Cheap High Quality Bubbler

I understand your aversion to china glass, but one that I would still point out for it's awesome price is a Cheech diffuser bizanger. All judgments against cheech and china glass aside, it is honestly a sick hitting piece and fairly well made despite being china glass. Can be had for around 100$.

If you want American glass, I grabbed this bubbler last week for 130$ made by Everest Glass Works which is an american company that primarily focuses on small sized tree percs.

This looks just like my black leaf http://www.planetvape.ca/black-leaf-smoke-shower-micro-circ.html I got from planetvape to use with solo. The site says it's made by toro glass? Who ever made mine did a fine job! It rips!

The Micro Circ (the perc) was first made by Toro, IIRC. I'm not sure if the site means to say they buy the finished percs from Toro directly, or if the design/concept is a Toro original. It wouldn't be that hard for a glassblower to do, but I'm confused as to why the mention is made... Anyways, if it functions well, who cares?

To anyone who has ordered from Pipes Daddy, can you please help me out with the following questions:
1) How discrete is their packaging and credit card statement?
2) Did you have to be present to sign for the package? I'm at work when USPS, UPS, etc delivers.
Thanks!

Thanks guys. I contacted support at the same time as I posted it, but I wanted to hear from you guys as well. Support told me that the shipping and c/c statement are discrete, and that I can request to not have to sign for the package when it comes. Awesome! Now let's see how quick the delivery is! :)
EDIT: I ordered this bubbler to use with my Pinnacle, by the way.

Hey Shmoo, you know I ordered an equal piece.... It should take quite long (as usual) to arrive here, so if you get your hands on yours, will you please write some kind of simple review? I was to order the infamous, but as far as its connections are 18mm and not 14mm I decided to go for this one. It looks like a nice piece, at least from the advertised photos :)

Cheers!

Sure! I'll take some pictures and write a review once I get it and use it for a bit. I'm no glass expert, but I'll try my best. It definitely seems like a nice piece, and for $33.33 after shipping, it's a steal! :brow:

The bubbler: http://www.pipesdaddy.com/14mm-Snakster-Glass-Bubbler-Clear-p/bb-0101-0005.htm

Alright, so first off I just want to say I really had a good experience with Pipes Daddy. Their customer service was quick to respond and they shipped the next day (I ordered it late afternoon). The packaging and credit card statement are discrete, and the bubbler was packed well. It was wrapped in a ton of bubble wrap and placed in packing peanuts, so there's no way it was going to break.

So, onto the bubbler itself. I really like it! for $30, it's a steal. Everything looks fairly straight inside, which I was surprised by. The glass doesn't feel too thin either, which again impressed me. Also, the glass doesn't have a yellow tint to it like the picture on Pipes Daddy's site. That's just some shoddy photography.

It also says "TRUE GLASS" on the side, which is alright I guess. I would prefer it without it, but it doesn't bother me too much.
I tried it with my pinnacle and it was really nice. Chugs quite well and cools down the vapor really well, especially for its size.
This is $10 cheaper than the infamous, yet I almost think it may be better. Highly recommended! :D

Sith I care
Oh, the Snakster. Just been looking at it myself. Weird thing is I could've sworn it was $24.99 just a few days ago. I know another pipe I was watching quietly went up $5 a couple weeks back, so it might not just be me misremembering.

The Snakster lacks the more standard 18mm input on the infamous, and the mouthpiece isn't removable, so the versatility is missing, too. Can volume is very similar, possibly the Snakster's win. The six-slot circ on the infamous actually works pretty damn well for vapour, though. Tames it just enough while keeping a lot of taste, and has very low drag. If you're only buying one bubbler, I'd take the infamous for $10 more every time. Plus the Snakster has that ugly text logo on it (which Pipesdaddy's photos do a good job of hiding).

I'm considering grabbing a Lotus soon, though, and I think the Snakster would pair great with it to make a portable vaping kit. Doesn't hurt that's it's the only non-awful 14mm-input option Pipesdaddy has, too. I could just use another infamous and a 14-to-18 lo-pro reducer, but that'd be $20 difference, or 40% more than the Snakster. Hard to justify in a kit you are taking with you, and may be lost, stolen, or have to be discarded. Would pack into a hard case easier, though.

P.S. Shmoo, send your photos of the Snakster to Pipesdaddy and tell them use them instead of their shitty photos. :p

Just bought the Snakster! I really like the size (and price), can't wait to give it a shot! :D

I wanted something inexpensive with a 14mm connection for my GonG stems and Underdog

I also have my eyes on the Vapor Brothers Mini Hydrator, and might grab that on payday too!

I wanted a 14 mm connection for my Pinnacle, and I didn't plan on adding anything onto the piece, so versatility isn't an issue for me. I could see the infamous being better for some, but hey everyone has their preferences. The 15-slot circ on the snakster is really good, and I don't feel like there is a lot of drag either. Again there might be less with the infamous, but it still isn't an issue for me. And yeah the text is ugly as hell, and I tried removing it with Goo-Gone and a knife but had little success. Apparently I would need a very sharp razor blade to scrape it off, but I don't have time for that lol. The text is luckily where you see it the least, so it doesn't bother me much.

I'm sure you'll love it! If you could, post a milk shot video/picture. :D I would do a video but the Pinnacle doesn't exactly "milk" glass quite as well as a home vape does.

I did, however, take one "semi-milked shot" during my last session.

My girl friend bought this little oil rig w/ an adapter double F/M which she uses w/her solo and the piece was built well and for 49 bucks and the free shipping (BTW thanks to all who turned us on to pipes daddy, item came as fast as light speed 3days from WA to south FL packaged well, good peeps @ pipesdaddy) The unit works great w/ the solo and milked up thick and the pull on it was easy, not a fancy rig, but suffice for her and I admit,I like it also!! I think she did well, she and her friends dab. (Im liking that style of getting medicated, new to me other than old school hash oil on joints) The piece was China boris. and 5mm on most of its build. We are becoming glass junkies, Is that GAS in other terms?? What a blast, Itching for another piece here soon. Most likely buying another piece from Jhan. He has some very nice side car bubbs, Im looking at this one. I say it could be worse, but coming down with GAS is so much sweeter than coming down with the FLU! with GAS it goes away when you buy another piece....but the fun thing is comes around again and again with no ill effects other than a little less $$ for flowers and a big smile while holding in the hit:smug:...........:peace:

I recognize that TRUE Glass logo. I had a little beaker bong with a perc like that a few years back. It was nice and cheap. I think I might grab one of these to accompany my Solo

What should I buy to plug a whip into this?

Colie Glass do whip to GonG adapters for $20 including postage. I'm not sure if the FC discount applies to such a small item but the price seems pretty low already. I suppose it won't hurt to ask. If it does then it would only be $16(20% FC discount) if you pay direct or $18(10% FC discount) if you pay through paypal. I'd double check that the inner diameter of the tubing you use matches the GonG adapter though before ordering.

I might also be worth browsing through the water pipes on there to see if there is anything that takes your fancy as they often give deals if you buy items together, remember to take the FC discount I mentioned above off the prices when looking at them. All of the stuff there is made with Schott or Simax glass so it's very good quality glass and it's made in the USA so you'll be supporting a local blower rather than a Chinese company who will be paying a sweatshop blower a pittance.

I wish I was out in the states sometimes so I could get all the cheap stuff. For me the postage kills all the deals.
