You're right that the persei is a mod and is replaceable, just like carts are. But I think the Persei is indeed in a higher class than the vast majority of mods out there, alongside the Cera.

ahhh ok. well that may be the case but in this thread with this juice there are many options available at a much better price point.

I'm really intrigued by this product and the prospect of liquidizing concentrates. Pretty close to pulling the trigger. I'd love to hear some thoughts and opinions on the Ejvape/infinite wick included in this kit rather than discussion on the persei/other units.
I use my EJVape batteries daily:tup:, as for the infinite wick, it is still an invaluable tool in my process because it allows me to sample a very small amount to analyze the flavor of a new batch. I have simply moved on to winterizing and loading a larger capacity setup for daily on-the-go usage.

Honestly I love the EJ Pen. It's a great device but serves a very different purpose then something like the Persei. When it comes to concentrates or oils like the liquidizer produces, the Persei is a bit of overkill. The EJ pen is easy to hide, it's great for on the go when you want to be discreet and all your looking for is something to toke on here and there.

The Persei is bigger, much heavier and when using it's wick cartomizer (the CE4) comparatively speaking versus the EJ it's like putting up a fucking mustang against Bugatti Veyron. The Persei is a cloud machine, pulling juice on it makes vapor pour from every orifice of my body. Not something I'm taking to the movies with me.

I also love the fact the EJ Pen is fucking super simple. It's one button! Really can't fuck it up once you get the hang of filling the fucker. The Persei is a modular - I can barely understand the jargon in that thread. It's like trying to play with the smart kids - didn't work for me in HS, not working well for me now either. IMO - this is a much easier crowd to chill with.

The other thing you guy's have to understand about the Persei - IT FUCKING EATS YOUR OIL AND FLOWERS. I mean it, unless you have access to unlimited flowers that shit gets expensive. Remember, more horse power = more fuel. It burns through oil like KFC.

I would love to hook up the guy's from Liquidizer with G from W9 Tech. They could probably throw some great ideas at each other.

so ive been using a protank 2 with my mix and it works amazing. the only negative is that its well too big for the amount of mix i load and just too large overall IMO. ive been looking into the protank mini and other "mini" glass tanks, but then i have to use eGo threads of which means an adapter in my case.

been looking at the liquidizer infinite wick and clearomizer, but not interested in using plastic really.

what about tanks with cartomizers? will this mix work well in a tank with a cartomizer instead of a bottom coil? i ask because cartotanks can be found very slim and with 510 threads. so i guess im asking is will the mix feed and wick well with a cartotank setup...? or is a bottom coil setup really the only way to go?

mvapes:

Do you buy a CADILLAC or VW?

OMICRON if your worried about fuel.

PERSEI is a luxury item more like a BENTLEY.

We don't need one however their nice to drive.

OPHOS will do the job even.

Kind regards,

ataxian

I use the PERSEI at home.
The OMICRON or OPHOS while boating!

If I'm spending this much time to make my Ejuice I wouldn't want to use it up in one setting.

Anyway, as much as I am a tech/pen junkie, I would love to discuss but let's get back to the subject of Liquidizer and E-Juice. Any awesome stories?

I did manage to go to HempFest Seattle and passed around my EJuice (I admit that I filled half a cart in one of my other devices) and people were blown away. And of course I loved the reactions and responses.

Great Scott!
I did a batch of blue dream today with a 300ml can of Stok. I am letting it sit a bit and air purge for now until I get it on the heat in a couple days or whenever I have the time. So far just hot water purged it, mixed it with everclear, swirled it around and poured onto my slickmat. I'll let it evap some more and whenever I get the time throw it on the electric griddle to evap the last of the everclear.

Looks good.

I almost forgot! I picked up slick pads at HempFest. Can't wait to use them.

A while ago I got Everclear (190) and an absinthe herb kit. So I'm testing with this tincture as my transport ... it's still 190 but licorice flavored. I dumped some used runs (saved in mason jar) and started an RSO approach. It's purging and then I'll Ejuice it. It will be interesting the yield not to mention effects since it has been a used collection of different herbs.

