I'm not a Halo, or GoW fan.

My allegience is to CoD and the new World at War, due out this next Tuesday! Yea! The BETA is out on the dashboard for download if you don't have it till Sunday. We could party up.
Been looking forward to it, the new release.
But mostly CoD4, Guitar Hero, Rockband. I'm almost always up for some CoD. I will have them all 2-5.
Anyone think they could out shred me in some guitar Hero? Not amazing but skilled indeed.
Don't ask if I play the real thing, and defenitley don't brag that you can, its just for fun.

Haven't been gaming much lately though, just got Total Home DVR, by ATT Uverse.

Hey guys, been loving my Genie I get to use at work EVERYDAY!. Just pop in the back when its slow and take some drags of the pipe and back to work. I still use my bong, but its like an old friend to me, dependable. I'm looking to upgrade to a real setup, sometime soon. Doesn't matter wich setup really, I, just want one with a whip that has Dual Screens. Those look kickass. The model I would choose would seem unconsequential with that whip. Just something basic.

My gamertag is opaquePancake, I usually play CoD4 but I've been known to play the occasional round of Halo 3. I probably won't get any more games than those until at least Christmas, since money is a bit tight, but if you ever see me online, feel free to add/message me! I am down for team play. The new gears is sick, and the way the matchmaking works on it, it is way better to play with a team full of freinds, because finding players to team with can take several minutes. we could even start a clan, the extreme somthing or other.

How does the Gears matchmaking compare to Halo 3's? I prefer Rainbow, but the matchmaking in Halo is so far superior that I don't bother with Rainbow much anymore.

Gears 2 matchmaking is great... I picked it up a while ago and have been busting brains for a few days now.... GOW2 is one sweet fucking multiplayer game...

anyone else pick it up? We should play together.

I read on some forums that GOW2 is slow to find matches online. Anyone else have this problem? I won't run out to buy it until they fix it if it is true.

It takes a little bit of patience , but it isn't really that bad. Once you find a team you can stick with them all night.... which makes it a great mutliplayer game for finding 3-4 friends and sticking together, busting baddies all night.

If you pick it up stickstones, you so won't be dissapointed... their is a horde mode with just waves and waves of baddies (see how long you, or you & a friend can survive), the story mode is epic, and their are even bots included in the game so you can practice by yourself.

nice SA...I haven't played a game with good bots in ages.

Anyone out there video-smoke with friends? Or video vape? My buddy who moved to Arizona and I usually smoke while on video once a week or so. Instead of talking on the phone we fire up the vape's and talk "face to face". I have actually also done this with people as close to 4 or 5 miles away. Always fun.

WoW. I got so damn addicted to WoW that I had to give my 'puter to my sister and make her promise not to give it back to me for about 3 weeks. Talk about getting sucked into another reality.

Fairly certain he meant CoD:WaW (World at War) and not World of Warcraft (which is what I'm assuming you are talking about since you reference a computer and not an xbox).

But speaking of MMORPG's for the PC, yeah WoW was and still is a great game. I've been playing them for as long as I can remember.. Started with UO (Ultima Online) when it came out, then switched over to EQ1 (EverQuest) when that released in 1999.. Tried a few things in between EQ1 and EQ2 (like Asheron's Call, Dark Age of Camelot, and Shadowbane). I was very excited for SWG (Star Wars Galaxies) which sadly, sucked, and EQ2 just didn't have that "feel" that EQ1 had. That's about when I gave WoW a shot and absolutely loved the PVP. Some really complex raiding going on as well. The one downside was the amount of immature assholes who played. Oh, and wait times to log in due to over population of servers..

Since my WoW days, I've tried a few other MMORPG's such as VG (Vanguard), DDO (Dungeons and Dragons Online), AoC (Age of Conan), and WAR (Warhammer Online), none of which really caught my interest for more then a couple of months. I'm basically waiting for Star Wars: Old Republic to come out, at which point I'll have to upgrade my system in order for it to run, lol.

But yeah, WoW is the big daddy of them all.. Last time I played there was something like 300 servers, and over 9 million accounts. (Not sure how many of those are active, but just think of the $$$ that game generates at $15 bucks every month just to keep playing it!
