Welcome to the forum. I'll repeat what I wrote to the last newbie who has a problem reading for 5 minutes. If the folks here had something to say. They would say it.

"The answers to all those questions is contained in the last few pages of this thread. you might start by reading back 3 pages and 90% of your questions are answered."

no ones asking anyone to read the thread but literally those questions were all recently answered.

I will add my replacement XP Continues to function and is still the best portable I have ever tried and the flimsy capsules continue to work fine with 9+ months of daily use....

BTW: Evapped my jar of everclear and got nearly 7 grams of reclaim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks for the response. I completely understand. I've actually read way more pages of this thread than I'd like to admit. I appreciate you not completely flaming me and actually adding some input. Hopefully my xp will be shipped out tomorrow from kush but I'm in cali so it will probably still be a while until I get my hands on it. I'm so excited for my first vape from the response I've been hearing about the newest units being produced.

Hey everyone, guess it's about time I start posting on these forums, been lurking for quite a while but this is the thread that brought me to FC!

I ordered my XP off kush_p off eBay in February. Seeing the bad luck some people were having with getting their items I was worried it would take a while to receive mine, but after been sent from Canada on the Friday it, somehow, reached my postbox in Ireland on the Monday. <- I imagine this could anger some who've been waiting so long for theirs!
It is my first vape so I have nothing to go by but wow did I love it. Brought it everywhere with me and spread the word amongst my friends who equally enjoyed it! It produced big clouds when the temperature was over 5 for any reasonable length of time and the battery was amazing compared to other vapes I read about online.

The heating light stopped 2 months in after falling about a foot onto a carpeted floor which I thought was a bit tender! I didn't mind however and it wasn't until the USB port completely dislodged from the unit in May that I had to send it back. Customer support was very helpful and I've already received a replacement vape (took around a month) and I've also bought another one (white) off the same eBay vendor.

Both vapes I have at the moment are the new ones with the serial numbers.
Have noticed a few small differences;

- The capsule is definitely shorter in length than the previous XP model. I've read people saying their capsule was shorter compared to the 004 but maybe the first model I got somehow was still them same the length of the 004...dunno.

- It seems as if I have to put it on a higher temp, say 7 or 8 for a longer time to achieve the same clouds as I would have got on a 5 or 6 before. Obviously a result of the temperature dial been altered for accuracy. It doesn't really bother me as clouds are never really my goal, although they can be great!

- The dial on the white model I received came off relatively easily after a friend mishandling it. It was easy to put back on, just in case anyone starts to freak out if it happens to them. I would fathom a guess and say it's something to do with all the reinforcement they applied to the USB port which could have made the bottom not as securely attached. My friend was mishandling it though so hopefully shouldn't be anything to worry about.

All in all I have to say it's a really great vape. I can't draw a greater list of comparisons as I haven't got to use it as long as I'd like...and the weed I have atm is unfortunately average which could definietly bias a performance review! First time vape/buyer's happiness aside, I can't see myself wanting to upgrade from this vape anytime soon...which usually would be unlike me. The portability and discreteness of this is unreal.

Euphoria, welcome to the forum and the fun. That is wonderful news about you greatly liking the new xp. I hope it doesn't fail like the old ones.

One thing I guess I should warn you about is that you will get another vape and maybe even get the disease known as vas which is vape acquisition syndrome:lol: .

Haha I fear for that in the future alright, but for the next while I'm in budget mode for holidays so will be spending little!

Does anyone know if the temperature table given here (http://vaporpedia.com/wiki/Inhalater_INH004#Temperature_Settings)
is still accurate or would there be some changes in the XP?

I wrote the wiki article based on info provided from INH for the original INH and has not been updated since last september when I wrote that article.

Let me give you a tip. Only newbies ask that question because in reality how the vapes perform is what matters and trying to corelate temp between vape A and Vape B is futile. It never works. Maybe the only useful info is the lowest temp low enough for low temp vapes and other herbs and is the high end high enough to extract CBD's and get the full spectrum of effect. The INH and XP handle both ends of the spectrum with ease.

knowing the temp associated with any vapes settings is only useful relative to itself.

