you are right, i definitely woulda dug it then, i'm a 90's child who many said woulda been a 60's child, but needed the punk to add the anger flava.

Ah... then maybe you were a late 60's child. Don't forget where this young man started....
I have the fine honor of being kicked in the head by him during his first crowd surf...

but Detroit rock and roll wouldn't be properly represented without this:

RIP my two good old friends; Ron Asheton and Mike Davis. :luv:

:uhoh: I'm about to do something that I never, ever do...... DOUBLE POST!!!! :p

Had to.... completely different vibe than the previous post. Shhhhhhh...... don't tell...

I was in the car today, on my way to work out, and heard a great interview with Mavis Staples. She was talking about the time Stevie Wonder wanted to try driving a moped.

Sorry if these are too mellow for you.....

Reminded me of one my favorite Stevie Wonder albums and concert, "The Secret Life of Plants."

Years ago, before my husband and I were married, we took a trip out to Colorado. We were passing through Steamboat Springs and saw that John Prine was in town. We decided to camp by one of the hot springs and go see the show. We had a large jug of cheap wine that we had planned on drinking that night. My husband looked at me and said, "well I guess it has to stay in the car." I looked at him and thought, "silly man....," turned that bottle upside down, stuck the neck down my pants and put my blouse over it. I waddled through the door like I was pregnant. :p

Something I recorded a few nights ago, for the moon. There's some clipping for the first minute but then it clears up, it gets deep if you allow yourself to be immersed. The sound is better if you download it from my soundcloud.

I used to listen to this guy's music more than anything else when I used to play online poker (before the ban)
He's amazing. I still like to go back and listen to it because it's quality music and it puts my mind right back into 2007. If you enjoy this one then I encourage you to check out the rest of his stuff. He writes different variations of anime theme songs (I don't watch anime btw). Sounds weird but it's some really good music.

Digging the TV/movie theme theme!

I like the Mash song better without words though :\

I've been catching up on the True Blood series;
the show's okay but the theme song rocks:

Anyways you be the judge

Also here's one of my favorite Metallica songs,
with a tribute to a show called Sons of Anarchy:

you should read the wiki on that mash song,
his son wrote it and why he did so if pretty funny

love SOA
bought my wife a cross over shirt that has the SOA reaper
with a clone head holding a thermal detonator instead of an '8' ball
