Here is an interesting item I purchased new on BM. It's made by EvenFlow Glassworks and stands about 10 1/2 inches tall. It's a recycler that is based on the Hamm Glass designs.

Now, as with all of my sales, I want to be perfectly honest. This piece has some flaws- bubbles around the mouthpiece, slightly off-centered lines, etc. That said, it hits like nothing I have ever tried. The vapor follows the water up and into a chamber where a whirlpool action takes place and recycles the water. It's crazy. $150 shipped to your door in the US!

It comes with a clear 18mm dome, too!

Yeah, when he says $150 US, he means $150 US ONLY. Coulda saved me bothering to get my hopes up and send a message. :(

BTW, is that just a natty perc or is there a little disc between the downstem and can? Hard to tell.

serious question> would that thing even work in the southern hemisphere? I thought that's what the first comment about the flush was referring to. Maybe the vortex would be fighting the natural flow of water. You guys would probably need a backwards one. :hmm:

It would work fine. Coriolis effect is pretty damn weak.

I was referring to the fact he'll only ship to the US. Gotta be like ten times now I've enthusiastically enquired about something to be told "US only". So frustrating. :c

It's even more frustrating when the stuff then proceeds to stay up for weeks and you can't buy it but have to keep looking at it. At least in this case my ardour has cooled somewhat since seeing the mouthpiece. :p

I had a power outage and fried 2 of my ballasts, so I'm dropping this to $135 to try to raise some cash.

Well, if you sold internationally, it'd be gone at least twice already by appearances. :p

One thing I'm still wondering about; Does it have a small disc perc or is there just a natty bend to generate the bubbles?

Regardless of my thoughts on the mouthpiece :D I wish I could buy this...it looks like so much fun.
