Has anybody ever used one of the smaller DI bubblers with the cloud?
Was thinking of getting one, but I'd want to find a way to get the small-prefrit working.

Guess I could just get a female-to-female adapter and the cloud would work, but does anybody know of a source for glass frits that would be small enough to fit on top of the regular 18mm joint? I might try to break one of the regular prefrits down to size.

As far as I know you have to file down the prefrits to make it fit a regular 18mm joint

To pair with an underdog and Herbalaire 2.2 and a soon to come gn0me funnel - do you guys recommend the DG 16" straight or DG Bubbler or DB Mini Can or DG mini Bub? I'm after potent/flavourful hits while still keeping the vapor soft...( low water level hits ) Which one?

Here is my Mini bubble. Love this thing. I use it with a pen most of the time on my nightstand :)

Here a quick vid in action...

The new micros look great - anyone know what diameter the mouthpiece stem is? Smaller than the larger tubes?

I am thinking about picking up one of these. I am debating between the 18inch Tube and the 10.5inch bubbler. Does anyone have any experience with both? I have a concern about the tube. I like to sit the tubes in my lap and tilt them at an almost 45 degree angle. Will the fritted disk still work at that angle? I am concerned that the top of the fritted disk will not be in contact with the water so it will not bubble as well. If that is the case then I should probably go with the bubbler.

Edit: I thought about it some. I realized the Bubbler was the better option. I have a water pipe that I like quite allot. The reason I wanted a new piece was so that I could film video demonstrations easier. I currently have a water pipe with a cobalt colored beaker. It looks nice but it make sit hard to see the vapor milking in the chamber. It is also 18 inches and kind of hard to manage while trying to film a video. I can put the Bubbler on the table and sit near it. It will be easier to film in the long run. Also I can take smaller hits... sometimes i have to do multiple takes while filming a video... I noticed with my 18 inch water pipe after clearing bowl after bowl I got too medicated for my comfort level. This will allow me to film more but not use as much.

I know you wrote this a long time ago but I saw you talking about your cobalt beaker. I love that thing! In fact, watching your videos is what started me down the path of GAS. So, I don't know whether to thank you or call you nasty names :)

Being cranberry less.. I love my DG the most. Dry. He's super smooth without water that is crazy. I remember someone has pointed this out here.
Yeah man. Even running the Cloud through my frit completely dry is incredible. I love using it as a "dry mouthpiece". :D

Thanks for the idea mate :)

It is the best flavor I ever have had on a first puff. If you never tried you definitely should.

BTW I removed all my dg labels, they where getting ugly faded, they come off very easy with citric acid and its almost invisible now, it's still there but perfect transparent, you really have to search it to see the sanded incrustation, but only the black ink is gone, the blue and red of the rooster seems impossible to get off even with acetone, white spirit, percabonate, citric acid, bicarbonate, iso, ethanol.. Not a big deal. If someone knows the trick..

Thanks ! Yes this one was on the topic. I think it was approved for the black ink but have not seen it tested on the rooster, that would also be hard to get to europe but I may find a alternative if I'm sure it will work it's worth it !

Does someone removed the rooster entirely ? I know its sanded anyway but the sanding is in fact really light and almost invisible. Now it's a bit weird with the colored sections still there but a ghost rooster would look awesome.

I have a stronger acid than citric acid in my basement I did not tried, cause it looks kinda frightening all the stuff wrote on the bottle, that shit looks strong.

I remember him saying he loved the rooster and he was keeping it. Not sure how it ended tho. I might try that other acid I have, we'll see. Its very strong and recommended for the same kind of applications, dissolving calcium, like this acid magic. The colored sections are really strong compared to the black sections, they came off easy.

I used to put my water between 1 & 2 cm above the frit for both my mini can and straight tube, but since I've been rocking rezblock, for the tube, I actually keep my water level a mm or 2 below the frit, and it still stacks all the way up to the top of the tube :D
For the mini can, I'm now at 3-4mm above the frit.

My fritters must easily win the award for most test pulls out of any of my pieces, it's just so fun hitting them without a vape and watching the stacking

so, I've got a 16 " convertible with a steal your face frit that I'd like to keep from fading too quickly. has anyone tried PBW with colored frits? Does it cause them to fade?

The color in the frit should be encapsulated in clear glass, in fact, it doesn't move. The black in the labels fade very easy. Acids or peroxide based products eats it away.

edit - you can see all the ink is gone except the colored sections of the rooster

btw i tried hydrochloric acid to remove the colored sections, it doesn't work

I was told to keep the water 1-2mm below the disk by David G. The idea is the suction sucks the vape & water through the disk to perc.

Exactly what I do when I have my water, with cranberry, how I like it :) I just let a bubble before the frit and that's good to roll.
