Hey how are you guys cleaning the brass filters? They get dirty quickly it seems.

Yeah i am starting to really like it too.(I have the long tube) With loose leaf tobacco processed by myself, i fill it 3/4 the way up and get powerfull drags all the way thru. I get 2 sometimes 3 big drags in the beginning and the same as i usually turn the power up until it flashes 3-4 times a session. Same results with herb.
Also smoking this thing in my hammock at night time and also in my bed at night is so awesome with the green light although i don't need to be in the dark anymore because i am now getting visible vapor during the day. But it's still really cool at night, i feel like yoda with the green light it's kind of like a lightsabor. Thanks for the cleaning tip btw. What kind of ISO product is it? They have a lot of products.

right now I'm using 70% isopropyl alcohol , works well . You can find it around here at 99% or 70% . Picked up 70% because it was BOGO at the local drugstore .

I'm really not digging my week-old tvape with the short tube, it's not working out at all for my needs.
What is your satisfaction policy? Is there any way I can return it for a refund, or at least trade it in for the long tube version?

mine works with ceramic filter in the nipple. i'm getting same volume of hits as without it.

I tried to edit my last post but it would not let me, i now keep one nipple with ceramic filter and one nipple without it. On the nipple that is without it, i placed a small brass filter from the da vinci in there and that seems to work great for me. I think it is still easier to draw from the one without it, on the other one sometimes i feel like i am pulling harder then i should.

I found the same also that ceramic piece collects a lot of "honey" with MJ and I would rather have it in my lungs , better with it for tobacco for me .
I have noticed that the heat up time between hits is getting shorter actually used a chess timer . A few days ago it took 27-30 seconds on Friday night 22 seconds and last night 17 seconds . That's after using it enough to charge it once or twice a day for 2 weeks .
Don't know if the difference would come from breaking in the battery or the eTube ?

I have the same question! I purchased my unit a couple of weeks ago with short tube. Does not work very well and I'm tired of screwing around with it.

Thanks rude boy for the pm I would not have noticed this issue that some where having with the Tvape short tube. If you didn't.
First off let me say that our ultimate goal is to have our customers happy and satisfied with our product. That being said we can never make everyone happy. When tvape was devolved it original only came In a long tube Version we came out with the shots tube because we got the request to make it more compact.
Now the short tube does do the job but in my opinion I think the long tube is a better if you don't mind the size also the long tube has alot more advantages.
If anyone that purchased the short tube and is not happy i will be more then happy to replace it for a long tube instead.

For now I'm gonna hold on to the short tube and give it a little more time as the long is working so well .
I did the first real cleaning of a nipple and ceramic that was only used with Bud . Only used it for about 8 sessions , I used two OCB rolling papers one to wipe off the filter and one to swab out the nipple .
the papers were stickier then I thought they would be . A while ago did a session with just the papers and got 3 really good hits and a few more wispy ones after each , felt great effect in relief from side effects of my pharma meds (one of the main reasons I Vape) . Pretty Cool .
EDIT: If you don't use the ceramic filter you could vape for a week and only have to clean or change the mesh screen

Grokit I do think you'll see a different vape an inch or inch and a half longer but it works well .
When I opened the box my first thought was " RB you should of bought the short tube " (I did buy one separate later ) because the long is the same length as the snorkel for the DV . Now I am happy I did , but really wish the short worked the size just feels so much better to me .

What i do for some simple cleaning maintenance is i blow as hard as i can into the nipple(when it is out by itself)(with or without ceramic filter), you will see honey like liquid come out, especially when blowing on a piece of paper, then i usually rub the bottom of the nipple on the piece of paper, more liquid will come off. I do this everytime i use it and it keeps it cleaner. Also i run the nipple and the ceramic filter under warm and cold water, dry the outside and blow into it to discard the water and use it right away. This is how i keep the nipple clean.. (i do use papers and this rag i have occasionally as well as rudeboy described above)
Story time:
So i had all my brass filters sitting in a poland springs water bottle(the kind i drink frequently) with about an once or two of 70 percent ISO. I had a few poland springs water bottles sitting around my room and i accidently took a swig and swallowed some. Gross just gross. It's comical now to me. I'm currently drinking a lot of water to dilute it, i feel fine so that's good.

Bummer. You might want to rethink that getting checked out thing. A good swallow is a fair part of the one time lethal dose. It's hard on your liver, dilution doesn't change that but might relieve some symptoms. The general MSDS direction for injection calls for seeking help. The stuff is poison.
Recycling is great and all, but you might not want to recycle those bottles in that way.

Lao, at least call poison control. ISO is denatured and could have methanol in it. Human can process ethanol, but methanol is very dangerous. Water won't help. Just talk to a professional, please?

Ok guys, it says its 70%, active ingredients are isopropyl alcohol . It says to call poison control and it says it will produce gastric disturbances. Right now i feel okay, no symptoms of distress, i took a drop of lavander oil and got medicated as a precaution.

Looking on the back of my 70% and my 99% iso bottles, they both warn of "serious gastric disturbances", but nothing worse. So if you're feeling okay you probably are.
But if you do feel any of these gastric disturbances it's definitely time to seek medical attention, which they do tell you to do if you ingest it.
It's not a bad idea to give poison control a call in any case, it definitely can't hurt!
edit: what OF is saying below makes total sense, so it's probably a good idea to do liver support therapy because this kind of damage is cumulative and can be reversed.
Two of the best methods of that I know of are high coffee enemas, which might be ideal for you as it is an instant detox for the liver. The other method is by taking milk thistle supplements, which is simpler but less instantaneous. If it was me I would probably do both.

Makes sense, livers don't scream as you beat them up.....ask any wino.
While lavender oil and THC might be nice precautions, a liver function test might be more useful? At least checking with the experts?

Thanks for the tips guys, i still feel fine now. I just called posion control, they said i would be just fine, you guys had me worried for a second! I am gonna be doing some detox yoga, eat some good food, cannabis, etc.
