Lol and SM made a post regarding the 55k at the very top of this page ;-). I don't think it will be much longer until the campaign reaches 55k; it seems like it has picked up momentum and isn't slowing down anytime soon

im thinking right now should i spend 250 on a hydratube or try spend tad more and get a mobius matrix ion bubbler or clear mobius bubbler matrix...

im leaning towards mobius that perc looks amazing

My joint is a bit angled too. It's because the whole bamboo is not set perfectly straight in the unit. The bamboo itself is perfectly straight.
The angle is neglible, only visible when you're looking for it (like 2 degrees to the front and 1 degree to the right).
It doesn't do any stability problems and I also noticed it recetly.
I use it mostly by hand and there is much more variety in the angle anyway.

Yeah that's what I was figuring... :-) That's very much for your info. I just put my HydraTree on top and use it :-). So i'm not going to worry anymore :-D

hey everybody,
Please excuse this delayed review as the weekend was just so beautiful I was gone most of the time and the beginning of the week has been hectic as I take care of last minute business before I leave to Europe.

So about one week ago on Friday at 2:15 I met the inventor of the VXC, stonemonkey, at SPARC. After bringing some of my purple afgoo and purchasing some lemon OG I was ready for a test run. Introductions were made and stories about each other were exchanged (my health, his life, how we both grew up in the same city...) and then the machine was pulled out of it's case accompanied with a beautifully clean Vertigo glass. Stonemonkey had a salad mixture of blue dream and two other strains and I had my purple lemon afgoo and the testing commenced.

Before I go on to praise the silky smoothness of each hit, the pungent flavor of each rip, this is the BEST vaporizer I have ever used. Its like that first time you ever got high or smoked a blunt or hit a SSV properly, it's one of those moments where it changes the whole smoking world for you, and that's exactly what happened to me.

The first bowl was magnificent. Those who read earlier know I have trouble with my esophagus, honestly, at the brink of cancer, but with the smoothness of this vape, with the proper heating of the medicine, it was all just so proper that not only was there no irritation. I was actually feeling very medicated not only in my head but also my stomach and esophagus, the two most important places that get medicated. While I take my zephyr and feed it through my own bubbler and still get medicated there was just something so different, something that made it feel "right" something that just got me truly medicated and not just "vaked" off of my zephyr.

As conversation continued from development, to more about our pasts (middle school teachers even), bowls were continually being packed and I soon realized that I was so medicated I stopped paying attention to the loudness of my voice and the tapping of my foot to where I had to catch myself in my head and say, "wow its been years since I have felt like this and I LOVE it, but a get a grip." and a grip I did get, of that VXC and took another hit of that sweet succulent vapor of the gods.

Everything about this machine is perfect I kid you not. From overall look to the technology within it is the best vape I ever hit and considering Stonemonkey has 20 year patents it will be the best vape I hit for the next 20 years most likely. But besides just the technology of it and efficiency, the company is a grass roots company and I love that.

The inventor wanted to meet with me, he was interested in my story and gave me his. We grew up in the same town with the same teachers, he is on the forums, emails prospective customers and shows that he GENUINELY cares which makes me feel SAFE!!! which is VERY important to me considering this is not just some toy I grab to get high and watch the hangover, it's a very serious medical device in a world that is still clouded with smoke (no pun intended) and to know the inventor and know that he cares, makes a WORLD of difference to me and how I medicate, it helps create a calming subconscious.

Stonemonkey I would like to apologize for the time it took me to write a review on your amazing machine. I would like to thank you, from the bottom of my heart for the hard and dedicated work you do for this community and me. FC community, if you haven't tried this machine just wait until you do and those who have this review will come as a warm reminder of the great device that will adorn your and my coffee table.

Since that Friday I have not been able to get that high or even enjoy medicated as much anymore, Stonemonkey you have changed the way I medicated forever for the better, and for that I give you thanks.

Seriously, this is WHY we wake up every morning and push ourselves to do better. Making money is great no doubt, but changing lives is what ultimately is our main goal. Happy Sunday everyone, thanks for inspiring me to do more each and every day!