So I've been reading that it is better to use 99% iso than everclear for things you vape because of the starch and sugar in the everclear.

For RSO style stuff that you will eat the everclear will be better.

Any thoughts on that? I thought there was still stuff in iso that you didn't really want to be vaping either.

I would say the amount of starch/sugar is very very minimal if there at all. Do an evap test on it i find no residue or stickiness from the evapped everclear

In general we do recommend toasting for most extractions, toasting is definitely better suited to liquid application for the reasons you've mentioned, but even more than atomizer longevity the predominant reason we advise is odor. Untoasted extract is literally herbal perfume complete with all the signature green volatile organic odors most commonly recognized by others. We prefer our users have the added peace of mind that when vaping in public, they won't be confronted by others offended by intensely aromatic vapor clouds. Do try a small run of untoasted herbs so you can see for yourself the difference, and afterwards experiment with creating a personalized blend that is say 20% untoasted juice to 80% toasted juice for an even broader spectrum of flavors and distinct notes from the sharp green initial impressions, to the broader base flavor of the vapor, to the nasal "feel" and vapor aroma, to the aftertaste and finish. Mix different strains and herbs for possibilities that are otherwise unobtainable. Some batches we even toast for 45 minutes for a very dark oil for mixing and adding a nice smoky "dark chocolate" touch to our blends. The possibilities are endless.

Well I guess this is a testament to the Liquidizer runs.

I had mentioned saving all of my used material in a mason jar and then tried to concentrate it. There's certainly flavor but no big punch (but its there). Again, this leads me to believe my initial runs were very effective.

Reusing your material is a not an unpleasant vape ... kinda like ultralights but with flavor. Also, the process was so long that I'm not doing that again (anytime soon).

Thank you, we do take our herbal enthusiasm seriously; we believe fine extracts are deserving of respect. In time we do think filtered oils and Ejuices will graduate to the ranks of highly regarded delicacies such as espresso or brandy. By introducing toasting and winterization, a broad range of flavors and aromas possibilities are created and we feel we've only just begun exploring. We need the help of other enthusiasts and we see our customers as fellow collaborators. No two batches produced will be exactly the same, and it's that diversity and exploration of new possibilities that keeps Liquidizing interesting.

After having several successful batches I agree to better treat it as a delicacy. I've been going through my extracts A LOT since Liquidizing and my tolerance level is at it's max.

And also procuring herbs to juice for me is very expensive so I treat every drop gold. I love doing this but I need to enjoy my EJuice. For instance it would take me 1-3 days to go through a batch while vaping take me weeks for the same amount of herbs. I've had to hit my regular vape with just flavored juice to taper off my tolerance level and start over with restraint (I think).

Again, thanks for such a terrific product and I (and others on this tread?) am looking forward to your future offerings.

there are zero starches or sugars left in EC after distillation. just like ethanol its strictly alcohol and water.

EC is much better than ISO IMO.

I agree whole heartedly. I can't get ISO to come anywhere near the flavor of the EC or Etho.

Now I need some and I don't know to get.

And also I have lowered my water temperature when purging. Much better yield, flavor and look. Takes me about 10 minutes longer. I had a friend in town recently from CO, said he buy's juice carts all the time including all the pure gold stuff.

That mother fucker said my juice was better. Whether or not it true it's got be some testament to my trials.

My next step is going to be vacuum purging. :D

I throw away my ABV material.
Made oil in the past out of it however the flavor was sub par.
Using Flowers to make Concentrates is the ticket!

Damn, you guys are crazy... I keep all my ABV, turn it into oil or eat it for the CBD's... Next time I get a decent amount, I'm gonna turn it into oil and cook it into some coconut oil with soy lethicin and cap them for sleepy time pills.

co-signed. my ABV produces a potent oil. sure it doesnt look or taste great, but it certainly works. especially before sleep.

ok so here a pic of my current setup for use with my liquidized extracts. its a T1 base with a Kanger Pro Tank 2. as you can see i have to run shorty 510 extension due to the Evo switch having such a deep 510 female connection.

