Q. I started reading about the LSV also, which sounds like it has some advantages over the SSV in terms of taste, but I think the tabletop form factor of the SSV is what I'm looking for. I'll be using it alone and with a 500ml straight tube Ehle w/ice notches (hope it's not too big for vaping, but I can't afford another bong or bubbler just yet).

Now I just have to finish reading the thread (!) and then choose a color scheme. I was thinking the silver may be too plain but I like those pics above, and it's the least expensive option. Maybe silver with a black base: very MacBook Pro. Actually, just as an aside, the SSV strikes me as more of a Mac and the Extreme Q more of a Windows PC. Nothing pejorative meant by that about either the EQ or Windows--I just happen to be an Apple fan, and I like to think the SSV would have appealed to Steve Jobs if he vaped. RIP Steve. :(

The other colors I'm conisidering for the housing are red and Rainbow Zen. I like the idea of a high-gloss finish, but some of the pics of the red on 7th Floor's site look like the red is matte. Anybody have a red SSV to confirm matte or glossy? (And I have no idea what the "Burgundy Splatter" is!?)

The Zen is tempting, though! Does it look more-or-less like glossy black when it's in the shade?

Wow, contemplating my SSV purchase is exciting--only thing better will be using an SSV, I suspect! :D

I got my red SSV new with the travel bag off ebay for just over $200. Yes, it's a matte finish which i highly prefer to the glossy finish. It came with the GonG heater cover/wand and the base color was random. Turns out I got yellow. They called the red/yellow color combination 'Happy Meal.' I'll be ordering a new base and standard heater cover/wand but it was an excellent $200 investment. Of course, if you've got the cash. I'd go ahead and get it directly from 7th Floor so you can customize it just the way you want.
