dang, I like that red...now i want a red one too!! You're always posting some sweet toys in here.

c02 oil work in clearomizers without a VG/PG mix? I've been reading about VG tinctures lately..so many conflicting recipes out there....ugh. Just going to have to buy up a bunch of oil see for myself what works best!

gonna depend on how runny it is... i avoid really runny oils for the v2 cartridges... I also usually test new stuff by only filling around .4 grams before loading much more in them.....

Just got my omicron v2, filled it with Grand Daddy Purple CO2 wax, and took a couple hits off of it and its awesome. I filled it with .5. It took a little more heat to fill it i suppose because it was rocky, almost looked like hash but was yellow


How can i use runny oil? That oil looked really runny, reminded me of ejuice.

I posted a version of this in the Persei forum. On a visit to Delta 9 today I got a few questions answered relating to things we've been discussing here:

1. The OPhos has threading for both 601 and 510. The Omicron Light does not. Thus you can use 510 cartridges on the OPhos without an adapter. It was demoed to me and the Ophos really does have two sets of threads. It can use a CE4 without any adapter.
2. The Omicron 2.5 comes with an HVD head. Even though the "official" statement is that it does not, it indeed does, but you have to buy the full kit to get the extension tubes. The 2.5 head can handle 7.4 volts.
3. Use a hair dryer, not a flame, to fill the cartridges. I haven't tried this yet.
4. The adapters they sell on the web site are for using Omicron cartridges on a 510, not a 510 on Omicron. To use the CE 4 cartridges that I have I need the adapter that they sell with the CE4 cartridges. They sold me a few of these and my CE 4 cartridges are now working fine on my Persei.

The Ophos is 601 threading only. Naomi told you the ce4 you brought in would work on the ophos without an adapter. This does not make the Ophos a 510 threading as the ce4 only uses ego style threading.

Since were on the subject!

This photo has been posted before however relates to the subject matter.

I have made so many different formulas for vaping.
I'm not a expert like TERA LABS that makes PURE GOLD.
FLAVOR is critical and PG I have on hand always.
However I get bored with the flavor after 2 or 3 days of it.
Plus I prefer CBD's over THC.
I like THC however balanced with CBD's.
For the life of me I never understood a high tech company such as TERA LABS not offering a CBD version and different flavor profiles.
So I started making my own vaping oils for medication purposes.
However I found CO2 OIL (Sativa, Indica or Hybrid based) tasted better than PG and did not give me a headache like the PG can give me. Don't get me wrong I think PG is a great product however I use it very lightly.

So all my flavor and PG mixes I shelved for now until I learn more.
Some of the CO2 oils have the same viscosity as PG with better flavor and no headaches.

The Tank, Cartomizers and 2.4 Carts do the trick for me personally.

For Carts I load clean blonde well purged waxes. (dry)
If it will melt it will load.

I like the OMNICRON, OPHOS for medicating these types of materials.
The PERSEI is the most powerful and with the HERCULES SR71 I can medicated with most concentrates.

Concerning making your own cannabis liquids I will still search for the HOLY GRAIL.
However for now I'm just medicating Concentrates made from TOP SHELF Strains for Flavor & Effect!

Cheap concentrates made by Billy Bob and Sam Peckandpaw I stay away from!

I used 2x14350 with the stock v2.5 head and tube, but using the spring bottom cap from the HVD kit and 5 ohm cart all I got was a 3x blinking pink/purplish light.

I loved my old 2.5 top shorty setup with the 14500 tube. The old top just gave out a few weeks ago and I sent it in. Got a new 2.5 top with chrome plate instead... which is great! too bad its it's a bit taller, i loved that short top stealth, wish i still had a backup

How do you know when the omicron cartridge is empty? Will vapor still come out if it is? I have some vapor coming out from mine but it doesnt taste very good..

Because it's within .2 grams of what it weighted empty. Running it dry will definitely foul the taste, and wreck the cart. I'd advise against pushing it.

The best way is to weigh the unfilled cart before you fill. All the 2.4 Ohm carts ive purchased weigh 7.9 grams but your results may vary - I cant speak for other Ohm carts because they all have different weights (and you shouldn't be using them yet anyways). When there is .2 grams of wax left (cart weighs around 8.1-8.2, its time to refill.) The wispy vapor and burnt taste is also a good sign that the cart may be empty, but it could also imply there is an air bubble. So the best is the weigh way.

I refilled the cart and its working again. It did get clogged though but i was able to unclog it with a pin, hopefully it doesnt keep getting clogged. What attachments would i need for really runny oil?

You might try the CE4 (D9 sells them with the necessary adapter for use on all but O-Phos). Ataxian is the big pusher here. He promotes PG in it, which I agree with so far, and it's mighty thin stuff. Thinner than any 'real oil' I have by a fair bit.

hey everyone, haven't been on this forum in awhile, but I've been loving my omicron v2 for a little over a year, just a quick question: what would be the best battery to use, i have heard some last longer, some seem to give bigger hits, just wondering what the FC thought? i use the IMR 14650 1000 mah on 1.5 carts :) thanks!
