Discontinued The Sublimator

I don't know about you guys, but I need multiple vapes. I find that after a week with the same vape my tolerance shoots up. But if I switch to another vape that one seems super efficient. I was using the Sub exclusively for a week when I noticed I was loading more. Then I used my VAP2 and got blitzed. Same thing happens with my Cloud. I don't think I would enjoy using one vape all the time as much as two or more.

So here's my new ghetto rig, with a little less ghetto...

The base is three pieces of wood from the craft store for a total of $4.27 plus tax.

Then put whatever piece of glass you want on there, held down by four screws and elastic bands or hair ties.

The larger wooden flower pot holds the atomizer and Apollo upright when heating, and the atomizer upright for easy loading.

And here is the whole system at rest with the Apollo in the smaller wooden flower pot.

It's a tight little setup with a small footprint (base is 7" square). The flower pots hold the units tightly (although my atomizer is always in the 18mm to 18mm extender, so something different would be needed for someone who heats it up outside of an extender/reducer/expander. I like having it in this glass all the time so the teflon never expands tightly against the CloudBuddy or down stem. It's small enough to pick up and hold while hitting, but just stable enough to hold everything steady. It would be best with a piece of glass with a 90 degree angle (upright), as the whole base tips over when I have the entire Sub loaded into the CloudBuddy into the down stem.

Last maneuver is to decide where to tie down the plug cord.

Definitely combusted a couple bowls at the 30-32watt mark.

It's interesting - the first hoot gets vaporized, but when you go in for the second, you get smoke.

The sublimator is my exclusive vape. Other vapes are like going for a quick joint now because I'm bored. The thing just gets me roasted beyond belief, 32-34watts is my sweet spot. Lovin the pics of the rigs. If I can make a recommendation please buy into the presale edition or get a hose running people. The hose is amazing with this thing i can't express it enough

I am who I am and your approval isn't needed!
I'll be soooooooo glad when the day of an after purchase to the adapt-a-bong (which was only avail before the whole kit option) , makes purchasing a tube with whip assy from PV a reality

Ok, THAT, and the Sub-Buddy reclaim adaptor too

...... THEN, I feel my SUB experience & set-up will be COMPLETE :freak:

I'm exactly like this as well ... love having both the Sub and the Cloud (2 heavy hitters) -- each has their pros as well!

My Brain before a dab with the Sub: "Maaan, what a beautiful day. Gonna hop in the shower, have a big breakfast and then maybe take a drive out to run some errands.

Brain after the dab: "Fuuuuck, a meatloaf sandwich, a beer and some videogames sounds really damn good right about now, bro."

Bad news guys, my tube on the le just broke. Does anybody know the warranty procedures? Will post pictures soon, I was doing the first thorough clean and the plastic at the bottom part near the collector just broke off. To top it off i jumped on the computer to type this, and when i returned to the partially broked sub, its decided to crack all the way to the top... Its definitely not working now... It just keeps shattering each time i look at it.:uhh:

I think I'm going to try out a different screen than my PV ultra fine. I was going to go with the iolite screen, but I wasn't sure to get the double woven or regular mesh. I like to dump my screen after every hit and the regular mesh looks like it will easily go in place, but the mesh does not look fine enough. While the double woven almost looks to fine to the point that it might restrict airflow. I was thinking of getting the regular mesh removing the screen and placing a PV ultra fine in place of it...

Any suggestions from someone who has tried on or the other or possibly both would be great.
