Long term reader, first time poster here. I have been an old school smoker but finally finally finally giving up combustion. After much research, I have made the decision to get a enano. I do have some questions regarding the adapters and accessories. I have not used glass on glass joints or anything before, always been a joint, bowl and grommet fellow. I am interested in some of the water tools such as the one made for the Pinnacle. What should I be looking for when picking out items like this? What fits on a enano as it is?

I like MERCEDES as well!

Huge Mercedes fan here too, must be a connection between the elegance of the enano and the mercedes...

Just picked up my E-Nano. Andy's shop is literally down the street from my work so he made time to be around for me to just stop by and pick up my vape. Very chill cat and was telling me once he gets things cleaned up, he can have tours of his shop. One nice little surprise.. he told me I have one of the first that has laser etching on the bottom, he was pretty excited about it.

Gonna test it out tonight amongst friends... good times.

Finally acquired the necessary goods to run my early model e-Nano through its paces, and like so many before me: I find words fail to approach describing the sessions... but, WOW! is in the right direction.

The original all-glass wand is 5 1/4 inches long (a second, later batch were 5 3/8 inches long) and fits snugly into its test-tube-like polycarbonate(?) protector. I've already had the wand, in the protector, fall from my lap onto the concrete sidewalk while trying to standup -- maybe a distance of 3 feet -- without any damage to the glass wand.

My preferences with the e-Nano are shredded rather than ground, tamp lightly (just enough to keep it in the stem/bowl) so as to have nearly unrestricted airflow, and set at a start of "6 1/4". I get skim-milk draws that yield more than enough vapor during a five-second inhale. Two or three such hits will equal a session for me, and a one third full stem will accommodate usually 8-9 hits, which I would classify as "ultra-efficient". The "taste" is clean, and present noticeably during the first 4 draws, and then begins to fade. Packed loosely, the e-Nano draws akin to sipping soda through a straw; very easy draw.

I've left it "on" -- at 6.5 and even 7 -- for literally days on end, without consequence, although I would not recommend such practice to be your routine. I mention it only to highlight how little a chance there is for your world to end if you forget to shut it "off"... and you will.

Just wait until you try it with a waterpipe. You will be amazed! :smug:

Tried it last night with a small dab of oil on top of less than a quarter stem of ground flowers, after 3 huge rips I was down for the count!

Gonna test it out tonight amongst friends... good times.

I think you and your friends are going to have a pretty good time with this thing!

I got the GonG from EpicVape, which makes pairing it with a bubbler just heavenly. :)

I highly recommend one.

I am going to be getting the enano and while I don't have any gong-able accessories now, I will be getting some in the future. So I would like to pick up one of the gongs for when that time comes. Any suggestion on whether I should get the 14 or 18mm version?

You will probably find more glass to pair it with, using the 18mm. I got the 14mm, and I did have a little bit of an issue with finding the right bubbler... but, I did at my LHS.

An 18mm joint on your bubbler will also make it pair up with other things, too, without having a bunch of adaptors.

When looking for glass I look for 18mm, for the adapters for log vapes I would go 14mm. You can just slap a reducer on there and the airpath will still be wide open.

With that being said, there isn't anything wrong with 14mm joints. Don't let the joint size deter you from buying a piece that you really like. You'll be happy with either and probably won't notice much of a difference between the two when hitting the piece with a log vape... Or most other vapes.

Does anyone else hit the nano with a dry piece? I'm finding that its my favorite way to use it.

Closest I really do is just put my log on a J-Hook and use it that way, amazing hits!

EDIT: z9 is completely correct, I should expand. I prefer looking for 18mm female joint pieces because it allows for more options of accessories and ash catchers and you can always put a reducer on it to use a 14mm bowl. But DO NOT let this prevent you from getting a piece you want/love/need!

Reading the above comments made me realize that I gotta find a nice bubbler for my E-Nano. I have the 18mm GonG adapter if anyone has any suggestions. I have a huge bong but I just wrapped it away it was too big and I didn't think I would get the necessary airflow anyway.

