I think it will be very soon..a few days hopefully. I'm going to the Treating Yourself Expo tomorrow and will check those Ascents out and report back as a few other posters will also.
I'm buying a Davinci for one of my daughters but I'll wait for the Ascente to be released as it has the features I want.

I'm back from the T Y Expo and what a great show it was with a very professional overtone.
I went to the Organix LLC booth and looked at the Ascent. They had all three models and I was originally hoping to buy the alligator option but I think I like the looks of the burl better. It's a print not wood but it really looks like a burl however it would be too costly with the real wood. It has a deep recess at the top so the glass mouthpiece when in down position is well out of harms way. It had a nice feel and the lower hinged section seemed solid. Certain posters here are concerned whether the bowl is too big to handle small amounts of herb efficiently but the bowl didn't seem overly big to me . I'd say it will handle small loads just fine but that is my relatively uneducated opinion.
There was a man and woman working the booth , they were the owners of Organix and were interesting and pleasant people to talk to but now for the bad news...it may be as long as a month before we can buy one. She said the designer who is a fussy perfectionist had the panel with the buttons redesigned because the original control panel didn't sit flush but was raised above the surface where it might catch on things or maybe he just wanted a sleeker design.

I did buy a DaVinci for another family member and had a short test flight on an MFLB and we thought it was a nice piece in fact my wife almost bought it but was reminded of the fact we have too many vapes now.

Nice to hear that it should be able to do smaller loads. Did you get a chance to actually use it?

Good thing I bought a flashvape in the meantime! This just means I'll definitely have the money to purchase at release.

Thanks for this information, based on the way they conduct business I will definitely wait for the ascent. I love the fact they have so much passion in their product.

Thanks for the info. Much appreciated! In the mean time would you guys recommend the arizer solo to hold me over till the ascent comes out. Puff it up has it on sale for 160$? I know there's a specific thread but I was tired of reading through a ton of posts. Any opinions would be appreciated!

This is not the thread to discuss this... If you want to ask questions about the Solo you should really go over there.

I don't think Nunavut got to try it out ,
Otherwise he would have reviewed it somewhat .

My bud went down today and said it was packed with people .
Plus I got to watch a livestream from my dispensary , nice set-up .
They showed the ' medicating area ' which was basically the upstairs balcony area for the hotel staff
to go have a smoke . I'm not sure about this ' vapor lounge ' room tho .

We haven't heard from Smokum yet ...

Bad news in one way, but good news in another. The Ascent will be that much better. Fussy perfectionist designers are the best kind!

Yeah and that specific issue would bug me, panels that don't fit right don't scream quality...

That's correct . I was only able to look at it but as suspected it looks really sharp and appears well made. The delay is sad but I say just let them get it right the first time.

You can't toke in the main show floor but you can go in the large vapor lounge or outside to the long balcony overlooking the rail tracks and the base of the CN Tower . There were 200 people or more there toking and socializing.

Advanced Nutrients gave away several $1000 awards for matching your badge nunber with someone else. Lots of lovely ladies giving away swag and advertizing. Guest speakers were John Conroy , Dr Courtney and Kristen and others . A glass art making competition and tons of nice glass art for sale.
The show has a very professional feel to it. Congrats to Marco

modnote: when quoting you need to type after the end quote tag for it to show up right.

I'm with you, I love my Cloud. Ascent for ultimate portability and the mini Vap from Spain so I don't have to travel with my Cloud and I would be all set. Hope everyone is having a killer weekend!