FJjaoqw.jpg

because of that ive got one of these on its way. its a clone of the telescopic Smok Magneto. its got a really nice lockable magnet switch. and for $22 you cant go wrong!

smoktech_magneto_clone_gotsmok-660x330.jpg

but instead of using the Pro Tank 2 for my daily driver ill be using one of these. unfortunately i will stil need a 510 to eGo adapter due to no glass mini/nano clearos available with 510 threads yet.

im am absolutely loving the idea of liquidizing and how it allows you to vape in public with normal looking equipment. thanks again liquidizer!

Here's a genuine Mini Protank 2 for a good price. Glass, not plastic. Only down side is that the mouthpiece is integral, not swapable for one you prefer. Their full size (non-mini) version 2 has a removable 510 drip tip. USE COUPON CODE VAPORJOEROCKS TO BRING THE TOTAL TO $12.99

And the blurb from the web site:

Genuine The Kanger Mini Protank 2 - 1.5ml Glassomizer Pryex Glass Tank Bottom Coil Clearomizer
Made of Sturdy Pyrex Glass and Solid Chrome Plated Metal Tank, this 1.5ml Clearomizer is the Original Bottom Coil Glass Tank!

The Mini Protank 2 is designed to be taken apart in case of glass breakage and making any further possible leak problems a thing of the past, just replace the gaskets if needed!

This tank features a bottom fill with the ease of using replaceable Protank atomizers so you won't have to buy special atomizers if you already own the Protank.

Use your caustic eJuices with confidence, I have run every acid eLiquid I have through this Bad Boy and its NOT LEAKING!

The Tank has an eGo threaded connector and comes with two 2.2ohm atomizers.

Haywood, that is why i got the AnyVape davide mini. its basically the same as the ProTank stuff... full size davide = to full size protank 2 and same goes for the minis. the only difference is that the Davide mini lets you use any drip it. and ive been reading that Kanger released the ProTank 2 mini early and that the removable drip tip version IS still coming out. its just been delayed. i like the aesthetics of the Davides more than the ProTanks. whoever comes out with the mini design, but with 510 threads will get my business for sure. that is what im after!

hey liquidizer... can a carto tank be used here? or does it really need to be a bottom coil device?

If it works with regular cartos/clearos like the ViVi Nova/non bottom-fed's, I would spring for some of their juice base. 2ml's of ganja goodness at a time

Got my Liquidizer kit a couple weeks ago and have been enjoying it thoroughly. The Liquidizer people hooked me up with a nice discount code and shipping was super fast. There was a small problem with my order but they straightened it out right away. I found customer service to be very responsive and quick. Good peeps over at Liquidizer.

As for the product, the directions were very easy to follow and made the whole process quick and painless, even for a complete noob at making concentrates like me. I have a few batches under my belt and the results have been great. I have no problem only running small batches at a time as it suits my need fine, but I would love to see them offer a larger extraction tube in the future.

The supplied "Ejvape" works as advertised but i found it to be a bit on the cheap side. Batteries don't last very long, everything is plastic, smallish hits, etc. It was a good start for me but I quickly realized that I needed a better setup. I have been using this mini Protank kit with great results: http://www.vapedojo.com/products/kanger-mini-protank-starter-kit They are good for on the go, stealthy, good flavor, and nice hits. The tank holds a good amount of liquid without being too large and my winterized liquids wick perfectly.

For the last couple of days I've been trying out a 2.0 ohm dripping atomizer on a vv Vision spinner battery. Can only load a few drops at a time on this but I've been getting great flavor and massive hits with this setup. Can't speak on the longevity of any of these products, I assume the coils won't last as long as with regular ecig juice but time will tell.

Overall, I'm finding liquidizing to be a very convenient, clean, effective way to use concentrates. Great for stealth and on the go and satisfying enough for home use as well.