Anyhow, I came on here to say, that I have one of the first released to the public E-Nano's and it is still rocking. Shit is kicking my ass right now. I've found that actually the less you put in, the better it operates. I had two half full stems, and then I tried a quarter full or maybe 1/8th and it is delivering crazy hits.

I love this beautiful hand crafted machine. :-)

Thank you all for the info, I still am not sure which to get, maybe Ill just dig up some change and get both, or I should do more research on exactly what i want to connect to it. I will probably still go dry about half the time.

What do people think of the hydrotubes and aquavape attachments of the world? I am really intrigued by these.

I've used a Pinnacle Hydro Tube with a log before, worked well, doesn't sit secure in place like it would on a Pinnacle since there's play in the bowl on my log. For the cost, I would rather try and find a nice small bubbler, maybe just keep an eye on the classifieds.

Hmm, that is a good thought. My wife does have MS and epilepsy and does tend to drop or break things on accident. I was thinking that these "in line" attachments may be easier for her to use but now I am second guessing that. Do you think going the bubbler route may be more secure and easier?

I think so, then the only moving element isn't the whole piece and trying to hold them together, but just placing your e-nano onto the bowl while the bubbler is sitting on a desk/table. I would look for something with a wide base, lower center of gravity possibly.

I have an Aquavape, but I've never used it with the ENano, as I don't have the right tubing for it. When I did use it (with my NO2), I was not very impressed. Of course, that was using silicon tubing. The having to set it down, along with setting down the vape, and having to pick things up and use two hands every time (sometimes three would have worked better) was a bit awkward. And, it really is a bitch to clean & dry out.

That said, I think if you actually used the UD tubing that it's designed for, you would have a better experience with it, but I haven't bothered, as the bubbler works so very well, and cleans so easily.

OK I have all kinds of glass adapters. The one I love a lot right now is the J-HOOK.
I use my different ASH CATCHERS setup with one of my vapes.
The smaller the water path the better.

Anyway I've been checking out what is being said about the performance of the NANO. I want to add more vaporizers to my small collection. The ones I have are amazing however My Wife thinks I take too long to medicate!
My question is to you or whoever feels compiled to give their input?
All new Nanos are now indeed naked unless ordered otherwise. Going to making some walnut burl Nanos this week. 'Ataxian' Those teak handles are awesome.

If I wait for the wood I prefer I may never try this this thing.
The size and power is what impresses me most.
Plus EPIC VAPES is making them so well!
My work bench is made from MAPLE so at least the MAPLE NANO will blend in my wood shop well!
I'll need a special one for my car!

...to my preceding post (where I began with WOW!), allow me to add that -- through a dry water piece -- it is very easy to over indulge. The added length in air path, from load to back-of-throat, permits the vapor to cool significantly, and tastily masks the amount being inhaled. :whoa: Carry on!!

Nice to hear. I'm sure you won't be dissapointed. It's the only vape I use nowadays.

Edit: nice to see someone's minding my temp readings (for those of you wonder, the post with the temps is on page 63)

I forgot that you posted that information. I was going to do a similar experiment with an object (probably a piece of copper) in the gong which I'd hit with an IR thermometer after hitting the nano on a given setting. Which would obviously be less accurate, but it'd give me somewhat of an idea of the temp.

I've been using a kilowatt meter with my e nano and the readings have been interesting. I've been meaning to graph the results. I eventually will... When immediately turned on and turned to 10 the E Nano draws around 18 watts if I remember correctly and eventually stabilizes at 15.0 watts even, as advertised. I originally started using it because i wanted to see if the temperature and power draw had a linear relationship with the numbers on the dial but ive been too busy to run my experiment. I have two E Nanos that i plan om testing with. Just because I'm curious.

Now I look at my glass collection and want to throw it all away.
So many glass pieces to pair with this small bundle of joy!
When it arrives please forgive my photo's with my low income glass collection.
In a couple of months I will have my glass revised.
Plus if the NANO makes my wife happy then it was the right thing to do!
The show must go on!
