Vapes on Planes - Traveling With Vaporizers

I never used one but a lot on here like them and have them. I don't like lighters and I would combust more then likely. You can get one I think for 40 bucks so why not try it? If not for this trip your next one. One of these days I may get around to trying one but a lot on this forum think for me it won't work and I agree. I more then likely would throw it through the window lighter and all:lol: .

Yeah same here dreamerr. I'm just trying to keep it simple. I watched a vid of someone using the glass Sherlock vapor genie but the flame and use of the wick turned me off.
I'm also really not into any vape that can combust. They have a place for many but I just figure if it is borderline combusting then there is no point.

Well it take a a little practice(at least it did with my VG bat), but after two or three tries, I fully got the hang of it, and never combusted again. I can't speak for the other models, but the bat is for the most part is easy to use, even for beginners.

Well, I did not have too many chances to try the VGcoil "native" before, but you know, when you don't have some other alternative -vape available- (I traveled with some friends and we just had a solo and a coil, so meanwhile the solo was recharging...), I could only choose between rolling a paper joint (my friends did, they like it, and I tried just to reinforce I can't stand smoke taste anymore) or mastering the coil, and that's what I did. It works fine, I can tell you guys, it just need some bit of learning and practice!! :)

Just my 2c, hope it helps

Cheers!

I don't think anything could be undetectable by metal detectors. Metal detectors can be seen everywhere in modern society that they are mainly applied in airports, stations, important conference rooms, supermarkets and many other public places where there are a large flow of people. The most common are walk through metal detectors and adjustable hand held metal detectors. They are universal all metal detectors that enable to detect ferruginous and other non-ferruginous metals. quoted from [spammer link removed].

You aren't trying to hide anything from metal detectors since you aren't carrying the vapes on your persons. It should be thoroughly cleaned, disassembled, and put in your luggage. If there is no battery then you should have no issues at all, even if it is dirty you might still be ok. But like others have said, a vape like the Arizer Solo would set off red flags for reasons other than drug paraphernalia.

Are these just battery reasons because I don't recall any other reasons?

in too deep...
I traveled throughout Europe 2 weeks ago with a ecig and juice cart... Kept them separate and with a cap on the cart. I had melted wax into my pg/vg juice with not very satisfying results. The good news, made it thru the whole trip without issues & was able to really medicate in amsterdam with the clean spare wax cart i brought ;)

Did you notice many other people using ecigs in Europe, not necessarily for cannabis but for nicotine (though how could you tell really)? I hear ecigs are getting quite popular there.

Beware, may not apply in Europe, my son just got back from camp and both bags had the notice in them for searching. In one bag was his electric toothbrush and the other had the camera. I don't know if it was the batteries or random but it is concerning. I don't know if they can do anything with a solo or any other vape as they are not illegal. My thought is when they see them do they really ripe your stuff apart, then pull you out and check you even better then they did the first time:shrug:.

I'm sure someone has probably already said this but as I've only just spotted this thread I'm gonna say it anyway........

There's too many motherf***ing vapes on this motherf***ing plane!

Would it be possible to bring AVB capsules on a plane from New York to thailand? I plan on eating a few capsules before the plane ride. Like 5-7. But since its a very long ride( I think 14-18 hours? I'm not exactly sure at the moment) I would like to take some more capsules on the plane so I can be cozy the whole ride.

I think you would be making a serious mistake. Fancy spending a decade or two in the Bangkok Hilton? You would probably get away with it but to me it seems unnecessary. Consume them before you get on the plane but save yourself the stress of taking them through security. My 2 cents.

I'd just take a larger dose before leaving/pop 'em before going through security. A normal dose can keep me medicated for 4-8 hours, I bet it'd last longer if I increased the grams.
Like Mr. Gweilo 420 said, you'd probably get through anyways, but I doubt it's worth the consequences if you get caught.
BTW, NY to Bangkok took me about 18 hours.

I've decided I'm only taking disposable gear with me when flying from now on. E-cig cartos and Joye batteries. Don't want to risk losing my Ultra or DART.

You could try and empty out the capsules and put it in a sandwich and just take a few bites periodically. Food is allowed to go through security check points just add a little jelly to the sandwich so it seems normal.

I travel a lot, all around the world.
My arizer solo is always with me.
It's no problem to take it with me in the plane. I pass throughout multiple security check. They even don't notice it. For sure I always clean it before the trip and separate stems from the solo itself.
It even happens i had stuff wit me in my pocket not being aware, and traveling from Europe to us.

Sometimes I put some stuff I'm my back pack and take a look at the screen control as its going trough the UV and the stuff isn't visible in their system as its just vegetable.
As if you we're carying tea...

Ecig are not a problem,
Just put your battery and ecig into the basket
So they cannot have a doubt about it.
If they have a doubt they would hand check the luggage

As far as my experience goes. Bho is not detectable with dog.

Fogoff,
Fogoff, holy quadruple post!

I wouldn't risk taking my Solo through airport security. Maybe others are different, but I've never gotten mine clean enough to completely eliminate the ABV scent.

I really wouldn't recommend anyone else follow Fogoff's advice to take herbs with you, either on your person or your luggage.

I once used an e-cig (regular e-liquid) on a plane lavatory, just to see if what would happen. Didn't set off the detector, but still monumentally stupid in retrospect.
