My ISO reclaim does pretty good in a 1/3 or less of a bed load in the stem...
Never used organic cotton but I'll try soon.

I've done Black Affy import, kief, qwiso, and bho in a bud sandwich, but find I prefer doing the qwiso and bho in a piece of cotton ball better.

But it still doesn't beat a true dab by any means, just a different method for different times.

The tip part should be extra thick in diameter to get that pin point funnel hole . imo
Not just thinned down to a fragile glass tip .
In fact , just like the molded shape of the Omicron tip .

I should have the PVHES straight stem to try out with the tip tomorrow night .
Also ordered their 14 mm Gong adapter last night , so I'll get to use my big bubbler soon .

Ha Ha, yepper, got er in real good. Nice and tight as it's new. Suspect it will loosen up before long. Always the way??? Or is it just me.
Anyway, doing some testing. First thoughs...........well they appear to have left me as just finished a round.
Will touch base before tooooo long.

I'ma go on a limb and say it happens to everyone. Yes it will loosen up, to the point where you can shake the solo and watch/hear the stem wobble around.

I'm sure you heard by now, but planetvape.ca is giving high temp rings with their solo stems now, good to be prepared if you wanna keep the stem tight

Thanks for the insight. Have read about the O ring thing. I also got a turbo shorty but did not come with O ring. Because it's not a stock stem I assume? Anyway guess I'll have to cross that bridge when it comes.

Pipes, I think the shorty should have come with it and maybe if they are out of stock that is why. I would give them a call or throw them an email and maybe they will send you one :shrug:

I have used every concentrate there is in the Solo.
Cotton is your best friend for liquids, and full melts...
layering with herb for the stickies.. as well as the hashes...
bubble hash if powdered can go by itself.

Odd, I just got a PVHEGonG recently and it came with a ring. I agree with dreamgirl, give them a shout and see if they'll send you one. Otherwise, I'm sure you could get a volunteer here to send you one for free :nod:

I ordered both the PVHES straight stem and the PVHES Gong adapter this morning .
I'll let you know if I receive any O-rings tomorrow .
Plus I ask them to throw in some extra Omicron tips for me also .

How was the O ring packaged? I see a groove on the PVHES but needed for the screen. Is that where it suppose to be mounted? Going to go through the garbage if was loose packed.

The O-ring was shipped around the gong for me, there are instructions for placing it on the solo

Thanks Stu, great offer. I still need to look through the packaging again. If I do not find, I'll contact PV. I'm sure they'll make good. No instructions neither. Although I did find the info slip regarding heating to get stem on the first time. After I asked here. :doh:

I take it that you replace the existing ring then? So good for both stock and PVHES?
