I will play with it when I get around to it. I just felt like buying it. I think it is funny how the screen looks domed in the pic and it isn't. I will more then likley use the omi tip or the chillum if it fits...it may fit better then the regular stem. I am having silly thoughts cause if I am going to use it straight why not just switch if I am home...lazy maybe lol.
I have used the female GonG as a dry stem and it was perfectly enjoyable.

That's really good to hear. Sounds pretty dam reliable.
They def seem to be the cheapest on ebay. I'll prob grab one from there.
I just bought a PVHEGonG 14mm (normal kind) and some 1/2"IDx5/8"OD tubing. Looks like I might be able to heat up the silicone in a little boiling water and then attach it to one of these stems and have a dedicated whip for my Solo 
Hot water and silicone works some magic together, it is very easy to get it to stretch out to at least the outside diameter size after sitting in some boiling water for a few seconds.
The plan is to do a few bowls out of my bong when it gets here with both the PVHEGonG and standard GonG, leave the one I like more in the bong and put the silicone on the other one
I knew I should have just ordered them at the same time!!! Would have saved me $7 on shipping god dammit!

Exit, you won't need to heat with that size. The silicone they have is so soft you just need like a pin or something to work it down. I use an ssv poker and it works great for me. I actually have harder 1/4" tubing on my HES stem right now and didn't heat it and got it on just fine while watching tv. The 1/2" can be taken on and off with no issue in three seconds. I did it a lot earlier on and it was the little thicker ssv tubing that I was using at that time ok still do. Now I have four sizes of tubing woohoo. That was my real reason for the order not the gong.

The tubing that came with my VAPOLUTION 2.0 was hard as a rock. So hard in fact I don't know if I'll ever get it off the large VAPOLUTION bowl
it took a lot of tries just to get it on! But that's great to hear about the PV tubing, will be really nice to not need to "choose" one or the other

give me some info is this an original ps2 slim charger or is it 3rd party according to OF it wont work but i dont believe him honestly

OF wouldn't've said it wont work, he would've said (as I do whenever someone wants to save a few $$ on the power adapter by getting the PS2 one);
Be careful with the PS2 adapter, some members got them way back in the thread, and while they did work, a few reported them severely overheating, melting etc.

I used to own a video game store(that's where I got it), so this is most likely original stock, not recently manufactued. I don't know if there would be a difference in quality between the original and a replacement: the ones being sold online these days. The amps are certainly high enough, the thing never even gets that warm. Quality on power supplies is all over the map, but I have seen many seemingly good quality power supplies fail also.

try it out yourself then. it'll either work or destroy itself
if you don't already own a ps2 slim adapter you can get the good one that is known good from jameco, mouser or digikey for as much as you're gonna pay for a ps2 slim adapter

PVHES stem should be a must buy for every Solo owner...it just makes the whole experience extraordinary.

Hey Guys, I got a Solo and I'm having some problems. I've started reading the almost 700 pages of info , but was hoping for a swifter answer. Already contacted Puffit up (must be too late..nobody home).
Ok, got the unit yesterday, charged it fully and vaped several bowls...Then I put it back on the charger until solid green..Before bed I vaped 1 bowl and then tried a second and the unit would not turn on and the blue idle light was blinking, so I thought the battery was just dead. When to bed.......Today I put the unit back on charge, waited for it to be fully charged......Turned the unit on and set the temp to 5, the unit then turned off and the idle and three yellow lights were flashing.....Now it won't turn on or off and the same lights just flash...
I hope this is just a reset glitch and not a defective unit....Please Help !
Just was in contact with Randy, said it sounds like a dead battery.....Oh well, going to have to return it for another one... :-(

That's unfortunate, but hey, if a SOLO is gonna act up it's gonna act up right when you get it. You'll be taken care of, Randy is an excellent dude and when you get a SOLO that treats you well it'll just keep going and going and going...
Fear not! You'll be back in SOLO land soon! I hope you have other vapes to make the wait nicer though
