Ok let me get this straight, you loaded the coil with wax and without putting it together you hit the button for 5 seconds 4 times?

It can do flowers if your willing to modify the coil tank and learn.

If you want conduction then get the 3.7v rods.

Here' a Quick demo of the SR-71 in action. Thanks to G's advice I had to prime my oil coil some more and with my many practice runs(lol) I ran out of medicine. Tomorrow will try to pick up some more concentrates and try to put up some more vides.

Once I got it going it was K.O'ing me every hit, and the flavor so clean hit after hit.
The Nibbler XL is freaking amazing, Taste is Exquisite ,cool to the throat with no splash back for such a compact package.:tup:

But what's with the dimple on the contact above? It's can't be Tungsten then can it?

And for sure .08 Ohms isn't right. That's over 45 Amps (and 170 Watts......). I'd expect something closer to .4 Ohms for the same power level which is still an unrealistic 10 Amps? Perhaps .8 Ohms?

Only the President can break Ohm's Law at will you know...... Well maybe Holder can too. And there's the IRS.....

I could not make your setup work?

To make this work I had to take out the ring and use 4 x 18350's!

4 x 3.7 volts = 14.8 volts

OK afraid of frying my new head so a 1 second hold down only.

MY GOD the VAPOR was THICK!

TWO RIP WONDER!

This is a HASH MACHINE!

Anyone got any good tricks for removing the oil coil? I keep just ripping the handle out!

My oil sems to be mostly in the top chamber but I do have a decent amount of concentrate dripping down on the ceramic rod and into the bottom chamber too.

Wow! The oil coil stretches out a lot. How long do I need to soak it in ISO to get my reclaim?

If it's just a couple hours or something I can manage that but I don't want to go a long time without my SR-71 because I'm trying to get some reclaim back!

Last question (for now): If a oil coil gets really stretched out, is it wrecked?

Edit: I just remembered I have a bunch of old dead Omicron carts that have been soaking in ISO for about two weeks! I put my SR-71 parts in a small jar with ISO and I am letting it soak before I boil the SR 71 parts again. I don't see any reason I shouldn't be able to vape off the ISO the Omicron carts are soaking in too and hopefully get more reclaim? I've never done reclaim with ISO like this before so if anyone has hints or wise advice I'm listening!

So i received my sr-71 yesterday and I tried to use it but am having some serious problems trying to get this thing to work at all... When i opened it I had sanitized and assembled it perfectly as per the instructions and then went to loading some co2 oil on top of the oil coil and slightly heated with the button to melt it into the coil before I put the SS washer and mouth piece on. I followed the hitting directions, but I got no vapor. I continued trying to get a hit for about 2 minutes to no avail. I figured I perhaps just needed more oil, so I loaded more into the coil. After running the sr-71 for about a minute and a half this time I was getting little like baby hits out of it, but no where near half as thick as the old carts could do... I continued to try and get a hit, but then I got a slight electric burning scent. I had thought maybe it was out of oil, so I opened it up and the coil was like melted clean of oil and the oil had melted its way down the ceramic rod and connected the two contacts on the rod causing a short which fried my head piece. The head piece was also acting funny in that the button light lit up and continually stayed on until I unscrewed the head piece from the body which i did asap because the bottom where the spring connected was rapidly heating up and there was a slight electric burning scent. It got so hot that it melted the plastic covering of my batteries a little bit on the bottoms, and the spring lost all of its springiness and i had to stretch it back out so that it wasn't flattened into the bottom. After realizing, what had happened, I disassembled and once again boiled the pieces to clean them. I now have it completely put back together and if i use it on my double head the ceramic rod will be glowing red hot in about 30 seconds or so, but it is still the same thing, it's like the coil does not get hot enough to vape the oil or something? Please help!!

BTW would I be able to get a warranty replacement on just the one head itself, or would it have to be for the entire persei unit?

Sounds like you might have reassembld something wrong man.

Okay last question I swear. If you iso soak or boil a oil coil do you need to melt a new 0.5g buffer into it.

This is pretty much the exact same problem that I am having with my sr-71 except somehow my head piece fried too?

My Cera is headed back for repairs now and that got me started shopping again. I'm thinking about dipping my toes in the Persei pool now but it looks like there are some fairly significant changes/updates/improvements coming up shortly? Should I just check back in a couple months or is this as good a time as any?

Hey THC - I just got Persei and am desperatly trying to get it to work. I get a puff every here and there with the clearomizer but can't get a consistent hit. I'm using an 18650 fully charged.

what clearomizer? i need to see a image of what is being used so that i can figure out what the issue is, and what are you putting in the clearomizer?