Mosh - would love a link to your music... Now that we are moving into the next phase of our company, we need background music and who better to use than people that support us. We've been paying the rights for music that we can use but it only makes sense to support those that have helped us along the way! :rockon:

I should get start recording then since my records are lo-fi, I have 1 decent youtube but its a different style than most of my stuff :)

I try not to be one to speculate, and create rumors, etc. So take this for what it is, pure speculation, after several dabs of some Jack the Ripper sap, and accompanying ELBs of the same flower in the Cloud. About 4 hours ago, Stonemonkey (Seibo) posted on IGG in reply to Brewer, the following:

At fist, I was :shrug: like "there would be no point that I can see in one upping the Eagle so soon, or creating a parallel vape that offers minimal difference, etc." And I just couldn't imagine what it could be. But then it dawned on me (maybe)...(I think) It might be a home/desktop vape that focuses on concentrates! :cool:

Am seriously tempted to upgrade to the eagle from my cloud, it is an amazing offer! But I am only a poor student and I think that with 3 vapes I should probably hold on until I can really afford it!! (especially as my old clicker is still kicking ass!)

I was wondering if the eagle release will have packages without hydratubes available from the start, or if there will be a slight delay like there was with the cloud? (I apologise if this has already been covered but this thread moves on so fast it is hard to keep track!!)

Currently, you can donate at the $350 level, (nimbus fanboy) and receive an Eagle, with just a dry mouthpiece, no hydratube. As well as at the $250 level, if you currently own a Cloud, you can get an Eagle and some wristbands, (no hydratube/mouthpiece). Hope this answers your question...I can't say as far as once this is all release for the public, post IGG campaign.

So VXL, is there any chance that we will see something similar to the amazingly awesome looking packaging that was scrapped from the original Cloud project?? I would Drool and be in love! :luv: :bowdown: I know it's just packaging, but it's not just packaging! haha :brow: :lol:

I theorize the HP to the Eagle is going to be like the Da Buddha is to the SSV.

Why do I think that? Well here's a quote from SM55's latest AMA:
We do plan on bringing lower priced vaporizers to the market in the future. Currently, the best price you can get is through our campaign (http://igg.me/at/vapexhale/x/3569338) as we are trying to design the best performing vaporizer, bar none. When we have more resources, we will design a "bang for the buck" model that is much more affordable.

Great point! I hadn't caught that post. Thanks! And yes, even with the current Cloud, I've been using all kinds of concentrates with the stock bowl, using my Two Cap method. I just got really medicated this morning and jumped to conclusions :D But yes, the Cloud and Eagle will be plenty capable of handling everything from flower to oil, essentially...though that's not to say that a unit dedicated to concentrates couldn't do it better ;)

But, I would much rather see a budget vape come out with VXL's name on it, for those lusting after some quality clouds on a budget!

It's been a while. I've seen the Eagle mentioned, but no thread, and know nothing about it. Can someone share a link or the basic details?

I'm going to be trying oil in my Cloud for the first time in a few days. I will probably put some between two layers of green. Any tips would be appreciated though.

The basic differences as far as I know between the Cloud and Eagle are as follows:

New perpetuheat system, including Faster heatup time (IIRC something around 4 minutes was mentioned in the currently tested unit)
Cool to the touch shell (high temp polycarbonate I believe)
detachable power cord
cooler/possibly more ergonomic design.
Longer auto shutoff timer (possibly 2 hours, as opposed to the original ~58 minutes, and the + model with 90 mins)
AFAIK that is all that has been mentioned. Check out the IGG campaign page though :)

And enjoy your adventure with oil in the Cloud, it's always a good time! I use the two cap method, but sandwiching it in between some green works just fine!

Edit* Thanks T-Dub, I knew I was missing something in that list, and something important at that! The 2 hour shutoff timer will be greatly appreciated by many, especially those who do not have a WeMo switch, or some kind of automation.
