interesting because my vip battery wont fit on my vapor cone which i was told was threaded 510 and seems to fit other parts. now im curious, ego threading and 510 are different? i was under the impression ego thread was universal

JohnxBlaze,

We're here to fuck shit up.
Ego is the visible threading on the outside of the top section of the battery. The 510 threading is inside the small port above that.

just tried my new vip chamber on my vapor cone battery (which looks like and ego c 650 mAh) and it only partially screwed on with no connection made. I know this is for vip but any clarification on what thread my vapor cone battery is?

Thanks deadshort, you've been extremely informative much appreciated.

I read through this thread a couple days ago, and I'm just now posting questions that I had then. Please forgive me if some of these have already been discussed, as I've done a lot of research on other vapes since then.

I've seen Vitolo's video, and the initial hits after load are quite thick. I've read that you can get dozens of hits - I forgot the approximate amount, anyone care to remind me? How does the strength of puffs decline over use? Is it gradual, until there's nothing left, like the Omicron, or is there a sharp decline at a certain point dependent upon how much you loaded into the bowl, like the Cera?

How useful is the battery meter? It seems that after lots of usage, when you get a good idea of how many hits you can get per charge, the hit counter can serve as a battery meter with much smaller increments. Is that a fair assumption, or do the number of hits vary by a lot? If so, do you think it's based on different average length of hits on different charges, or does it have more to do with variable charge capacities? Is that even a thing, or did I just make that up?

Are there any types of oils or waxes that don't work well with this vape, or is purity all that matters and some types are generally impure?

When clogs occur, the method to clear each input hole is to plug 3 of the holes, leaving one open, and inhale. Is this effective? Do clogs reoccur shortly after, or is its effect long lasting? In other words, does a clog signify that you need to clean it shortly after not?

Are there any difficulties I am not aware of?

As the wax reduces in amount in that chamber, and no longer covers the element strength of puffs declines... just add more.

The meter is fairly consistent .. especially where the number of hits is concerned. Sometimes the "level indicator" shows half.. but the "hit counter" shows I only did 60 hits....
I get between 170 and 200 hits per charge. I use that as a guide rather than the level indicator. When it says I am at about 100 hits I know I am halfway.

A clog does not mean it needs to be cleaned. I never have cleaned mine.
Add more fresh wax to loosen things up as the oils condense and thicken.
Yes plug 3 holes and suck to open a clog.

Are there any difficulties I am not aware of?

are you both referring to the vip1?

Im under the assumption the vip1 it can do bubble, perhaps with the glass screens?

Is the vip1 made with non toxic materials in the vape path?

thanks

since this thread seems a bit more active now i will ask again. Can anyone confirm what threading the vip1 is?
Also it seems when i load my wax crumble into my vip i wont get hits till it is all melted down to a liquid and then i get maybe 2 solid hits. Does not seem very efficient. New chamber and cleaning did not change efficiency.
As far as my battery life last 110-130 hits. which is exactly what the guy who sold it to me said i would get.
Love my vip but its been kinda finicky lately.

Tips:Using suction, cover three holes and clear the 4th open one.
Repeat this with all holes.
Airflow is important.
Hold unit with mouthpiece toward sky.
Do not be tempted to hit it while it is horizontal.

Hey Vitolo, Have you used the VIP2? If so do you mind sharing a small review...it seems like a nice product. Ive never used an atomizer, but it seems the vip2 is similar to the dabbler, i just hope the vip2 can hold more than a few hits of concentrate.

anyway, thanks

I do use the vip2.
I enjoy it.....
My tip:
Since you get 3 atomizers total when you get this unit you can use one just for dabbing ... OR use two for dabbing and one for oils or tinctures.
I recommend if you vape tincture to keep one atomizer sacred for just tincture.
If you remove post for dabbing.. then re-install it and vape tincture, the flavor is ruined!
Here is a GIF of it being removed and reinstalled.

awesome, thanks V.

How many hits did you get of the vip1 and the vip2 using the amounts you used on the vid?

D you think you could have loaded more into the vip2?

530rasta,

Dreamerr

Always in a state of confusion and silliness♀
I do what vito does at the end...dab in the vip2 and I like it a lot. I will let vito give you any answers as I just started learning this.

Damn vito it took me so long to post yours wasn't on my screen.

Yes, it seems there are changes!
Upgraded parts and accessories.
There is an Optional Ejuice/Liquid Concentrate Tank (good for Pure Gold too!)
There is a carbureted dome and heater(with replaceable core)
AND....
the mouthpiece is updated as is the heater... but that is not the best part...
The new GLASS DISC works well
It allows herb to be vaped pretty easily.
Trick is to hold the heat on for 5 seconds.... and then after that keep pulsing the heat.
The glass disc itself becomes the heat source, and vapes the meds without charring.
Not huge loads (there is not all that much space...), but nice tasting vapor nonetheless.
You will get a glimpse of the ABV in the vid:
