USPS adjusted something about the way they are shipping, even we don't get it. First they didn't offer guaranteed overnight, then they did..now they don't again. Now it has to do with proximity to the shipper and all are called priority but you can pay extra to have it shipped priority express..which still says priority.

On a cool note- the rest of the units will ship tomorrow :cheers:

Called out website people, they have no idea how those 2 random people snuck in...hacked maybe? However, they were offered refunds as of now. We will start sending out order emails soon for those others still waiting.

DV - Can you say when your 2 US distributors will be shipped to? Are the crocs and burls now available to be shipped to the US distributors? Please elaborate on the warranty issue. Am I correct to understand that those of us who ordered from web retailers such as EZVAPES.com will be warranty-covered through their US distributor, who I take it, is an authorized seller? Thanks!

Very cool! it would be fantastic to have this thing in my hands for the weekend.

Although I'm not counting on it. I've been waiting for a week for a USPS 2 day priority shipment from VG in Virginia :uhoh:. I hope to have better luck with the Ascent...

DV, could you provide any further insight as to what "due time" may constitute in reference to getting GV and TV their units to begin fulfilling their presales? We've been patiently waiting too :)

Ours (I'm calling my brother's "ours" now) is apparently going to take 3 days to ship from Las Vegas to Utah. Because, you know, Utah is so far away from Las Vegas. :hmm:

Whatever. At least it's Friday, and not two months from now. Looking on the bright side and all...

It's good to hear DV finally after all the repeated delays has these units rolling to to eager customers who managed to navigate their way to preorder through DV directly. I chose to preorder through TorontoVaproizers as I live in Canada and in addition to having to pay additional shipping fees, did not want to also have to pay duty on top of everything. I assumed that since TV was one of DVs authorized sellers and received a beta testing unit quite early that this was the best and most expedient route to take. Was hoping that DV would set aside some of their shipment allotment to begin to supply their retailer too, but looks like they are just fillng their own preorders with this initial shipment. Hopefully they send some units to these vendors before opening up their next round of presales.

From what Davinci has said over the last few days, I believe they plan on fulfilling most of the pre-registered orders before shipping to their retailers...it might be mid-September before they get theirs...

I could be wrong...am most likely wrong...and plan on being wrong again...:tup:

USPS has had to close so many distribution centers that my inlaws, who live in a decent size city, mailed invitations last year to their neighbors on the same day ours was mailed. We received our invitation 2 days before all of their neighbors despite living 6 hours away. Apparently we now live closer to their distribution center, their city mail now travels hours away, gets resorted, then travels hours back. sad.

the USPS is what it is and they do their best with the constant $ cutbacks. I haven't heard any bad USPS recently, and let's hope they've had time to be acquainted with their new, inconvenient mail routes and deliver ascents on time (we shall soon find out). But I believe the fresh cutbacks to USPS is probably why we're reading a range of delivery dates, even with over night delivery. Nigel spoke the truth about FedEx and ups earlier.

BTW - nice to meet u all. I've been a daily DV thread reader since March and a glass only veteran for a decade. Thanks to each of you for a great read and to DV for getting it done for us.

Good points about USPS, and the cutbacks are a shame. Unfortunately, that's not the case here, as we usually receive packages from the center in Vegas within a day (we've had about 30 packages sent here over the last couple of months).

Edit: looks like our shipping is "Priority Mail 3-Day." Anybody else get that? Not exactly "express shipping."

Yeah, I'm not complaining though. A tracking number and delivery date is much more than some others got. If it's 3 days then it's 3 days, I've already waited months so this is cake. :tup:
I will be doing this :rockon: on the drive to the Post Office though followed by :mmmm: hopefully.

Exactly. 3 days is better than three months. Just a little disappointed it didn't get bumped up to express shipping as was promised. But it sounds like they were having issues with USPS's weird new shipping options. Or maybe it did get bumped and "express" doesn't mean what it used to.

Whatever. Anyway. Friday. We can live with Friday.

From January to Friday.

So when is dv shipping to their distributors? It was my understanding that they are filling ALL pre orders from both there web sight and from there distributors.

OK.Great news,Ascents are rolling all over US.Really glad for you guys.I believe there are few Europeians roaming over this thread...Wondering did DV started papers for EU version of ascent to go trough the stages of custom and retail etc.How long could take before we can by one here in EU?Anybody care to take an estimate,I d say late december
