Firewood Vaporizer

Grow Goddess

Oil Snob
Reminds me of an old school dugout.

Yes, it looks like the old school dugout to me too, that is what caught my eye.

I will assume the Firebox is made in USA. I like my wood pipes and bowls, even though I don't really use them anymore.

Since it looks so cool (like an old school dugout) I shared it at other sites.

Here is my old dugout, back left. On the right, monkey pipe. In the front center is more exotic, bet you can't guess what kind of wood that was made from. The main body of my dugout was hand carved from the center of a black cherry log and the top was made from the center of a black walnut log.
The dugout and other pipe were hand made for me by a Native American. :)

Okay, I will tell you. It was made from the mysterious witch hazel tree. A very difficult wood to work with too!

Grow Goddess , your combustion tools are pretty much like mine . Now I only vape but the last pipes I used the most were one of Eds TnT dug outs one of his "tokes" and monkey pipe plus a monkey pipe fishermans friend . I know the Firewood will be in my collection before the end of the summer to help round out my wood vaporizers . so far I have a MFLB , VG Volta , classic VG classic , and my Vapor Lithes .

Can't wait to be able to pick up a firewood , all the reviews here are really good so it seems like a no brainer.

Hello all, newbie here. I'm debating getting an MFLB or a firewood, and seeing as there are so many firewood owners here (compared to the tons of MFLB owners i can find almost anywhere) and the creator I decided I had to register to ask some questions!

First of all, the firewood in pictures looks much larger than the MFLB. This is obviously a trade-off for it to be stronger. Can it be held stealthily in your hand/pocket though? There is a picture on the firewood site showing it in the pocket and that looks like it might be a bit noticeable, but maybe not.

I know the battery isn't replaceable, so I'm a bit concerned how long it will last. I'm interested in taking it skiing and camping. I feel like skiing would be fine, but camping might be more of an issue, although I could always bring papers which is a lot easier to do than skiing.

Finally, and this is to the creator/people with inside info. Is a V2 coming along soon? I also saw debate about the new mouthpiece as opposed to the old mouthpiece and which is better, is that a big deal?

There will probably be another model at some point but there are definitely no concrete plans or a design yet so it would probable be awhile before it comes out. I am not even sure if my next project will be a portable though - i have some ideas for a plugin that I want to experiment with when i get some time. I'd love to test the limits on how concentrated i can make the vapor.

As far as portablility of the current unit is concerned, my goal was to make it easily pocketable, and I think it is. I usually put it all by itself in a front pocket and it really isn't noticable... even if it is, it looks like a smartphone would look in your pocket. When I designed it for pocketability, a really important factor for me was how thick it is. I'd rather have a flattened out vape so that there is nothing bumping out of my pocket, which is why the Firewood is about 3/4 inch thick everywhere except for the windows, which are a little thicker. You really don't get anything jutting out of your pocket.

Also, I have used it skiing. I put it in a zipped breast pocket and never noticed it was there.

Firewood who do you use for shipping service within the US? I looked and couldn't quite get a definitive answer on the shipping.

Just vaped a nice chunk of Blue Dream out of my Firewood! It definitely gets the job done to say the least.

I received my Firewood and Inhalater XP on the same day, and hands down, the Firewood tastes 100 times better.
I would later like to do a comparison review on which I prefer more, but I am enjoying both at the moment. I would recommend getting a small tube to go onto the firewood mouthpiece though, it can get warm.

Looks like he put some new types up on the website! Lots of new wood colors..awesome.
Maybe im late to the party, I've been campin in the mountains for a while.

Time to toke another bowl out of this thing

Thanks. The purpleheart will get a lot darker, almost black eventually. You can avoid that with a UV resistant stain, but those i prefer an all natural finish and I think a dark purple/black might look better anyway.

Any plans for the other wood types to have an unfinished version? I'm thinking no because of increased costs but that purpleheart is just so nice.

Hi Firewood,

Do you ship units in Europe?, and do you make 220V units or only 110V?

yep, like mrweed said, they work at your voltage, you just need a plug adapter.

We can ship to Europe, just let me know if your country is not yet on the list and I'll figure out the postage and add it.

Yo Trever good to see u here! After ur recommendation of the firewood I have spend the pass days looking up all about it, and it seems its a winner. Good job Marc they look lovely.

One question for Marc, do you ship to Hong Kong? Can I choose a different shipping method that will get it here faster?

Also just one last question, how does it compare to the Solo? I know solo is like god of vaporizers, but the look of the firewood it's just too captivating.... I have never tried Solo, my one and only vaporizer was the iolite and I had a bad experience with it.. It's now dead too..

Thanks again gurus of the vaps!
