Nice to hear others are digging the lids. I bought a lot of crap that didn't work before I stumbled upon those
I was skeptical, but you were right about lids fitting perfectly. Can't beat the pax when you're on the go and now it won't stink. Thx

Propylene glycol, I believe that vaporpedia or Pax site says the packs are PG. It works but not like a magic cleaning or anything.
Have you guys tried leaving the lid ring intact, works great and holds the caps while in use. Pop the caps and slide the ring down the pax until it hits the sticker.

I cleaned my pax springs yesterday, holy hell do those things get gross. Mine had like a hard taffy coating of black shit, works great now. I reduced the spring tension while I was in there and now my mouthpiece will never Boba Fett off the top of my pax ever again

Do you have a link for Foodsafe PG? I didn't buy the packets, they sent me 10 of them and over the course of the last year, 3 new mouthpieces. Love their CS. I also emailed them and told them how expensive those packets are considering what's in them and how easy it would be to put some lube in a bottle like mine

I always wanted to do a stealth version of the Mentos lids because it seemed off to have a bright colored lid on a black Pax. I finally grabbed some black vinyl paint this weekend. Not sure how it will hold up over time, but it looks cool for now
I bet the blue one looks cool on a black Pax.
New here, new to vaping, just got a Pax, and I have a question.
I've come to the conclusion in my research on the device that it works best when its finely grind and the chamber is full and packed tight.
Is there any problem with keeping the bud in there for multiple sessions throughout the day? Because I wouldnt need all that in one session. Im a bigger fan of multiple smaller sessions throughout the day.

someone in here had already accidentally submerged their pax in water and it worked fine, though I am not sure I'd want to put my mouth anywhere near anything thats been dunked in the pooper.

I would actually recommend disassembly, it's only one screw and it doesn't void the warranty.
That way you can really dry everything off and check out the battery
Oh, I didn't even know that was possible. I'll have to dig around for some dis-assembly instructocons.

No. You can get good results with less than a full oven.
That's a tough one to answer. Do you feel lucky?
I like having the warranty. I've owned 2 Pax for almost a year and have had to send one back for a replacement in that time. So if I had tried to save the $100 like you are considering, I would be out $150 after less than a year. It's also nice knowing I still have nine years of warranty left.
Mine usually take about 1 hour and ten minutes to charge. I do not fully deplete the batteries to the point where the unit won't power up, but I do wait until it is flashing red when you shake it (indicating low battery).
Pax cannot be used while charging.

Some epoxy and some plastic paint not nessisarily in that order and I think it will button up
Such a good idea! I'm looking at getting some stickers with some bull shit like you find on the back of an iphone with fcc details and storage capacity, won't stand up to police etc. but makes it way more stealth, I'l try this too, always thought it would look so stealth with headphones!
Yea might be better to just buy it new and have the 10 year warranty as peace of mind!

I do this all the time. I drive to work while it's on Low, vape for about 10 minutes and then turn it off. It then sits in my pocket for about 5-8 hours before I go home and finish it on Medium and High.
No problems yet. Though it does kinda suck to have a half-started chamber instead of a fresh one.
