Niiiiice.

Gotta get me a straight up tube style pipe one of these days. Australia fares so poorly when it comes to quality glass pieces.

That's what I'm talking about....our VWTs are nice and extremely functional, but there is just something about pulling blue vapor through sick tubes like that! It's for pulls like that one that Vrip has always been modular and retro-fittable. Nice find quomist.

That's pretty similar actually. I ordered the diffuser stem for my watertool and look forward to trying out the heatwand.

Yeah I'm getting a few VWT pro heatwand kits with next order, and a couple of the diffuser downstems and GonG VCBS. :) Can't wait to get it milking.

These vrips are so damn good, unless you try one you just don't realise how good it can be to have full flavour vapour. I'd have to suggest that anyone going back to incinerating their cannabis after using these VHW's is juicing the piglet big time. :brow:

Ya, I ordered the diffuser downstem with my recent VH Wand. What are the typical delivery wait times on these wands. I ordered on Nov. 7

Well I've found it's a bit of hit and miss, depends on when Mark is available mostly. Keep poking both Mark and Shadowvape and you should get an answer eventually.

Ordered Nov. 7.

Still no vaporizer or any response to e-mail. Hrmmm...I thought this is all Mark and his employee does.

This thing looks like a blast. Wish I had the cash to blow on one and a nice glass piece to go with it. I doubt my baby bong would be a good fit.

You're actually good with small water tools. VripTech used to carry a mini VWT but the demand wasn't justifying the complexity so discontinued. Mark still has a stash and uses them for travel but we don't actually sell them anymore. I can attest that they enable a very concentrated delivery. Not as moisture conditioned as with the full size VWTs, but extremely concentrated streams of vapor because the tube is smaller. As a different approach to the "mini" VripTech will be debuting the VWT BuB which is a small simple and effective bubbler that has a detachable mouth piece and uses the GJDS accepting a 14.4mm bowl just like on the VWT PerK or as some users run on the VWT Pro. This way the same bowl and downstem could work for both a "home" tool and a "road" tool.

VaporMonkey if you still haven't got tracking or a back order notification hit us up with a re-send to info@vriptech.com on the sales receipt with a request for tracking and I'll look into it and make sure you get an answer. We've been backordered on the VHW covers required for every VHW now a couple of weeks or more for the past couple of months at least and are just getting fully caught up after this next weeks shipping (fingers and toes crossed don't blame the messenger) as long as people would stop ordering. LOL... Oh, wait...don't do that people...but seriously your order should have shipped if from 11/7 assuming it processed OK so I feel your pain and will get you an answer quick if we haven't already. Oh, and man would that be nice....I, we wish!

Had my first casualty last night. Was having a nice long draw on the vhw, (some lovely AK47) and then I heard a "tink" sound and immediately knew something wasn't right. Turned it down, put it back in its holder to cool, and unplugged it. I could see immediately that the inner glass sheath had popped clean off the base. :(

Luckily for my lungs I have a spare wand here, and a heatgun and VCB setup should the worst arise. It certainly served me well for the short time it was in service, and it will be sorely missed. Should be right as rain though with a replacement cover which I'll be sure to send for with my next order. :)

But on a lighter note, feel free to quote me Shadow, and make sure you include "juicing the piglet" or it just doesn't pull together. :p

My last order of 5 wands unfortunately had to include two european units to make up for the lack of Australian wands. This is a result of popularity I think. :) But with a travel adapter for these units it should be fine as they run the same voltage as us only different plugsets. I think you guys are going to be doing a bit of business down here in Oz if I've got anything to say about it anyway. :p May want to stock up on VHWA with your next manufacturing run. ;)

Any chance of a pic of these or still in the conceptual stages? Sounds very nice.

BioJuggernaut I believe Mark said your heater was received and transported to the tech but I haven't heard back on its state of repair...I'll check in/remind him today as he often meets the tech on Mondays and he is just back from Thanksgiving Holiday. Luke....ahhh SNAP....good thing you had an extra cover...as Mark has advised me to point out "spares are a good idea" because once you go Vrip it's hard to go Rip or anything else for that matter and well glass is glass. I'm sure we'll cover that one under warranty because of where it broke indicates that it was either a less than ideal seal in what is an extremely difficult spot to seal and/or the hole was a tad high making for a tight fit that puts extra load on that seal. Either way it will be covered and you'll get a new cover coming behind your last order...do me a favor and send the same pics to the info@vriptech.com general email if you haven't already so I can get Mark to approve a warranty replacement.

No worries mate, thanks for that. Will shoot a link to the pics off to you later today. No rush, I've got plenty of units heading my way at the moment anyway. :)

Just had a thought, you know what would be really cool? Pics or vids of the glassblowers making these.

Well, I got da VHW and have used it a couple sessions and here's my first impressions.
I always use the wand turned up all the way. I'm so used to the heat gun it never feels like it's getting air hot enough as only about a third of the element, towards the tip seems glowing. However I am getting some pretty good clouds of blue smoke. White smoke and burning your herbs in general seems almost impossible and I've noticed it's easier on my lungs and probably not as harmful to vape this way. Also, yes there is a decidedly different taste pattern as well. Reminds me of the old Eterra log vape hits. The problem with the heat gun is that it's too easy to over vape your gear.

What I do is save all my VHW vaped hits and they make about two bowls of heat gun vape. That is for a slightly higher temp heat gun vape to finish off what the wand missed. I find using the two together like this is the best most healthful way to vape. I was getting too much white and not enough blue vape with the heat gun alone.

*Addition-Yes, I find the thin blue hits of the VHW not only healthier, but more potent as well. Going from smoking to Vaping is sort of like going from the heat gun to the heat wand. At first you don't think your getting enough sort of thing. After I'm done with a heat wand session I can get several sweet hits off the remnants with the gun but the vape is more white than blue and I wonder if a fella should even vape this at all or just cook with the remnants.

Heat heats up faster and holds it's heat better if it rests in a rather tight glass cup like the one Vriptech sells. I'm gonna head over to Wally World tomorrow and get one in the glass/candle department area. Once the unit is heated up, it provides almost perfect temperature vapes and there is no air restrictions when inhaling. I only use my unit plugged into my Panamax outlet and unplug it after each session and set it aside to cool.

Sure does, I'm getting smoke out of mine on full temp after it's been resting in the champagne flute style holder. I haven't figured out temps yet so haven't turned it down and played with it a bit more.

These holders are awesome by the way, I wasn't sure about them just looking at the pics but they are heavy and solid - highly recommend them!

Happy to report, just got BOTH of my wands back (2.0 and 3.0) after another great, friendly and easy experience with Mark and Shadow. Holy mother of blue vapor, so happy to have them back. I like having 2.... life is crazy and you never know if one might break during an earthquake or unexpected ninja attack, so it's a good idea to have a back-up ;)

Regardless of any issues anyone is having, nothing compares to these things, so it doesn't matter. Get a good surge protector, a nice place to cradle the wand on your coffee table, and enjoy. The customer service is better than one could expect from most products out there, period.

What I cannot emphasize enough is the simple fact that NOTHING compares to the sheer impact of the VHW that I have ever tried, and I have used every single top end vaporizer between my buddies and I sharing and comparing (waiting on the Cloud to step into the ring tho ;) ). When used correctly and OPTIMALLY, the wand creates a fucking freight train of cool, smooth deliciousness injected directly into your face that will hit you like a shit-ton of bricks, haha, no foolin. I've been surviving on my iolite and vaporgenie since I sent my wands out and the difference in impact is so hilariously different.
