Max temperature is set at 220 Celsius. At one point we had some unit running somewhere around 240 Celsius: that was crazy: would blow the room into a cloud... but that was not really vaporization anymore lol.

Cleaning of the port is touchy. We have wasted more than one unit doing this. It torture me to think we have missed doing this one properly. Removing any debris must be made without damaging the USB contact peg in the middle of the port. Need good eyes, good lighting and a brand new exacto blade.

Make sure the USB port is in the right orientation and try inserting gently but persitently. Procedure is to check operation many times before sending a unit.

so should i try cleaning it or not?if not then there is no way to charge it,the plug doesnt go inside at all...like they are not compatible...and about the temperature...i put it on 8 and my material came out light yellow...almost green...that is not proper vaporization i think...

Edward Hyde,
So Inhalater Can you send me a replacement before I have to send mine back?

I ordered mine from PV so do I call PV or The company that makes XP's?

mod note: Please avoid back-to-back posts, use Edit instead. Two posts merged.

GOOD QUESTION!! Now what about the people that moved across the country and lost theirs? All I have in a credit card receipt and a video showing my problem? Please tell me you'll just send me a replacement no questions asked? It doesn't hurt to ask right? =P

Wow, cannot believe they sent that unit out like that EH.. Never really seen anything like that with any vape mfg but I have only been vaping for a few years. On top of that, I cannot believe they are actually posting here acting like it is okay that you received that. It looks like they let the intern do the cutting and epoxy, incredible.

For those questioning performance on the new shipment, I am getting good flavor and good vapor at 7. I can get 2 really good sessions (9 min each) in one capsule and then the flavor really starts to degrade if I go for a 3rd. I am using a very coarse grind (using SC Shredder) and filling full but not compacted.

i couldnt believe it either in the beggining but it looks like i gotta live with it...until the battery runs out at least, cause when the battery runs out if i still havent found a way to charge it i dont know what i am going to do...i turned it up a second time and put it throught water...at 7-8 i get less vapor that i used to get on the previous unit set at 1...i dont know wich one is ment to be normal and " better" but i liked the old unit more...at 8 it produces good vapor indeed but u gotta run it through water imo...i am really confused...

Hello Inhalater,

I received my XP 3 days ago! Thank you for all the hard work that you put into your product and for the extra capsules. Also special thanks to Kush for all his help! Moving on, I like the slick design and the build of the unit. It is strong, sturdy, convenient, clean, and nice. But I have a few questions regarding this vape. One, I have to agree with others who have said this before but the taste is not that great unless its like 1 or 2. And I can't speak for anyone else, but this vape that I am using is not giving me much clouds even at 7 and 8 let alone 1 or 2. I was watching visionaries video and he seems to be getting some amazing clouds, but so far Ive been getting light thin vapor. I also feel like I've been wasting all my herbs on this vape because I'm waiting for it to warm up (as others have suggested) to get a nice dense hit and really it's just vaping my herbs and I'm not getting dense vapor. I see that others have complained about this and I would like you to address it more than just saying turn it up to 7 or 8. I would also like to know is this normal, is there some magical way to operate this vape or is this what I can expect as a normal vaping experience. If this is normal, I wouldnt encourage others to buy this vape. Maybe someone with a newer XP who has figured this out can help me out or pass on what they've learnt. So far I've tried some prior suggestions and nothing seems to be working. I am also using this as a standalone vape so I feel like it should be capable of producing massive clouds as is.

Baffled this is the easiest vape to get clouds I've ever used. This and a Solo. Sorry to hear of your troubles....

Empathy for those who spent cash. I've been waiting to purchase this unit since it was released but have waited to see the kinks worked out. I'm still waiting...

one thinks that keeps making me believe in this company is that they keep coming back even after all the difficulties and try to make the customers satisfied...and the only reason i dont ask for a refund is that i believe that the xp can be a great unit if these people get their job together and start producing at least flawless units...i am sure that this moment is going to come and also i am sure that after all these trouble we will both have been into at the end they will have a happy customer and i will have one of the best vaporizers in the market and a company that will be there for me or anyone when needed...

back to finding a way to fix the plug...

@VapeNStone I don't think they replace units if you lose them....that might be on your part. Don't qoute me though.

That only makes sense, but I think VapeNStone is a special case here. If I understand correctly, he'd demonstrated that he had a valid warranty claim and they wanted him to return the unit, but it got lost in his move. I can see why he'd try to appeal to their goodwill, but I can also see why they'd refuse. Could go either way.

Hi Inhalater, it's a pleasure (everyday) to use my blue xp, i ordered it to KP and I didn't receive any extracapsules, you tell me after that you 'll send me it when capsules are available. It seems to me that capsules are avalaible now, what can I do to get my extra capsules?

Yes! Now that some of us have received our XP's, how can we go about getting our free capsules?

Might just be fully charged. The new units don't light up at all when you plug them in when they're at full like the old ones did.

Exactly! I wouldn't have lost it had it been working lol. I believe they are going to work something out with me though. So not to be worried.
