Welcome to Fuck Combustion...Tell us about yourself here!

What's up, guys and gals? My friend referred me to this community, as he knows I'm all about vaporizing. There's not too much on my mind at this time, so I'll just say that I have both a plug-in vaporizer and a portable vaporizer (which I just got!).

p.s., Looks like I have some customization to attend to with regard to my profile.

Hey Guys,

I've been lurking around this site for a couple months now while i was figuring out what vape set up I wanted to go with. This community is so friendly and informative, I figured I'd make an account and say hi :)

A good friend of mine gave me his Buddha Vape for free about two years ago, because he quit mj and knew that I was concerned about the health effects from smoking. I liked DBV, but I never really felt like I was getting it to 'work right'. I had a hard time getting vapor as thick as I would like without combusting. Also, the whip was constantly falling out. Contrary to everything you always hear about vaporizers, I actually felt like DBV required MORE herb to get the same effect as smoking. So, I stopped using it.

I use mj everyday, for recreational purposes, and to control my anxiety and depression. A couple of months ago I started thinking about vapes again, for two reasons: 1. Health concerns regarding smoke inhalation and 2. Increased tolerance, and the desire to conserve bud

(I'm on an ADD med that greatly increases my tolerance for mj, so I'd like to make my bud/cash stretch as far as possible.)

Back when I was using DBV, I didn't always have access to the greatest herb, so it's possible that this was a factor contributing to its poor performance. Also, after looking around in this site quite a bit, I realized that there's actually a lot of thought and technique that goes into getting the most out of your vape set up, and maybe I just didn't know what I was doing back then...

So, not wanting to half-ass it this time, I did a lot of research, and here's what I ended up purchasing:

-Arizer Extreme Q 4.0

-Glass Bat Vapor Genie (for all my portable needs)

-$40 VB Hydrator knock-off (to go with the Extreme)

I'm hoping that this set-up, (especially the hydrator) will make my transition from smoker to vaper successful and smooth. I will definitely be posting about my experience :)

I just ordered all of this today, and I can't wait to get it in the mail!!!

Hey guys made an account a little while ago and have just been lurking, but I think it's about time I start becoming more involved in the community.

Glass:
Sheldon black straight tube
Freshbaked fizzer (for concentrate)
Grav lab bubbler (doesn't get any use since I stopped combusting)

Vapes:
I've gone through a couple generic desktop box vapes which I hated
I've also on my third magic flight haha thank god for the warranty and the power adapter has done wonders for me.
Can't forget the g pen and atmos A pen

I'm really looking forward to be an active member on the site and adding to the very youngvape collection.

I found this forum about six weeks ago. This is my fiftieth post. Thanks to this forum I've learned a lot.

I'm mostly using an Arizer Solo and Omicron pen. It's kind of cool to live in California and have so much stuff readily available.

Hey FC community,
Long time forum junkie and glass bong smoker here (between 10 and 30 a day generally) from a 3rd world country, never felt truly satisfied from a vape until recently but that's all changed now.
First combustion free mental elevation experience was with one of those shoddy BC Vaporizers with a jar on top of it, probably about 8 or 9 years ago (Decidedly unpleasant, it sat on my shelf for years until I gave it to a friend's granny, she liked it). Have owned a MFLB for a few years but couldn't get the hit I was wanting from such a narrow air passageway, though it certainly tastes amazing.
Friend brought his Vapolution 2.0 with custom waterpipe mod round just over a month ago and I certainly saw the fabled metaphorical light. Bought an SSV the following day and with the assistance of a friendly Italian gentleman coupled with same day delivery service left me with little desire to look back.
Can count the times I've indulged in combustion since acquiring my SSV on one hand, and a month of learning the ropes has resulted in me pulling massive, dense, almost effortless clouds of vapour from whichever bong tickles my fancy.
Looking into getting the LSV so my SSV can stay home with the girlfriend, and the all glass air passageway has a certain attraction for me (as aware as I am that stainless doesn't give off any fumes, etc at the temps I'm working with, I still prefer all glass for some reason).
Have been lurking anonymously around here since I bought my LB, and decided since I can finally relate to the sentiment expressed in this forum's url it was about time to sign up.
You can start getting used to me, I'm here to stay!

Hi Oscar, welcome!

The SSV was also the device that converted me to the vape side. I had a globe (jar?) and then the 1st herbalaire before that but the SSV was my first love, and the first vape I bought after I joined here was the LSV. Similar paths

Hi my name is John this is my first time gaping,I first tried the Atmose vapeworld it is not what they say it is,so I waisted my money on there product, can't get a refund just a bad deal. But the very first time I tried my MFLB I was truly vaping it is the best thing that is on the market to date. Every friend of mine who has tried it has bought one . Thank the whole MFLB team you have a remarkable product and I am very happy with mine. I ordered the power adapter can't wait to try it. Thank you John

Never smoked , but started vaping about 2 years ago. And I can say it improved my life.
I started with the MFLB , after that bought an Iolite.
But after that I was very satisfied with my Plenty to use it at home and a Pinnacle for 'on the road'.
Nice to be here!

i've never come across someone who's only ever vaped.

I'll be honest - I usually just visit GrassCity, but I love vaporizing. I'm high from my EQ. Welcome.

FukCombustion,
Yeah , I know :smug:. Sounds strange. Also before I started vaping , I've tried and liked some other oral psychoactives. Normally MJ is a starter for most.
I live near the Dutch border , where almost everything used to be legal
It's a bit unusual, but cool nonetheless.

As for me, I still have an old basic Vapor Warez. I just got a portable Pax vaporizer, though, so I don't feel quite so antiquated. lol

Hi all, been on the forum a few months and just decided to say hi. Probably should have earlier but I'm here now. Anyway, I'm Fluffhead. I combusted for almost 20 years and I have been vaping for about 16 months. I vape for IBS and just a crappy gi tract in general. I started with a mflb and liked the idea of vaping but couldn't get it to work for me. Then I moved to the eq for about a year and liked it much better. This past April I moved to the solo and with the help of those in the solo thread I have it to my liking (bubbler with pvhegong). I have much preferred the solo with the bubbler to any other previous way of medicating. That didn't stop me from hopping on board the VXL indiegogo campaign and now I eagerly await October. VAS and GAS are powerful and can't be underestimated. That's me. Thanks to all of the contributors around here I have been able to get the most of my vaping experience and hopefully I will be able to help others too.

Been lurking for about a year or two, finally registered about a week or two ago to talk about how giddy I was about placing my order for a custom orange Big Mona from M&M Tech/Leviathan Glass. Been vaping ever since I got an MFLB in college and been a true believer in the vapors since then!

Really glad I'm finally a bona fide member of the FC community now! :D

Hi folks. Like most of us I stumbled on FC forum after online researches for reviews and such. I was finally pulled into joining after I followed a discussion about concentrates.

It's tough to share with you're local friends what you're doing because they can care less but on here I'm glad topics can freely be discussed.

I was turned onto vaping when a friend introduced me to it and like you all prefer it to fire.

As the name implies I'm fortunate to be in Seattle. Hempfest was uber surreal this year with legalization and such.

I'm looking forward to engage more with this online community and thanks for letting me join.
