Discontinued The Sublimator

Two questions for Sublimator and Enailinator owners:

1) has anyone tried to do an iso rinse on the oil that the Sublimator produces in the downstem?

2) Has anyone tried flowers in the Titanium Enail version?
Also is there a dimmer on the Ti nail version?

Dave44 definitely did not express himself properly to get his point across, and flaming, name calling, and accusations which are not properly backed up with proof boil down to nothing. I am sure it is clear to most that the Sublimator does not cost that much to produce (materials/parts, components, and construction considered) clearly there are far more costs involved int producing a Volcano, but all in all cost is really means nothing to people that can afford the product and everyone seems to enjoy the device and that is what really matters.

I wonder if you saved enough of the reclaim if you could make shatter

I don't see why not. You would probably have to take care and double screen to keep it as clean as possible, but the stuff I get is pretty clean and can be further purified.

All Vapes have names; our favorite is called a sublimator could have been called the "ATOMIC" I don't know if that name is taken or not but nobody would think that some thing with that name is radioactive. I wouldn't complain if my giger counter would not react to it. Look up both words sublimation and vaporize they almost mean the same thing

I combusted in my sublimator earlier (Forgot it was on dabbing temp), and had to clean everything thoroughly for the first time since it's seen major use. I had no iso so I just rinsed everything with really hot water and q-tipped, and most of the metal came shiny again inside and my glass came totally clean. But now there's a strong weird smell in my atomizer like burnt hair. I think some of the qtip fibres must of gotten caught in the metal, I'm going to need to find some kind of wire brush scrubbing tool and buy some iso to try and get this clean tasting again, it's pretty unusable. I tried burning it off on max for an hour and the smell is still there. It might be different from brand to brand, but I wouldn't recommend q-tipping inside the atomizer bottom the metal snags the cotton and then you get qtip fibres in your atomizer =[

This infamous C-Clip is supposed to be below the Teflon?

I have never seen this C-Clip - I don't think my Atomizer came with one.

Planet vape is well aware of this, but they are on the take now as well. You can't even leave real feedback on their website. It's all pre moderated, as it would have to be when you go down the road of marketing utter nonsense, that leaves every other use a permanent, third degree branding.
This is the same exact wording through all of dave44 posts as he posted on Reddit on all Sublimator threads.

To clear things up, we have never received a free Sublimator, we first tried it at a trade show and loved it so much we immediately bought one at full retail price from the beautiful Sublimator rep as just a regular customer not identifying who we were. After using it for about a week, we knew we found something amazing, contacted Sublimator, travelled to Quebec City to get a tour of the manufacturing facility and to meet Enrico. We can promise you that the Sublimator manufacturing facility is not daddy's machine shop as we met the owners.

In the years of selling vapes and accessories, we get a lot of emails from customers who are happy with their purchase thanking us for advice, sales, service etc. Then came the Sublimator... in just the few months the Sub has been available, we have received an unprecedented amount of glowing product emails about how much every customer loves their Sublimator, never have we had so many customers take the time to write how much they love their purchase as they do when getting a Sub.

Yes, reviews that are on our site need to be approved before being posted. However, we only filter for profanity, use of illegal substances etc. and never for a negative review. Case in point, just 4 days ago, customer bought this herbal chamber and used it incorrectly, trying to use extracts in it for which it is not designed, left an undeserved negative review which we still posted under the reviews tab.

Yes, the c-clip is under the teflon and is a another support besides the threading on the shaft.

SubBuddy reclaimers should be available this weekend-early next week as well as Sublimator apparel, t-shirts, hats etc.

And that brings me to my first question - what's the best way to get the bowl/downstem clean? I have given the bowl a soak/scrub with ISO but it was still kinda grimy afterwards. I didn't bother with the atomizers downstem as the airflow is still quite good, but want to get it nice and clean before commencing with the new screen combo.

The way I've been doing it since I lack a metal brush and can't separate the stem is to pop the screen, soak in ISO for a bit and scrub with a q-tip and pointy metal stirrer. I alternate running hot water through it and ISO/scrapping until it's mostly clean. Then I run my old waterpik dental irrigator inside the bowl and on the screen.

I forgot to pack the bowl for my friend and told him to hit it. He hits it and there is virtually no vapor. I'm like wtf and tell him to hit it again. I thought it had broke because there was no vapors. Got three people sublimated to the point where they had to go to bed.

Can't wait for Sublimator apparel, subbuddy, and the sub tubes!!

Bad news guys, my tube on the le just broke. Does anybody know the warranty procedures? Will post pictures soon, I was doing the first thorough clean and the plastic at the bottom part near the collector just broke off. To top it off i jumped on the computer to type this, and when i returned to the partially broked sub, its decided to crack all the way to the top... Its definitely not working now... It just keeps shattering each time i look at it.:uhh:

You probably put alcohol into the bong like I did myself.

It's made out of acrylic so alcohol will crack your tube.

Has anyone tried to dab, and then realized they had shut the unit off an hour ago?
Oh shit Tweek ... that made my day (morning?)!

I have my Sub connected to my WeMo so I can turn it off (if I leave for the cottage and forget) and turn it on when leaving the cottage to come back home for work (my office is in my house) and a couple times my WeMo has just shut it off so I've gone and loaded the Sub up and taken a hit, only to be surprised by .... NOTHING! This happened a couple times in a couple days a couple weeks back (lots of couples there :)) before the last firmware upgrade but everything has been humming along fine since the last WeMo firmware upgrade.

Edit:

I posted a little further back about the reclaim I got from washing the downstem and glass. I got quite a bit, and it was very good.

whazzup subnation!

tweek, so you get the sub-vapor, the reclaim from the atomiser which drips down, and then when you qwiso the downstem for cleaning (the atomiser), there is another round of reclaim, is that right?

Can someone please tell me how long is the atomizer part that inserts into my bubbler as i would like to know if it can fit into the length of the bubbler downstem. i have been told that this sublimator is built tough, can i say maintenance is basically stripping it down and wash with iron brush & ISO?

The consensus seems to be the sub is tough, but what would be the most likely to fail/vulnerable part of the Sub? thanks.

sorry, last question (could be a dumb one). the vapor is supposedly smoother but is it any cooler than 'normal' vapes?

Rough day yesterday brought the sub over to my friend's place. I was using it with my mobius and cb as usual, probably went through like 12 bowls between the three of us. Then my friend said why don't we try it out of the roor. You can guess what happened it hit like a champ, but I went to lift the atomizer to dump the bowl and the cb stuck to it for a second then dropped falling on the female joint of the bong and broke the joint. I felt horrible completely ruined the sesh, the worst part is he refuses to fix it when it would be an easy $100 repair. I guess I will just toss him some bills for a new piece. Here is the damage, all caused from the cb dropping onto the joint.

that sucks, man. but it sounds like your buddy needs to get over it.
you offered repair and he says no, what else can you do?
it's not like you said, hey let me use it with your bong.

so much for "ROOR quality", i guess. thought those suckers were always
priced unreasonably.

sucks, either way

Sorry you had breakage kingtut... never a good thing. I have to use a strong rubber band on my dewar piece, to keep the CB from pulling up. On other pieces, I use a Kclip to keep it from moving. Mine has stuck like that and pulled up unexpectedly too (on the dewar joint) scared the crap out of me. I hope you can work it out with your friend.
