Cooking Questions

Hey guys, I'm new here. I just got my vaporizor a few weeks ago. I have read about people cooking with their vaporized bud and was wondering if i had enough to make about a stick of cannabutter. i currently have about 5 grams. If that is not enough then i was thinking i would put a couple grams of fresh bud in. Also i have read mixed reviews on firecrackers. Are they worth it? I am hoping to make this on Friday (11-14) so any feedback would be great.

use half a stick and only use the vapor duff....add a bit of extra virgin olive oil and wallah! remember to cover the frying pan when making budder.....cook at medium low for about 30 min...strain into a bowl, cover with seran wrap and REFRIGERATE...can't miss that step....after about a nights worth your good to go on whatever is edible with butter :)

as for the fresh green...save that for more vapor budder

it makes ur set smell like your cooking low low low grad bud and makes everyone question the resinous smell in the air...get window fans sucking air out or something!

does the amount of time i refridgerate the butter after it is done cooking matter?

well i wasnt planning on using water. i was going to use a double boiler and just keep the heat low. is this a mistake?

if you use water, the plant material wold be separated easier, and most of the chlorophyll would go into the water instead of the butter

I've found that the water method does work well and helps with taste.

I have cooked with vaped herb twice, once successfully.

The first time, I used about one Oz. per stick of butter (11g fat per stick), I ate half the stick and was medicated for the whole night.

The second time, I used about half an ounce of herb in one stick, and it was very weak.

(mid-grade herb was used both times)

How vaped was your material? well-vaped or still semi-green?

I have over 50 grams of AVB that is fairly well vaped and I plan on cooking it this friday at a friends place.... we were thinking peanut butter cookies. I sure hope it turns out well...

my herb is fairly vaped id say a light brown. the recipe im looking at calls for 3 tablespoon of butter. if i put 8 grams in that then how much do i need to start with? some will be missing after i drain it right?

Although I've heard the water method is good I've only ever used just butter and it worked fine. Last batch of ANZACs I made did have about 25% fresh green and they were kick arse!
