Discontinued VRIPtech Heating Wand

They are the best vrip slides available, and they work great with the Extreme if you have extra silicone laying around. (I took mine off my wand as soon as I got it, that's why I had extra silicone) My wand has been broke about 3 months, with the Extreme BM combo I haven't missed it much.

My conclusion on the wand failure issue is the stand itself or the mug you may use to put it in. It puts way too much stress on the cord causing the inevitable failure of the wand. My tip is to make a aluminum boat, or better yet carve a wooden one that you can set it on without putting stress on the cord. This is not for heater failure related issues, this is for people who's wands won't even turn on (no red light flickering)

Snowta I would love one that works WITH the silocone ring - I feel it offers the heater cover some measure of protection. I guess I can contact BM about that hehe.

NoSmoke, try the desktop mic stand.

You don't need to take the silicone off to use it. I left mine on for awhile just incase I ever used the vcb again. It makes the seal on the tapered end of the wand and never comes close to touchin the silicone.

Just waiting until I can find someones credit card to order this, and I'm pretty damn excited. I have one quick question I've been noticing after I smoke lately I cough up flem with some black in it, will that happen with this vape?

New slide showed up today new wand yesterday. It's been a loooong time since I've got to use this thing and first hit was super tasty just like I remembered. It doesn't seem to be getting as milky but I'm still blowing huge clouds. I'm starting at about half power and work my way up as needed. I'm getting 10+ huge rips off ~.2g which isn't bad at all. New screens have waaay too much airflow and there's tiny gaps that herb falls through until you get some wand hash goin in there. It's weird how they like to be dirty....

bonsai - I am a heavy daily smoker. I vaped years ago, but not at all in 3-4 years. I coughed up black stuff all the time. I cough quite a bit when I combust - nearly every hit. After I smoked I would cough for an hour or so from throat irritation. EVERY single one of these symptoms was gone after a few weeks of vaping. Even bong vaping with a 26" bong and hash.

Snowta, I actually WANT my VHW + silicone ring to fit inside the rim of the bowl. Or at least to have the silicone contact the bowl and NOT the VHW glass. Just my preference, I think of it as protection from glass on glass damage since the wand is able to be twisted. Holy crap your efficiency is amazing Snowta! I don't really vape from low temp to high with the VHW (although I do with the HA) so I will try that!

So I've been vripping! - I've had the VHW for a good 5-6 months - daily and I was wondering if there is any news about VRIPTECH bringing out a new product - n'e time soon? Anyone know n'e thing I'd appreciate some info.

I personally love the VHW, but I would want to get a second head wand if there were one from VRIPTECH.
I'd like to give out some personal feedback - maybe Vriptech appreciates and could use some FREE costumer feedback/review.

- How about a charging deck that acts like the mug? *heating*
It would be cool if it was wireless and running on a rechargable battery cell
- I like the size its good because you can whack someone with it when their being annoying!
- A on and off button
- Maybe make the dial-wheel more sensitive - so you can actually feel when you are turning down or up on levels. And also it would be nice to have a better indication on which direction to turn the wheel - high + low -
- Maybe the holes on the glass part could be a bit smaller - where the air is being drawn in too.
I feel that I would need to pack my bowl to get a stronger draw. When I have to stir - alot of skuff is stirred on to the screen and clogs it faster. Packing loosely would be better in my opinion and smaller holes would compensate for the packing.

No bad intentions or n'ething - just really would like to see what VRIPTECH comes up with next.....
I've also noticed that they have changed some details on their website.
They've indicated they are now VRIPTECH International - does this mean better / cheaper shipping within EU?

HerbalSquirrel - I talked to Mark a couple months ago and they were working on many small and large improvements to the lifespan of the product. For example, they are working on a new heating element that only gets hot at the tip. Also working on improving the build and quality of the glass heater cover.

The led will come on and go off like it is getting up to temp but the heating element never even gets warm!!

That sounds like a bad heater. I had the same problem. Shoot them an email they should be able to help ya out

Hadn't used my VHW much in a while. Used it the last three nights in a row and man, i forgot how vripped this thing can get you. It's the best way to get that perfect taste from your favorite strand. I was just vripped out of my mind but did 3 solo bowls last night. i wanted to try three strands and compare the taste. TKO. as stated before, not the easiest to use, and not the most durable. but you can't argue with those perfect milky vapor tokes.

Hey Thanks! That sounds F**** Awsome I'm glad that they are considering bringing out a new product on the market!! Lets see and hope that the price won't be too high.

I am just so scared to one day plug in my VHW and find out that it isn't working n'e more. I don't think i'd consider another vaporizer over a vriptech product. Gotta love the all glass on glass / bong hit!

My heater went out within the first month but mark priority shipped me a new element and I soldered it on. After that the wand made it 10-11 months after the element before something else went out.

My old heatercover was waaaay off center too which I didn't like. Vrip has got alot better in that regard

Thinking about ordering a heatwand setup for my first vape purchase in many years, have the various issues been solved with them? I'm in Oz and some of the early ones a friend got weren't wired correctly, and I have heard about cracking and failing wands before as well...

Hopefully I can be reassured that the early release issues with these units have been fixed. Otherwise I'll just get the heatgun VCB and go with that.

well if you are trying to spend under 200$ the vhw is where its at. if the heating element goes out outside the warranty its only 30$

Cloud refers to the Vape Xhale Cloud which is coming out soon. There's a thread on it.

Thanks mate, will look into it. Just did a mock checkout basket with vrip and it's looking like it's only really worth my while to get a full VWT and VCB kit, due to the 35USD postage to this sunburnt country.

Paid for the VHW on 4.19 2010. Received on 4.28.10, have been using non stop since then.

Heavy smoker, would HIGHLY suggest to anyone who wants an EXTREMELY effective vape-bong experience.

Was on the fence for a long time about buying this, seeing as it seemed to be an expensive upgrade from my VaporBros to bong set up. Once I finally decided to make the purchase, I was so happy and really should have just done it all along.

It seems to be very sturdy, and works very well.
