Well, I'm sorry to say using a JyAR to get through TSA is not an approved and officially sanctioned use, JyARz are not intended for concealment! But I'm very pleased that you are pleased with my product! And thanks for the poolside shot. I hope your wife will come around because JyARz on Space Mountain would be a beautiful site!

Thanks again for the photo and testimonial, very much appreciated.

Got my four JyARz in the mail today. I gave them a little crash course before they could become a part of my vapor accessories. They came through with flying colors!

If you're thinking about expanding your storage horizons; be sure to purchase a JyAR(z). You won't be disappointed.

So much incredible support on this site, I can't thank you all enough! The next project is underway, partly funded by sales and partly funded by...my savings...so I hope it goes well...a larger size to start. Injection mold design and production is EXPENSIVE...but you all are making me feel like this little business has great potential. I guess we'll all find out one way or another together.

OK just finished reading the whole thread. I am considering one of these but am wondering how people are using it most effectively? I have 2 Cvaults right now which work great with the Humidipaks. I am also using some Mason jars for storage also with Humidipaks. The vast majority of the time I vape from home but every once in awhile I take my portable with me. Even though I am a medical patient I don't feel comfortable with people smelling my medicine and getting the wrong idea.

I think I want this but not sure. I like the Cvaults because they have wide openings so it is easy to get in and out of but you can't really put it in your pocket. I am thinking the JyARz are good to use to store already ground up herb to take with me and then use a solo stem to suck the ground up herb out of it.

1. How long does already ground up herb stay good kept sealed in a JyARz? This seems like a great portable solution to take already ground herb in a smell proof glass container that won't break.
2. How hard is it to get the ground up herb into the JyARz? Right now I use a large SCS grinder and suck out of there and it works beautifully but the grinder is not smell proof and not quite that pocketable. Ideally I could scoop right from the Grinder into the Jyarz but not sure how easy that is. Does anyone do this?
3. How well would this fit in jean pockets?

Hello John Lewus , I can't answer your first question as i've not had my JyARz for long .
What I do to load ground herb in mine is to dump the ground herb into the palm of my hand and scoop it up with the glass JyARz insert , works for me .

I wear pretty tight levi's , a jyar fits comfortably when out and about . No matter how Dank the Bud there's no odor even with the JyARz right under your nose . I think you would like it .

I use the JyARz with my WISPR and it works great to just stick the stem in and suckup the herb.

I have a large SCS, and i sorta scoop it up using the inner jyar... then I use a small paintbrush to brush the rest of it out.

Ground herb seems to stay very well. I usually end up with about 3 days' worth in a Jyar, and the last little bit I have to brush out (small paintbrush) as it seems sticky. So, for at least three days, the moisture level stays very good.

I'm using them for single strain pre-ground... since my E-Nano is so easy on the herb, it's almost impossible to grind a small enough batch for just one stem, so I do enough for a few, and Jyar the rest.

Haven't had mine long enough to give a good answer but it seals up tightly. I'd assume it keeps for some time with little degradation to the herb.

Insertion and removal of your herb with JyARz is very easy. Almost 1" diameter opening, I'd say.

Very easily! :)

I can answer your questions since I have a solo, SCS medium and a jyarz. This is what I do:

I normally keep my herb in the jyarz as long term storage since it does seem to keep everything very fresh and I dont use very much so I dont buy very much. I then grind as needed into my SCS and use the solo stem to scoop out of the SCS.

But I recently had to use my jyar how I assume you plan to use it.
I recently got a batch that was too moist so I grinded everything up and let it dry alittle then what I did is made a paper funnel by just rolling the paper and put it inside of the jyarz. I take the glass core out of the jyar when pouring and depending on how full it is and how sticky my stuff is I either hold the jyar at an angle and keep taping it into the solo stem until its full or I shove the stem into the jyar and pull out this kind of packs the material into the stem.

What size SCS do you have? I have a large and wonder if I could scoop the herb with my finger into the jyarz. The nice thing about the SCS is it fluffs up the herb making it easier to scoop.

Just got my JyAR today. So far after first impressions and basic use I am really satisfied! The JyAR is the perfect size and it's great that you can store in a container that looks like a film canister but is glass on the inside so it keeps everything nice and fresh. The seal seems pretty tight and it's awesome that the black container blocks out light. All-in-all I'm very happy with my new storage container (crushes the RX containers I've been using!) and I will most likely be purchasing extra JyARz of different colors in the future.

First, thanks to EVERYONE for jumping in with their input. Amazing!

And, this goes for anyone on this list who purchases a JyAR (maybe I should just make it standard policy), I'll guarantee you'll like it. If you purchase a JyAR, try it for 30 days. If for ANY REASON you don't like it, simply give it a wash and return it in the original shipping box for a full refund. No questions asked. I'm pretty confident you'll see that a JyAR is a great value and very useful and that way you won't have to guess...just try it for yourself. OK?

My wife pushed me into the pool and i found an added bonus to Jyarz...they float and are waterproof (at least for a minute or 2)!

Wish I could say the same for my IPhone...

I've heavily tested the waterproof characteristics of a JyAR. I submerged them in hot tubs for weeks...no leaks. It'll easily withstand a dip in a pool. Sorry about your iPhone!

When I first started selling JyARz a lot of people said they didn't want to pre-grind. But as more people use them I think they're finding that you can safely pre-grind and maintain the freshness of the product for a very long time, I think that's the case for 3 main reasons:

1. JyARz are relatively small so there's not much air in there to dry out or oxidize your product.
2. JyARz block UV rays, which also helps preserve freshness
3. JyARz have great seals. Find the stinkiest thing you can find, put it in a JyAR, put your nose to it and I assure you won't smell it on the outside (unless you smeared some on the outside ;-)).

...And yes I use the "paper funnel" method as well...low cost, quick and easy...works for me.

Are these going to be available at smoke shops in SF?

I'd like to think so, I'm really focused on building online sales for the time being but I'm slowly getting out to shops as well. Do you prefer not to shop online...if you don't mind my asking?

I decided to jump in and try one of these out. I really like the concept of this.

Thank you! I think you will be pleased with it.
