I think VXL has got the point by now ... they get it ... lots of FC members don't like the name. Got it. Now that we've voiced our opinion, now lets stop whining and start supporting their decision (I can easily get behind StoneMonkey's explanation/defense of the name regardless of my personal feelings on the naming matter). Doesn't VXL deserve our support and not criticism? Voicing our opinions on the matter once is constructive criticism ... harping on it is just mean and non-value added (just my

They buy it because what's they go, "Hmm I need insurance, what's a good company..."
And then Geico rings in their head immediately as a choice because it's so heavily advertised and advertised very well. Their commercials excel at garnering attention and focus in an unfocused TV commercial viewer world because they are usually valuable to the viewer (a good laugh from comedy is valuable).
It didn't have to be a gecko. They have talent with humor & attention while hammering into their minds it's cheap insurance. Even their caveman commercials did well.
Aaaaaanyway, god... I apologize for the off topic nature of this post but I want to emphasize that naming this vaporizer the eagle will not kill the product. The vast majority of people want to know about features and benefits.
We gotta lay off the "backseat business" type of posts a little.. we should probably stop suggesting names because they have decided on what they want and its their company.
Go read this book or this book and get back to me and let me know if you still think naming this product the VapeXhale Eagle is of dire importance.

Really? Everyone I know, knows nothing of the Cloud or pretty much the act of vaporizing as a whole. Volcano is synonymous with it, yet still the amount of those who vape or have any knowledge of it, most likely still hovers around 5%. It's a niche market to say the least...
Shit, most people think their China glass POS bong is awesome. You make mention of Toro or Sovereignty and they're like "whaaaaa??".

The Volcano is extremely popular yes, but you're implying the reason is because it's named the Volcano? It's that simple? So it's mostly the name, and has less to do with how the company manages their business (ranging from R&D, production, marketing, availability at shops, etc.)?
Products don't float by simply on the name. There are a lot of separate factors that contribute together to make a successful product. The name is a small fractional part of the marketing aspect of the business.
If names were so important and features & benefits were not, then there would be no point in vaporizer review sites fighting for good SEO spots on the SERPs, vaporizer youtube reviewers, etc. They wouldn't bother comparing/contrasting because of no demand for it -- the only thing driving vaporizer sales are the sly companies coming up with cool names... that's not what we see though. It's just not that simple. And I agree with you that Eagle isn't our favorite name. And I'm not saying that a name makes absolutely no difference. Good branding is always helpful. I just don't see the name "VapeXhale Eagle" as a nail in the coffin. They're not naming it the "VapeXhale Turd."
By the theme of what you've been saying, shouldn't Toro, Sovereignty, Mothership Glass, Mobius, etc. be excelling and most popular because of their cool names? Yeah it's expensive glass, but hell, the Volcano is an expensive vaporizer. No, there are a lot of factors at play here besides names. Like features and benefits. Cheaper Chinese glass has a benefit of a good price. So demand from those with less to spend goes there. People who have more to spend and want better quality go with the nicer glass listed above.

I've been in LHS and seen "clouds" all over the place, but they weren't the VXH. So, I really do understand the name issue.
I also work in state gov. I'm rather familiar with the whole trademark vs registered name, and all the legal ramifications of market branding.
I have no problem with "Eagle". Hell, if they just wanted to say, "VXH IT", It'd work for me. Cuz, it is IT, ya know?

I like cloud XL dude! Like the fattest clouds on earth, XL size!!
In fact I like it for the new unit, as it is an evolution of the Cloud.

VapeXhale HP for higher primate sounds pretty cool. I do think of an HP printer though like Stu said... lol.
VapeXhale CloudER --- no opinion really. Don't dislike it but I don't overly like it. Neutral.
VapeXhale CloudXL --- when I say that out loud a few times it feels kinda redundant.
Just my opinions.
