warm it up in hot water, or even try boiling it, just remove the top/switch part and inner battery sleeve first.

Thanks for the quick reply and for the unit! I cant wait to see how it compares to my ultra...im assuming my ultra will start collecting dust based off of the size of the 17670 battery...

So I did the whole cleaning process, and everything was working great for a couple of bowls, and all-of-the-sudden the T1 stopped working. It went from a complete orange glow to no heat at all in no time, and I don't know why. I've contacted Thermovape, but what I am curious about is will the Revolution that I ordered work? I'm hoping it is just the T1 heatercore that is faulty.

Take it apart and put it back together. Clean the battery sleeve and the inside of the outer body shell (with the cutout.) Sometimes it feels like it's up and engaged but doesn't completely "click" like it should. Whenever my Ultra does that, I just spin the actual battery sleeve a little bit to the left or right, and either I can feel some resistance or none at all. If that doesn't work, I'll unscrew the switch housing and take it out and back in. It happens less now that I clean it every few days. Even just a quick wipe with my shirt will fix it. The lovely thing about TV stuff is it's mechanical so it's pretty easy to pinpoint where it goes wrong. Battery, switch, core.

Have you reset the switch? That sounds like what's gone different on you.

The core is almost certainly not the problem. They are very tough and have two heaters, it'd be like both headlights on your car burning out the same moment, possible but one for the books.

What adapter did you plan on using for the Revolution?

The bottom-most part with the spring around it? Yeah, pull it out, make sure the o-ring inside is sitting flush, and put the switch back in.

Close. Remove the cart, then the switch, seat the ring (I use the switch body pushed in backwards), seat the switch as deep as possible, then screw the cart back on.

The idea is the switch can 'spring back' toward the battery on the ring. By using the cart to force the switch backwards this is prevented. The rest is just getting the switch and ring into starting position.

This is the common 'won't fire' problem with major parts movements.

If that doesn't fix it, the chances are still on the switch, try substituting the switch from your T1 adapter?

Good luck.

I think they are sold out of them, have you contacted them?

Also, I just got the ultramax. I noticed the switch was coming out a bit so i took it out, reset the o-ring and put it back in flush. Screwed my dart in, and when I took the battery out i noticed the switch was sticking out again. Theres about a mm of the black around the spring sticking above the metal. Is this normal? I barely have to move the battery sleeve to turn it on...

Just wondering because This doesnt happen with my ultra.

It happens with mine (unscrewed it just for you.) Want a pic to assuage any nerves about it?

Fun fact though... take the cart off and it pushes all the way down... now screw the cart back on and watch it creep out a little bit once it's fully screwed in.

My advice? Don't worry about it :)

Mynameismud, I hope you're not right. It has been a pain dealing with this company. They told me it was in stock, I ordered it, and I've been waiting several days longer than it was supposed to take. Their customer service is a joke, and I've been calling the past several days simply trying to ascertain a tracking number.

If they said its in stock, it probably is.

I know i contacted them a couple months ago about something thermovape related because the website looks so poorly designed I was skeptical...

it was on their website as in stock and about 3 weeks after I sent them the email I finally got a response saying they were sold out. Im just not sure if it was about that or something else like the revolution...

Hope everything works out for ya

I apologize for the delay in a responce, we have been focusing all of our efforts on the Cera and getting orders shipped out.

We are nearly all caught up with Cera orders, the only cores we are still holding back are the Liquid cores due to a design change. The best way to get ahold of us is at sales@thermovape.com or info@thermovape.com, or (888) 428-VAPE

We were having a few issues implementing our website to our cart, we should have a new unified one in the coming weeks.

Also we no longer make Revolution, we are only making our current Cera models. This may change in the future however.

Happy Memorial Day!!

Cheers,
Tim

I think you might have got a little mixed up, I'm pretty sure Mud and Deadhead were talking about dealing with this retailer and not you guys.

Great to hear the website is being updated though!

^^Wow!

And yeah I was talking about the other retailer, not your website. Sorry for the confusion, I would never talk bad about anything TV related after getting my dart a couple months ago

Would like to know if that site is legit too. The Rev stem is hard to find individually now.. best chances are buying the entire set and even that is sold out at many places. Anyone received their package from this site?

From vaporwholesalers, I never received my package. I'm in contact with these guys, but it's taking forever, and I really just want a refund at this point.

I've had a T1 for over half a year or so and don't use it as much as I should and that bugs me. More often then not, I don't get a good hit. I'm always unsure if i'm getting it hot enough to produce good vapor before I start taking a pull. I always make sure my batteries are fresh off the charger when I use the T1. There have been a few times i've gotten really good hits off the thing. It keeps me coming back for more.

I've been riding my bicycle to work a lot more now that it's nice out and i'm going to start bringing it with me for the 16 mile journey. Anyone have tips for getting the formula just right for an enjoyable experience? I'm going to start drying my bud out ALOT more before I grind it and vape it. Just looking for tips because you all seem happy with the T1.

Thanks a ton!

Fill it so it's just about to the rim of the bowl. Hold it on till you know it is all the way hot before inhaling. I would watch it warm up and count how many seconds till it is all the way orange. Inhale with your lungs like you are taking in a deep breath. 15-25 seconds for an inhale if you can. That should do it.

Howdy, welcome to the fun.

As you say, T1 is capable of outstanding performance under the right conditions. When that doesn't happen IMO it's because of the conditions, not the machine. The right technique should give the same dependable results....and I think does for those of us who 'break the code'.

I suggest you look up and seriously try 'the 3 step technique'. I've written it up in the Vaporpedia article in some detail and several dozen times in this thread in lesser terms. You should find it easily with a search here or on the Wiki page? The basic idea is to build on PB's advice. Heat it up completely before going on (step 1), then use a couple of steady draws to transfer the heat to the load (step 2), then get a solid "test puff" before going on to step 3, the actual hit.

You really need a technique in line with the design, random stuff doesn't cut it.
