WooooHooo $69K and climbing! A new video of the Swagger Circ & Turbine . . .

http://igg.me/at/vapexhale/x/3723654

I know I'm dating myself but the music in that video sure is reminiscent of 1970's porn movies... not that I ever watched any  but I used to be a union movie projectionist so it was just part of my job. I suppose the music is appropriate since the video is about glass porn.

Not even... Heat the water in the microwave first...add a teaspoon of PBW, your elb's...and 10 min later, like new! I used to soak them long at first but I find hot water plus PBW works very fast. 30 min max.

I heat my ISO in the microwave for 10 seconds and then I just wash them that way. Also works in 10 minutes :)

I have no clue, I get the blinking green and read light as usual on start up but once it goes solid red I never gets hot! This is my go to vape for everything, it is my best source for medicating.

:( Same here man. Hopefully you at least have something to tie you over till October.

i thank god my still working like a charm since September 2012, maybe cause i dont leave mine all day

I don't leave mine on all day either. I think its just the wires loosening up inside. Because my cloud still tries to heat but the minute the heater is supposed to be engaged it goes into christmas mode. So I'm betting just the wires came unconnected. Should be an easy fix I would guess.

We've found that 99% of the issues have to do with the leads coming undone from the heater. In some cases the heater will blow, in other cases, I have heard people re-solder the leads back to the heater.

Mvapes - if you can wait til Oct, we can try and fix it for you... if you want to try and fix it on your own, you are more than welcome but it voids the warranty. We got your back!

I'm confused if 99% of the issues are a soldering issue why does he have to wait till October. The manufacturer can't solder a wire back on to do a warranty repair? This hardly seems like having his back IMO.

I think its because they don't necessarily know if that caused the heater to blow(If my understanding of stonemonkeys post is correct).

Almost there...
Used the search function but maybe used the wrong terms...

Can someone please explain the use of BAMBOO in the cloud and now the new Eagle?
Seems a bit odd to use it if you cannot get it wet and yet it is in the path that sometimes needs to be cleaned using liquids?
I might have this totally wrong though!

yes but he said 99% of the time its a soldering joint. So for the 1 out of 100 chance they stopped doing repairs... something seems wrong here....

Are Plus versions of Clouds also prone to this death? I thought switching from soldered joint to something more relieable was the fix number one in the Plus. At least I remember them advising customers needing warranty to upgrade to Plus so their unit doesn't break in the same way. So if these Pluses can break the same way why did they recommend that?
I don't remember them confirming it directly, but advising to upgrade so this death won't happen and claiming the Plus is much more reliable sounds identical to me.
I would like to know how it really is. My Plus has been running strong since day 1. I thought these deaths based on loose wires on the heater were not possible anymore...
The Eagle should have different wire joints on the heater, after all these deaths it would be stupid not making these wires more reliable.

The new PHS has eliminated soldier leads all together.

Thanks, that's great to hear. Makes me want the Eagle even more. Yet the wait isn't going any faster... :D
So these Plus units are still soldered? What was done to them that made them more reliable as they were claimed? I think these wires getting loose were fatalities number one.
I think the number of these death dropped down after the Plus upgrade, so now I think they were still soldered, but somehow better...

No I think the he was saying if the joint fails that can also cause the heater to fail in some cases. And since they don't have heaters they won't be able to fix it for sure. I may be wrong but that seems to make the most sense.

Wow, Mvapes, buddy! That sucks! :( Sending positive vibes your way!! Maybe get an EQ or an SSV until you can get your Cloud fixed...I saw some EQ's that were almost too cheap not to buy on on eBay! I know it's not the same, but it's what I would rely on for my cloud backup (without a second cloud)

Throw some indica Dominent hybrids in the elbow pack and chill!!! :peace:

I just said 99% in generalities as opposed to an absolute number. A large majority of the failed units had this attribute and the reason we can't repair them now has to do with our legal situation. We are not supposed to discuss our previous relationship with our manufacturer, so out of respect for that, I ask that we don't continue to ask questions about the heater issue as it adds complexity to a legal issue that we are trying to resolve. Just know that come October, we can repair it and let's leave it at that.

I'm surprised no one responded to this yet.

There's no actual bamboo in the Cloud or the new design. "Bamboo" is the term used to refer to the glass tube at the centre of the Cloud because it has a narrow restriction somewhere near the middle, so it resembles a bamboo tube.

I have a question real quick for Vapexhale, or anyone who could provide info.

So I'd love to participate in helping you guys raise money right now. My one concern is that I have to list an address to ship to. I'm moving in September and because of the location I will be living in (student residence on campus), I won't know my address for a little while.

Is there anyway I can list my current address right now and then change it once I have my new address?