1. it wont compare unit to unit on many vapes.
2. it certainly wont compare vape to vape. Why? different designs, different positions of sensor(s), different averaging algorithms,etc....

hope you enjoy your new vape.

Why are the well known members putting down the new members by calling them "newbies" and talking to us like we are dumb? We just want to know about the Vape. Any further comments are unecassary. If I ask a question about the vape that was already asked 4 pages ago I'm asking about the MOST UPDATED XP VAPE NOT THE OLDER UNITS!
SO I will ask my questions because thats what this forum is for.
Does anyone have any reviews for their NEW XPS the LATEST ONES? Are they working properly? and also has PV started shipping preorders out yet? still haven't gotten my email YET........

This is exactly what people are talking about. I just posted less than 10 posts back about PV shipping preorders. Give us a break if you can't be bothered to read what we post.

I know and I did read that trust me but I didn't get my preorder email and I was wondering if anyone OTHER THAN YOURSELF has gotten one. If you already said you got one I dont know why you would say anything at all. I was asking for new input.
Not trying to be annoying or rude I just wanted some more info because the FC community is like the most helpful way of finding out info.

The term "newbie" isn't necessarily a put-down and ru_frothi wasn't treating you as though you were dumb, he was dealing with your apparent lack of understanding of why asking about temperature comparisons between designs is futile. Repeating questions recently asked shows that you haven't made an effort to read the thread and don't care whether you are cluttering it up with repetitive information.

I've reviewed the posts and nobody was rude to you. On the other hand, calling someone else a troll is rude and breaks our rule:
  • No flaming. Please do not post any messages that harass, insult, belittle, threaten or flame another member. Be nice to newbies.
Notice that the rule uses the term "newbies". Don't take things so personally and count yourself lucky that I haven't given you a point.

So you are calling me a Troll now? And you think that is funny?

Do not respond to inflammatory posts. If someone is breaking the rules, use the Report link at the bottom of the post.

Anything further along this line will incur a warning point.

Welcome to the forum, glad your enjoying your first vape...... Thanks for sharing your info. I take it the knob that fell off was an older model before they added the bolt to hold it on? I too had the knob fall off on every INH prior to the model with the hex bolt but since then its been solid.

make sure you get a Water Pipe Adapter and try the INH through a bong

I'm so happy you had a great first vape experience.....

I went through a vapolution, and MFLB, and an easy vape then I finally bought a solo and my love for vapes started. Still love my solo for its flavor and sentiment but as I've said before the INH is nicely improved solo in IMO.

Nice to see you getting good results with your first purchase.

Welcome to FC

Got my XP from PV early today, serial is #1162. Let it charge all afternoon and just got back to test. On my 2nd session on the same capsule and I already know this vape is going to replace my Pinnacle - as long as the battery time is good. I am about 10 minutes into a capsule and the flavor is still amazing considering the clouds I have been pulling through my Ion bubbler. So far just running on 7. So excited I had to post without even checking out the ABV, guess I have been really desperate for a good portable! Now, please dont break!!!!

Toros, you didn't have the 04 did you? If you didn't it explains your reaction. I love the 04, it is reliable and hits like a beast. The battery life is great as well and the xp is suppose to be better. If they fixed the kinks it should be great for you. I still like my PN for the quick change bullets but for where you use it I would use the xp without a mind thought.

As much as I love my INH 004, after a week of camping by the beach, I have to say a Lotus would be a better choice for the outdoors. The long charging times of the INH meant we should go out to the village and spent 4 + hours at a coffee shop or reastaurant so I could have 5-6 sessions. Not practical.... I know a solar charger would save me but a fast one is rather expensive...

Why are some of you guys putting it through a bong? Won't running it through water reduce the THC content?
