Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

But, it doesn't really seem any more ornate than the one shown as the $500 tube? Just some wig wag stuff on the thicker mouthpiece tube. And it's single-turbine as opposed to double on the earlier one?
Not to worry:

Here is a link to what the $1,000 custom HydraTube will look like. It is missing an extra percolation chamber but you will see some worked sections, and a straight neck with ice pinches. Enjoy!

SO I decided to up my trade in pledge of $250 to the $500 fanatic level. I get to retain my cloud+ warranty and get the swagger turbine tube for an extra $250. I think it just makes sense to do especially after seeing the tube!

Why not just have a removable mouthpiece, like the VXL Hydracirc and Hytratree 2.0 tubes? I loved that you guys were going in this more modular direction, so why revert now?
This is one reason why . . . :cry::cry::cry:

I wonder if that means an "extra pecolation chamber" as in the Swagger Double with two discrete chambers, or if he's counting the division by the extra turbine as another chamber? Even with dual turbines I'd consider the tube we saw already a "single chamber", and I'd actually prefer that, too, as dual discrete chambers are a bitch to clean and fiddly to fill right.

Plus, if you can just stack modular HT chambers, then a fixed dual chamber design is redundant.

This is one reason why . . .

What does a broken non-modular tube have to do with abandoning modular design?

so will the early bird be a circ to turbine or a double turbine? at the moment I think the early bird looks cooler then the fanatic. but I like that the fanatic looks bigger and has a circ.

That piece, IIRC, broke sitting atop a modular HT...IE having modular tubes, that are then stackable, leads to more likelihood of a break. I know it sounds like a stretch, but it may be a reason why. Or, maybe they aren't moving away from them....It was never swagger or evolver that did modular pieces, it was VXL in house glass... :peace:

And to those talking about the original cool packaging being scrapped.
Bob Loblaw said
"...if you go to beginning of this thread they talk about an eventual storage box that never happened."

The original packaging was supposed to double as a storage box, wasn't it? I remember some rendered mock-ups, but they abandoned it due to cost. I wonder if they can do it for this generation, though, now they're flush with campaign funds?
I asked about that including pics of the old really cool design, here in the thread and on indiegogo...SM55 answered this question for me (us) in the latest Q/A sesh, saying that they would be upgrading from the plain brown box to big boy company packaging. (my words not his....didn't wanna rewatch the video.) So, I'm hoping for something nice enough to tide me over until I acquire a nice Nanuk or the like case, and a laser cut foam insert for it. (my case builder . com or something IIRC does this inexpensively)

And once again, Congrats! Wow, they really did it this time!:clap:

Thanks, Urdnot! You raised the campaign total to: $111,211!
Upgraded my cloud + that died on me in June. Whenever VXL starts up the production line and starts shipping :mmmm: I'll be at least 5 months sober and have two EVO's in my possession with no idea what to do then :dog: :puke:

You should've ordered something that cost $100 less, so the total would be $111111. I think that would mean you get a free one. :p

apologies if this has been clarified and i overlooked it...

the ad here on FC that links to the indiegogo says it's $250, but when you read it sounds like that price is only for folks who already own the old model. or am i reading that wrong and you can preorder the new model without the glass mouthpiece for only $250, meaning the glass mouthpiece costs $100 ?

You have to already own a cloud or cloud plus to be eligible for 250 upgrade. Its a trade-in program but they are letting us keep the original units. Any warranty you would have had is voided when you upgrade at the $250 level

thanks for responding.

"VapeXhale's next generation model for only $250?!" isn't exactly accurate then, is it ?

also from the indie "IF YOU CONTRIBUTE AT THE $250 LEVEL OR ABOVE, YOU ARE GETTING A NEW VAPORIZER WITH YOUR CONTRIBUTION"

So if you contribute $250, but aren't already a cloud owner and didn't understand the wording...you're screwed ?

If you spend $250 without really looking into it in the first place you almost deserve it. But yes, it might confuse some.
I would assume they would contact you and just ask you to donate the additional $100.

i'm excited to see new things from this outfit, so i hope i didn't sound negative, just feeling stupid i guess after thinking it was only $250.

i'm sure it will be worth $350.

the $250k goal is the first i'd heard about a potential portable....awesome.

Interesting, I thought it was $250 as well. Makes the $500 level even sweeter!

$250 is trade in: you have to have a pre-existing cloud registered to you (presumably) and then you can get the EVO for $250. this will void your cloud warranty. you will have a full warranty on the EVO.

$350 your existing cloud is out of the picture. you retain your old cloud warranty and get an EVO with the glass wand and a full warranty

$500 EVO and the limited edition swagger hydratube which from what i understand is the one with the lower circ and upper turbine and is the more narrow one shown in stonemonkey's videos.

$1000 get you the EVO and the larger hydratube stonemonkey showed.

correct me if I am wrong

Nevermind I found the answer

Does anyone know if its possible to grab a LE hydratube for $150 if you're already on the $250 trade in perk?

Sounds bout right. Word is your also supposed to get a $50 store credit at the $250 level. I think its just for the cloud plus users but I'm not sure. Maybe someone else can clarify that.

$50 credit is for trading a non working cloud at the $250 level

Might not be ideal on the surface but it makes good business sense. no sense is putting effort into repairing old clouds and stocking parts. try and move everyone to the new product. i think all the perks and costs are good deals.

It comes down to affordability and priority. You don't need to eat as much, do you? ;)

I'm not able to watch either one of the videos on instagram. The play button pops up then disappears and nothing happens lol. Anyone else having this problem? I can view other videos on instagram just fine.
