Glycerin tincture with a candle/mug warmer?

I plan on making a glycerin tincture, hopefully for sublingual use. I read up on someone putting the bud in a coffee mug along with the Vegetable glycerin on top of a mug warmer for a few hours. I got myself a candle warmer from Walmart today ( http://www.walmart.c...Warmer/16783767 ) and was planning on trying this out soon. Is this possible? If so, how long should I leave the mug on the warmer? And also what ratio of bud, or vaped bud to glycerine should i use?

I've not done it, but you'll want it to be soaking for weeks or months, not hours or days. Grind it all up and then cover with glycerine - only use just enough to cover it, as it's going to be pretty weak using herb.

Using purged concentrate, dry sift etc. would work much better - you're going to need to use a lot to feel any effect from herb, but if you soak for long enough and just barely cover it then at least you'll maximise the effect possible from flowers.
