Hi there! As the Cloud is now available in Europe, I'm seriously thinking about getting one. I need your feedback about the hydratube tho' in order to decide what model would suit best to my research.

To your opinion is the hydratube worth the extra $$? I find the difference in price pretty huge between the standard model and the one with HT.

I tried a few times my SSV with a 1st price bubbler and was not really convinced because I found the vape less tasty. Stil the same effect with an HT?

If taste is of utmost importance to you, you may want to look into the swagger showercap. Haven't used one myself(have hydratree 1.0) but mvapes & tdub claim that it allows water filtration without much impact on the flavor profile of your herb.

I think the Cloud and many other temp dial vapes can make it easier to get a certain type of high due to better temperature control -- specific dials to get what you like. With the MFLB the only way to sort of control temp is by how fast you draw. This is my opinion, having owned the MFLB, SSV, and Vriptech Heat Wand.

And by the way, the Cloud has very good temperature control w/ a feedback loop electronic sensor to make sure the temp stays the same when taking a hit.

Could you please clarify something else for me? You said that the giggles were a side effect of combustion. This confuses me a little - I was under the impression that combustion means more of the other cannabinoids (CBD) which stone you out more whereas vaping means more THC which means higher / giggles? (comparatively using the same strain of course)
Is there an exact science to this or different experiences for different folks?

I've got another Cloud-related package today from vapefiend. I've ordered 8 ELBs a week ago so it came. To my surprise there was another vapexhale wristband - YES, never can't get enough of these. So it's even easier to hold the Cloud at the top now. I'll be waiting until they can be bought alone, becuase there isn't any more other stuff I need now. Thanks vapefiend for another wristband!

I was little disappointed by few of these ELBs. These two I got with the Cloud are perfect. 3 of these new 8 weren't. There were some incomplete/ugly welds. One of these worse 3 even broke when I tried to flatten the base to make it able to stand on its own like i like. Yes, it is my fault with this one and I'm sorta glad it happened to one of these 3 ugly ones.

I think both of these 2 are usable, I will just leave them for backup for the worst times when I don't have any perfect ELB available for some reason. Even the broken one.

Threepwood: Actually THC alone seems to be dysphoric, so no giggles would probably happen there. THC+CBD seems to do that.
I think its like this:
THC: Head high (stimulating, dysphoric, psychedelic, dissociative...)
CBD: Body high (euphoria, antipsychotic, relaxing...)
CBN: Stone (sedative, dysphoric...)

Getting the giggles is more related to being new to getting high, vs. smoke or vapor. You don't see long time mj users sitting around giggling. At least that's my lifetime experience, and applies to everyone else I've been around while high, as well. As a long time user you might be more inclined to find things humorous when really high, but getting the uncontrolled giggles is a different thing altogether. I get totally wrecked at times, but haven't had the giggles in decades.

Smoke vs. vapor- you get THC either way. You'll get more with vapor, since smoking burns up/incinerates some herb before you get a chance to inhale it. In fact you get a considerable amount of vapor when you smoke, since the heat from the flame vaporizes the plant material before it combusts, and you're inhaling vapor along with smoke. With vaporizing you lose a certain amount of the compounds that release at high temps, but those are mostly sedative and analgesic.

Nice video and blog entry stonemonkey! I didn't know there was a blog section on your site. Just read through the articles and they're great. I love your article on green smoothies. If you ever do find yourself having more time, you have to get a masticating juicer. Wheat grass is amazing and helped keep me feeling like a person when I was on a liquid diet for over a year. Kale (and the VXC) also played a pivotal role as well. Keep up the great articles!

So calculating from your post:

Assuming your setup was $580-$600 or so.

In 21 days you smoke $580-600 worth of ganja on average. With the assumption you get an O for $200, you smoke about 3 ounces of weed every 21 days.

That's smoking 4 grams a day. You used to smoke 4 grams a day? Sheeeeeit.

Watch some "Buck Wild" and then some "Jersey Shore", then tell me who you would rather hang out with.

To stay on topic, I got my VXC on Wednesday. First few sessions left me unimpressed. But it seams like every session it just keeps getting better and better. This thing rocks, :rockon:

It has my wife's approval (no we are not related), can't wait to try it out with some quality flowers, :smug: .

Hey, I'm from 'Jersey originally, and I can't think of a bigger embarrassment for New Jersey than those clods on "The Jersey Shore". I don't think any of them are actually from Jersey any ways.

But, does every state have its stereotypes...absolutely! And what's great is being able to poke fun at each other...but in this insane fucking PC world we're become it does seem that everyone's "feelings" seem to get "hurt" about everything. I've got friends in many, many states...love all you guys and gals!

P.S. I'll take Buck Wild over Jersey Shore any day!

Yeah. An ounce a week give or take. Plus oil and edibles.
